You know, something that I've been doing recently that I really like.... I found this vest on clearance at Sears a while back. It's wierd in the sense that instead of coming up as far as a normal vest, to about the n****e line, and having a V shaped collar, it goes straight across the chest, right under the bust. It actually accentuates the bust, but damn it looks good on me ^^ I only wish I could find a couple more like it ;___;

I'm a 34 C/D (it changes with different bras but if we gonna go by true measurements then I'm a 34D). I have large hips as well (38"). But I have like no middle. XD I'm like big boobs, box, big hips. I have to tailor my shirts so that I can look like I have a nice waist. D: So I like to wear corsets (or just a cute plain Wal-Mart brand waist cincher). I have small shoulders though. But I'm not ever sure if that's good or bad. D:
Japnese brand loli clothing is usually going to be small. They are almost always made in one size only so you really have to be careful.
But I'm a proud of my boobs and try to show them off as much as possible even though in Japan a lolita with large breasts is undesirable (it takes away from the doll look). That's why a lot of American lolita clothing isn't really lolita (showing too much skin and wearing too short of skirts falls into this as well).
But the loli dresses that I do own, I have not latered but left them alone for however they make me look, and one of 'em actually makes me look almost flat. XD
I want an hour glass figure. D:

In case I confused anyone:
Bust: 36"
Waist: 29"
Hips: 38"

Aaaah, I feel your pain, I wear a 40 D bra and have big hips. When I wear lolita I use a bra that squishes my boobs down so I can get a more authentic look (albeit this isn't comfy crying )

Oi. I've no idea why I didn't post here earlier. This post is pretty pointless by now, but oh well. :

I like the corset + nice shirt combo the most, though.

Pretty much every suggestion I had has already been given, but heck. I feel like complaining too. biggrin

I look like a squat middle aged woman, or so the casual clothes that "fit" give the illusion of.. aksjfaslkjf. Even though over the past year or so I've lost some weight- the overall SHAPE of my body makes clothes impossible as opposed to the size. Most clothes make me look like I don't have a waist, and that I'm just a giant shapeless blob. (I'd love a smaller waist, but what's the point if everything I wear looks like I don't have one to begin with? gonk )

I'm nearly an hourglass figure, with a bust of 42 inches, a waist of 32, and hips at 41. (I find it funny that I'm top heavy. Usually if you're almost an hourglass aren't your hips usually the slightly bigger part? D: )

To accompany my bust I have man shoulders, which also make appearing feminine difficult. To attempt to take away attention from that, I like the assistance of vests, much like the ones that someone already mentioned- the ones that usually end up cutting off right below the bust, at least. So instead of "Wow, she's huge, and has shoulders like a linebacker", one is more likely to notice that I actually have a waist. heart

If it weren't for that kind of vest, corsets over shirts, or shirts that pretty much come with a built-in hourglass shape, I'd appear to be much more of a blob than I sometimes seem to be. biggrin

i have the exact same problem, i'm a 38D to a DD (eugh the pain! but it changes with different bras..very surreal). I baught a metamorphose tshirt off of ebay and it fits, but it's really short because of my bust..
All i can recomend is buying cutsaws, and jumper skirts with shirring.
I have the same problem with my hips, i have a small waist but huge hips, so everytime i look at a skirt...it will fit my waist but there aint no way it's going to fit over my hips to even get to my waist!

But ye just try and keep an eye out for stretchy stuff, it sucks...but i guess it's the only way ;-;

i am exactly the same aas you, and i personally hate strechy, i usually find blouses that fit in the bust and alter it to fit better in the waist be adding a tie back or taking the seam in the side and as for skirts i usually get free sized skirts, usually circle, and wear petticoats with them it creates the classic hourglass as well as being a lolita style biggrin (pants are the hard thing to shop for razz

I know how you feel!
I'm 42 29 42, an hourglass shape which doesn't exactly work with my preferance of Ama and Classic Lolita xp

I know your pain about looking shapless.
sometimes I swear the way clothes look on me make me feel like i have a mans body!!!

But corsets really work, I have a rather big chest for a 15 year old female. and its hard to find anything that makes me look decent.
whenever I wear lolita i look like a blob of monster thats going to consume the school and i when i wear a little bit of baggier clothes I look like I'm a man.

well I have I think 32D or 34D I can't remember which size I am in your guys sizes, but I'd 10D Australian.
My friends discribed my figure as an almost hourglass and that it makes me look tall. She's taller then me, but you could never tell unless we were side by side. I look taller then I am. I wish I had a proper hourglass figure... but I have scoliosis so... my spine viewed from the front looks kind of like an S curve... you can't notice it unless you stare at my spine when I'm bending over topless, so yeah no one notices. I think it's a 35 degree curve or something like that. 40 degrees and you need to wear the backbrace 23 hours a day, 50 you need sugery.

My messurements are Bust 34" Waist 26.5" Hips 36.5"

But you know being a A75-AA75 is also not that fun, becouse most dresses in western countries (here at least) are made for people with more bust.

Tying breasts down is painfull even for small ones, i do it often

I have the same condition as Scruthy too, with my back that is. Its very painfull too.

For me its hard finding a dress that fits becouse of my small size.

Im only 161cm tall and weigh 45kg, and alot of the skirts i want either are too big on the chest or leave an annoying bad somewhere on my back. Its terrible. I guess it really must be that skirts are made badly if not bought from Japan (ok.. they are here)
