The rose in spring DysFUNKtional Duck The rose in spring Why would you want to move out of civilization just to live a few more short years of misery? Misery? As long as I have my freedom, I won't be miserable. Not completely, anyways. : P The day I lose it, is the day life won't be worth it anymore. No sooner. You don't have rights anyway. You never had them to begin with. I don't believe in rights. Besides, I do what I like and what I like hasn't been anything for the government to interfere with, thus far. When they try to stop me from living the way I want to, then I'll worry about it. Until then, whether or not I have "rights" is irrelevant.

Never give up. Never surrender. Never back down. Giving up is in itself a defeat.

I guess my point is guerrilla warfare isn't giving up, its simply a strategy that incorporates retreat as its principle for defense, and surprise for offense.

They control you without knowing it. How so? For one you have internet. 15 years ago, people never thought the internet was vital. They thought it was handy, but the owners convinced us that we can't live without it. Just like they said we can't live without oil, electricity or other things that we as humans lived without.

I don't have internet connection, myself. The only reason I even have a computer at all is because my sister gave me her old one, when she got a new model. I've also lived without electricity, on prior occasion and plan to do so again, someday. And I'm very aware that if I had to, even though I'd rather not, I could live without oil.

True, but neither Brit nor I ever said anything about guerrilla warfare. We just said never give up. ^_^

There are laws against living without utilities.
