She chuckled at him as she continued to happily make her way through the trees, she stopped for a bit and looked back to see her mate still attempting to keep up, aww the poor boy didn't like the trees! She chuckled, "Come on Hania, slow now are we?" She nickered and trotted off again, no need to run, Hania was too slow! blaugh

Hania snorted, managing to look indignant. "Right. Well, I am only taking my time, love, because of all these decorations Miakoda put on me." To emphasize his point, he reared to show off the bandages around his legs and then shook his head to show off the feathers and necklace, wishing his tail for the last few feathers. "See?" he proclaimed triumphantly. "Very difficult to run in these things, love."

She laughed, "That is just an excuse!! My people told me that those things are used to help increase performance! You are just SLOW!" She chuckled and bolted off again; oh how much fun it really was to just be happy, bounding around and having fun.

Hania grinned. "Just teasing you, love. Besides, I'm supposed to be a gentleman and let the lady win, yes?" Smirking, the darkgolden colored stallion moved toward his mate swiftly and gracefully, the feathers he now wore fluttering along with his mane and tail as he trotted over to his beautiful mate. "Your bonded should get you a few things like mine," he whispered in her ear huskily. "I would fall in love all over again, and much more deeply." Pulling away, and quirking an ear, he laughed at the cliche he just told his mate, but he had meant every word, even so. "Shall we? Or should we explore and see who else is out there and around us?" he questioned before nuzzling his mate's luxurious red coat, which was softer than any other coat he knew or felt.

Mahiri snorted, "Oh so I am not good enough for you now?" She raised her head holding the smile inside of her as her stern face was showing. She turned and trotted off in a random direction away from Hania, she wanted to laugh and giggle but oh the fun that mischief could cause!

Hania was aghast. He hadn't meant it that way! "Hiri, Mahiri, I'm sorry! I promise I didn't mean it that way! Please!" She was leaving him! And it was all his fault! Hania frantically searched for a reason to keep her by his side, but there was nothing he could come up with, save that he loved her and that was all he could give. His love. "Please..." his voice was pleading now. She looked so cold, so stern... did she just become his mate to please him? Please don't be that reason!

Mahiri turned around and stuck her tounge out laughing, "Oh Hania darling... your silly!" She chuckled and trotted over to him noping lovingly at his shoulder, she flicked her tail and trotted around him a couple of times, "Silly Hania, me lave you ever?" She chuckled again and nuzzled his neck. "Hania, I was playing with you!" She had a sweet loving look on her face along with her cheeky grin, well he wanted to mate with a playful mare, what else did he expect?

Hania smirked. "Gotcha," he whispered into her ear. At the same time, he pushed her into the water of a clearing they had both walked toward. Grinning, Hania smiled. "At least I know you still love me. Besides," he cocked an ear, "you should know I'm a total flirt. If I lose a mare, especially my mate, I'll take drastic measures to return her to me! Hm. Maybe I should start a herd!"
At his proclamation, Hania laughed. "Just kidding. I don't know about handling a herd. All the Soquili I know are very independant, including you, my mate." Laughing some more, Hania jumped into the water after her, creating a small wave to wash over his fox colored mare-mate. "Got you again!" he teased.

She soon made her way the lake and up out the other side where she galloped around the lake a few times neighing, nickering, snorting, she looked like a crazed girl, but then, she was mates with Hania! She chuckled and didn't say a word, just ran, round and round and round and round!

((*pouts* I want SoA twins... preferably pure white lions... but... *sighs*))
Hania watched as she ran round and round the lake, sighing happily as he lazily swam around, trying to follow her but at slower, relaxed place. This is what it means to have a mate... he sighed again in bliss, eyes lighting up with the love he had only for his chosen love. An idea popped into his head. I'd love kids... Smirking to himself, he eyed his playful mate. I wonder if she'd be playful enough to have kids with me? Shaking his head, he smiled. I suppose we can wait... but I just CAN'T wait to have kids of my own.

Mahiri nickered happily as she continued to run before stopping to drink something, then she started again till some nice looking grass caught her eye, she trotted over, nickering happily to herself. Her ears flat on her head listening to what Hania was doing. She was happy, in total bliss.

Hania was splashing around in the lake, his ears picking up different sounds, but mostly listening for Mahiri. He was semi-worried because they were a bit far from their bonded, and there might be predators lurking. Swimming to shore, he stood in a sunny area and shook himself hard, laughing a bit as the water droplets flew away from his body. He scent the air carefully before hurrying to try and catch up with Mahiri in her run around the lake.

She chuckled as he came to join her but she continued to run. She wanted to prove she was faster so she ran and ran and ran, rather happily. She occasionaly turned tro see if he was following though the thundering of hooves made it evident that he was. She bucked a couple of times but ran and oh she felt amazing, running.

Hania smiled to himself as he watched his mate run. However, he wasn't going to let her run too far ahead of him, so, pumping his powerful legs hard, he began to close the distance between him and her. "Hiri! Watch out, because here I come!!" He was feeling a little neglected (if a little horny) and he wanted to touch his mate. He knew that, with Mahiri's playful personality, he'd have to get around that and work with it, but it didn't matter too much to him, so long as his mate was happy. Now, to catch up to his mate.

Mahiri turned to see him coming and chuckled, turning around to face him she charged right at him, only just missing him as she veered into the water as she was about to crash into her mate. This was definatly an amusing time. Mahiri was having fun though she wasn't sure if Hania was, but hey running on the waters edge, what could be better?
