xDemonhornzx Water Faerie Naomi xDemonhornzx Well, I don't know where i'd jump in...but the first step is getting my OC approved so i'll just wait on Rath. After that, though, i'm gonna have to plan this out because i'm still drawing a blank... How 'bout the two characters jump in together? I need an opening and an excuse for interaction anyway...

That sounds like a good idea! Jump in with characters already knowing each other. That way, you can have something to do immediately. ^.^
Did you read anything about the continent it's taking place on? I can help you a bit. =)
Rath is better at getting you into the roleplay, but I can give you some history and stuff.

In my experience, the best way to get into the RP is to read up on the world in Tales of Learania, develop your OC (Which continent and country of which FE game your character is from, how it came to our world, etc.), ask crew (or knowledgeable members) where your character can be in order to get involved, and then... jump in. If one is scared to jump in, that person will miss out on the opportunities.

If one is scared to jump in, that person will miss out on the opportunities. I did read Tales (though I was not patient enough to read all those links to summarize RP events of the past). I also did state which continent and country and game my OC is from and put it in what I sent you. I'm not sure how it would come into this world, and most crew seem to have private profiles so I can't pm and ask where I could fit to get involved.

Don't worry so much about those summaries. We don't expect new members to sit through and read everything. They're there for a more convenient summary of what has happened in past events. Newly arrived characters wouldn't have knowledge of what happened back then, so it's not crucial to know.
I'm... not sure what you mean about them having private profiles. None of them do, to my knowledge.

Err...I meant the crew who have private GAIA (not available to the public) profiles.
And now I have the issue of how to jump in. I don't want to throw myself in there, and even before I could do something like that I need to find out how I come through this Door...

By which crew are you trying to PM? Because there are some that are event NPCs. If you're curious which crew are the crew and aren't, here's the link that listed the crew. The reason why some of the NPCs are crew is so we can make threads beforehand for the events to start.

I know, but... I just checked with a bunch of the crew and they said they don't have it set to private, so... I'm not sure why you say that.
It's not hard to think of something. Some people use the moment when they were about to die. Our Janaff came when he went into an outhouse. You can be as creative as you want, pretty much. It's also just a way for your character to have some background. Like, "How did I get here..? I was going ____ and then suddenly I'm here..."

Ah...well.
Would it work if he was off unlocking some door somewhere, stepped in, and found himself in...wherever with no return way?

...Didn't know I was expected to answer anything. :/ Well, anyway, I do have an idea. Your idea of how he comes to Learania is brilliant. And when he comes through that door, he could easily appear at the asylum, where s**t is going down. (Seems like an appropriate place for a thief to appear in) Also, don't let the size of Kurai's post intimidate you, she just happens to be really, really good.

Okay...thanks. Umm...also, about the character...
Do you have the full bio up somewhere? Also, i'd like to have an image for my character, so can I go ahead and get an anime picture that I like and paste it in front of my posts as opposed to a Fire Emblem style character? (Since I have no one to make the FE character image thingie at the moment).
I'll just read this asylum through and see what the heck's happening...crap, three pages...
