The demon could practically feel his demon blood boiling with excitement. He took seat across from the other and let his emerald gems flicker over to the male across from him. He placed his arm on the table and positioned it correctly, well he hoped it was correct. He had seen humans do this before, and this was the way the position their arm. After than it was just all on the strength either human possessed. A predatory grin spread on the demon's features as he thought of his sure victory. He was not going to lose this, he could not lose this. The cards had spoken, and so had the blood raging inside him. This was the one he had been paired with. Not a demon, which a pity, but still he had qualities no human average human possessed so that smothered the disappointment that lingered in the male's heart.
"I would like to say that I wish you some luck," he mocked, ruby lips stretching to form a twisted smirk. One filled of arrogance and confidence. Z knew he was getting a bit ahead of himself here, but when the blood of demon pounding like his was doing it was hard to control the emotion swirling within the normally emotionless creature.
----
Kei shook his red-head and looked up at Remmy with a shy smile. "No thank you," he started, his fingers hooking together under the counter. "I must be going. I have to go find my mas- er brother. I must go find my elder brother, and go home," he explained, trying to cover-up the mistake. Humans did not have masters, well they did, but Z told him not in they were partnered. It was quite different, and the lecherous look the white-haired gained when he spoke of this, was all Kei needed to understand what he meant. Humans were sort of weird, but if they knew of their existence then they would probably think the same thing. "Thank you for the wonderful hospitality," he said hopping off the round chair and looking at the bartender. "I really enjoyed talking with you, and the sweet drink," he commented, smiling innocently.

Dreizehn glared as he sat in his own chair, across from the demon. "Wish me luck, huh? Sure you don't want to keep some for yourself?" Did this man think that he would win? He may be a demon but there wasn't any way that he would let the other win, that was for sure. It would be faster to mate with him and skip this little challenge, but there was no way that Dreizehn was going to do such a thing. Nor did he seem fond of touching the demon. Only after staring at the other's ready hand for a long moment did he grab it and prepare for the arm wrestle. "Let's do this." He snapped. He was going to get this over with and go to bed. He didn't want anything more than that. The stupid demon could go and rut with his own kind, Regardless of what the cards had said.
Remmy raised an eyebrow in surprise but nodded. "Of course. I'm glad that you enjoyed the drink." He aid smoothly. But Remmy was aware that he couldn't keep Kei here but he was curious as to what the boy had meant to say. It wasn't hard to hear the small slip up. He was going to see who exactly? But he didn't ask that of the boy. Instead he began wiping down the bar for the last time. Once Kei left he'd close.
"And where is your older brother?" He asked softly. It did bother him a little that Kei's older brother wasn't with him right at that moment. Kei didn't seem to know much about drinking and he ought to have had someone other than Remmy showing and explaining all of this to him. "You do know where he is, don't you?" If Kei did, then he wouldn't be letting the boy leave the bar by himself.

It took seconds for the demon to slam the human's hand down. It took milliseconds for the smug smirk to cross the demonic creature's face. "I win," stated the demon simply, staring at the little human before him, his superiority complex starting to show. Well it always showed, but as of now more than before. He unclenched his hand and retracted, subtly noting the softness of the human's hand. His on the other hand was calloused and rough. The outcome from holding weapons and fighting many battles. "Our deal," he reminded, rising from his seat, pushing back his seat. Emerald gems gazed down at the human with an expectant gleam, he had been waiting for this. He waited patiently and now his prize was just within reach.
Kei looked at the bartender, his smile falling right off his lips. He had to come up with a quick answer. Though his mind could not conjure a decent lie...or maybe he did not want to lie to the other. He was such an honest human, his angel-like heart could not bear it. His past masters always scolded him for having such a tender heart. Kei could never harden it, he felt wrong and like he was not who he was if he did. "Umm...no," he mumbled, his looking about the room, and not meeting the bartender's gaze. "Well...I might..." he said lamely. His memory was sharp as a tact, but he doubted Z would be there.
[[Sorry its so short...and I hope the whole scene with Z was okay >> if not I can change it. ]]

He...lost? Dreizehn blinked, shocked. Was it because he was drunk that he hadn't been able to put up much of a fight? He didn't want sleep with the demon. After a moment, he looked to the man, glaring at him. He won and Dreizehn wasn't going to go back on his word. He couldn't, honestly. He'd made a deal with a demon and he knew that they were the type to collect no matter what. "Fine." Dreizehn shoved himself away from the table and stood up. He walked up to his bedroom, not waiting for the demon to follow. He didn't want to go through with this, but hey, it was just one night.
His body swayed a little as he stood waiting in the bedroom for the demon to join him. His back faced the door as he waited and the alcohol that was impairing his mind.
Remmy tilted his head. "You might?" He asked softly. He moved around the bar to stand in front of the boy and tilted his head up. "I'm still coming with you. I'd hate for anything to happen to you." The bartender smiled as he spoke, being gentle with the man.

Z fully expected the human to backlash and try to go back on his word, but he did not. A honorable quality that not many humans possessed. The demon followed Dreizehn toward what he assumed was the bedroom. The corners of his mouth twitched, wanting to display a lecherous grin. He contained himself, in order to spare the human. He had shown his honorable quality, he could at least modest about his desire. The bedroom was modest in the demon's opinion, as he let his curious eyes scope the room. In the end they settled on the form of his mate.
The demon shut the door behind him, and slowly approached the human, desire swirling his green orbs. "It is quite sad I can not spend as much time as I wish to spend with you," he stated, his tone dripping with mock disappointment," but I will make do with the little time I do have," he murmured quietly.
Kei felt a fluttery feeling in his stomach as the bartender titled his chin north. He felt like smiling, but why? His nose wanted to crinkle in confusion, but the young demon refrained from doing so. "Are you sure," he asked, his eyes looking straight at Remmy's, unabashed. "I mean...what if we don't find him," he asked, his own mind supplied an answer, but the little red-head was quite curious to know what the human would say. What if he didn't let him go? How would we get home? Would he have to escape from the human...his stomach got the weird feeling. Did he not want to escape from the human? Well he could not stay in his world of humans, it was not his. He belonged with his own race, despite their obvious dislike toward him. He was runt in the eyes of his kin, but he would show them, which is why he could not dwell in this world for long.
Kei noted he felt slightly saddened, though was it because of the human? How was it possible to get attached in the span of such little time? The demon did not honestly know. [[ Good. :] I just heart Remmy]]

Dreizehn glanced back at the demon and glared at him. He didn't want to hear about how this demon had been wanting this, wanting him. Yes, Deeizehn enjoyed being desirable, but he drew the line when it came to bedding demons. This night was going to be the one exception. This was the only time he'd let someone dominate him. This was all pure lust on the demon's part, that much he was certain of. If the other ever came around again, he wouldn't get through the door. "Let's just get this over with." Dreizehn remarked softly. He didn't want this to last any longer than it had to.
The bartender shook his head. "No, we'll find him. I won't leave you alone until we do. Okay?" Kei seemed a little lost and nervous to Remmy. He didn't want the boy to wander around like that all by himself. There were bad elements out in the world, and they wouldn't hesitate to take advantage of a kid like this. "It's dangerous out there, you know. And I'd feel a lot better if I knew that you were with your brother." Family was much better than the strangers wandering the streets at night.

The morning after, Z woke from his slumbering state, for a moment he was confused as to where he was. It took a second for everything to sink in and make sense. Green eyes glanced to the side, and saw the second person who took part of the nightly activity they had engaged in. Ahh, that, if Z was to be honest had to admit that was a of the best nights he had ever had. Memories from the night flooded the demon's active mind, a grin almost taking up his whole face. The naked male glanced at the time and sighed. He couldn't stay any longer than this, he had to go back to headquarter and report. The usual protocol.
Z also had to go find the young demon he had sort of ditched for his own pleasures. The demon almost let out a groan as the responsibilities he had ditched were now piling on him. Z peeled off the covers from his warm body, and slid off the bed. He stretched his limbs before bending down to pick up his scattered clothing. Each cloth brought back a memory as to how they were removed. A smirk touched the demon's lips as he slipped on his undergarment and then his pants.
A couple minutes later the demon was fully clothed and ready to leave. Though before making his departure he left the human a note, leaving a comment on the night and how much he liked their night together. Leaving his nickname as his signature the demon left, and left not even a trace that he was ever there.
Kei on the other hand sighed, was looking out the window. He had stayed over the bartender's home when they had not been able to find Z. Damn that demon, and his uncanny ability to suddenly disappear off the planet. With a soft growl he looked away and looked about the room the bartender had let him stay in. It was not bad at all, but the gut feeling that he had to leave today was aching in his chest and stomach. It was almost as if he did not want to leave. Though that wasn't possible. He had to go.
Humans and demons could not co-exist in a world together. That was like asking an angel to be friends with his kin. Not possible. Rubbing his head the young male laid back down on the bed, and released a sigh. Where would he be if that bartender had not been as nice as he was? Would he still out wandering the streets like a clueless moron? The demon grimaced, he probably would, knowing himself. Turning around and facing the window again, Kei kicked the covers off his lower-half and closed his eyes.
Z had to come for him...he just had to, or else they couldn't really head back home. Well that was unless Z decided to be an a** and just tell the boss he had died during their mission. Which would be pathetic considering there was no danger, or enemies in this mission. The young runt turned again, restless from his over-active mind. He needed to stop thinking so much, it was causing his mind to overheat.
"What should I do," the demon whispered to himself.

It was well after the demon had left that Dreizehn woke. The hangover he was suffering from only compounded by how tired he felt in spite of having been sleeping for what felt like years. Dreizehn groaned and blinked at his surroundings. All familiar; he was in his room. Dreizehn shifted to a more comfortable position when his arm stopped him. Dreizehn groaned to see why he couldn't move and paused when he saw what it was.
What the hell happened last night? Why was he handcuffed to his headboard?! The tarot card reader sat up and groaned loudly as he did. What ha--
...Oh. Hell.
Dreizehn cursed as he sat up and focused on freeing himself from the handcuffs. Last night did not happen. It didn't. He was never going to think about the demon or what he agreed to while he was drunk.
Remmy felt sorry for Kei. They hadn't been able to find the other's brother. He was lucky that he had enough room to put the boy up for the night. Leaving him by himself might have meant the end of his life. There were a lot of unscrupulous characters in the places they had looked for the other's brother in. Rather worrisome for Remmy. What kind of life was Kei leading? He needed to find this out from Kei or his brother as soon as possible.
But, first, breakfast. Remmy smiled as he laid out everything on a plate for the other before going up to the room Kei was staying in. Remmy knocked on the door carefully before opening it. "Kei, breakfast. I brought you a plate of fruit and toast." And he could make eggs if the other wanted that as well.
(( *flails* Sorry for taking so long. D: I'm in the middle of getting ready to move so it's all chaos here. ))

It was a tickling thought that wouldn't leave Z alone. It was in the back of his head, like a mother nagging a child to do something. Z just could not shake off the burdening thought. He felt as if...as if he were forgetting something...Though the demon had made sure before he left that he had all his materials. Everything was in place, even his boxers, so what was missing? Could his shadowed thoughts be the human? The thought was instantly rejected, if not that then what? Z looked out to the horizon with a frustrated look, his brows were pulled together in contemplation. What was keeping him from leaving?
It was instant, the moment the shadowed thoughts unveiled themselves. Kei. He had forgotten about his apprentice. The demon hit his forehead with his hand as he cursed aloud. "Damn it." The demon gracefully rose from his lax position and scanned the city before him. Where in the world could his naive apprentice run off to? Z scrunched his nose, the boy had enough sense to head back to their hideout, right? The demon pushed himself off the building and landed on another roof. It was a sane idea, but Kei had a tendency to forget his logic when something grabbed his attention, and Z had every right to assume that this human city was perfect place for the young demon to get lost. This city was like a puzzle for Kei, a seducing and tempting mistress calling out for the young demon to come and explore, to satisfy his insatiable curiosity.
Z released a tired sigh, he should have been a little more direct with the boy. Instead he had let his own priorities hinder him. "When I get my hands on him...." the demon muttered a few obscene things under his breath as he skipped to another building. Why did he even take on this apprentice thing? Z shook his head, he would question that later, right now he needed to find the young red-head, and pronto. The boss would be expecting them in a couple hours.
---- Kei turned toward the door, and released a smile. The man, Remmy, had been very kind and hospitable to him. Maybe he was lucky. The demon slid from the bed and walked over to the human. His curious eyes plucked the fruit, he slid it between his plump lips, and his buds went directly to heaven. Fruit. The candy in his mind. The young demon released a pleased grin after swallowing the delicious treat. "This is utterly delicious," he commented picking up another piece of fruit. His pink tongue wasted no time in wrapping around the delicacy and bringing it inside Kei's awaiting mouth.
After having his fill of the fruit, the young demon moved to the odd brown thing. He picked it up and arched a crimson eyebrow. Why was it hard? Kei brought it to his mouth and took a nibble from it. He scrunched his nose in disgust. That brown thing was not as good as the fruit. "I like the fruit...not the...um...brown thing," he said, glaring at the offending piece of food. That was like eating sand or something! Kei walked back to the bed and quickly made it. His mother always told him to be a good guest when in someone else's home. "Thank you for having me," he said, turning around to face the human.
Kei had come to the decision of heading back home. He could not reside here, it was not his home. Home was with his kin. The people who shared the same blood as him. Unfortunately, they did not treat him as well as the humans, but it wasn't in the demon nature to be so kind and hospitable. Kei would definitely miss Remmy. The young demon almost wanted to hug the man, but he refrained from doing so, what if it offended the human or something.
"I have to go...I have to keep searching for my...um.." What did the human call Z again? B..Bro..."brother."[lol it is okay~ I'm patient. :3 ]]

It took a while but Dreizehn managed to get out of the cuffs. Still, something didn't feel quite right inside of him. He had no idea what it was he felt. Maybe queasy because of what had been done to him. Ugh, that was probably it. It had to be. Dreizehn hadn't wanted anything like last night to happen. He needed a shower. Now.
Remmy raised an eyebrow at Kei's reaction to the toast. It...didn't make any sense. What did the boy grow up eating? He was addicted to the taste of the fruits, that much was clear. What was wrong with a little variety?
"Kei, it was the least I could do." Remmy said softly as he set the plate down on the dresser. The boy's manners weren't the type he was used to--none of his other guests made up their beds so well. Then again, most of his guests were too drunk to make it to the bed without detouring to the bathroom for a round of puking.
He frowned when the boy said that he would be leaving though, and shook his head. "I'll go with you." Not that he didn't think Kei couldn't find him alone; Remmy wanted to meet the man that left someone like Kei by himself. It was completely irresponsible. Plus there was a part of him that was a little suspicious of Kei's claim that he was looking for his brother.

Z landed on the cement ground gracefully. He looked about before exiting the alley. Emerald eyes scoped the area before locating the area that was being sought out. It was the bar he had sent Kei to check out. The one he had ditched him at...
His demon instincts were very strong; they were not the type to be ignored! Crossing across the demon looked about at noted that the bar was closed. He released an irritated sigh. Who knew that letting his little apprentice roam would be such a hassle. The demon was about to leave the area when a voice behind him spoke up.
---
Kei smiled before shaking his head. He couldn't let him come. It would be the best if he went alone...but then again he didn't want to leave Remmy just yet. His company was nice and comfortable, much different than his kin. "You don't have to," he protested, trying to persuade him. Though for some reason Kei wasn't giving it his all. "My brother...he'll probably be at the place he left me...if I am lucky," he reasoned with a smile. The demon was bit proud of himself, he sounded really human right there, he even pronounced the 'brother' word correctly! [[Short its short. "You looking for someone?" The waiter of the bar stepped towards the man standing in front of his place of work. He tilted his head in confusion. He didn't recognize this guy, but he'd been staring at the bar. A new patron maybe? The waiter sighed and shook his head. Remmy ought to be here to take care of the orders that were going to be coming in today--where was he?
The waiter walked forward, staring at the door to the bar, before turning on the man. "The bar isn't open until five pm." He remarked finally. "Remmy's probably sleeping in bed somewhere. Did you need anything from him?"
Remmy frowned at Kei, he couldn't believe that the boy was thinking of leaving without him. He wouldn't allow it. He wanted to meet Kei's brother and see what kind of man left someone like Kei alone to fend for themselves. It was cruel and he wasn't going to allow Kei to go wandering around looking for the man. There might not be as many unsavoury people around during the daytime, but they were still out there. And Kei still exuded that victim vibe that Remmy couldn't leave alone. "I'll go with you. I've got to do some stuff anyway." Where had Kei's brother left him?

The demon turned around to look at the person who spoke to him. He didn't say anything at first opting to just stare at the human. He wondered if he should answer the guy, he could possibly know where Kei was. "Hn, well I was here last night, did you happen to see a red-head," he asked, his voice nonchalant. Z looked at the sky and determined the hour, he tried not to grind his teeth together as he waited for the other to reply. He needed to get going home, but he could not leave Kei. Consequences, dire consequences would be awaiting him if he showed up without the young red-head.
The demon sighed, he really needed to keep better track of his 'student' instead of getting caught up in his own desires and whatnot. He was supposed to be training the young demon...not abandoning him in the middle of a human city. Z made a motion to show how tall Kei was, "He is about this high with bright green eyes," he explained more in detail, hoping something would spark the man's memory. Kei looked at Remmy and smiled, this human's kindness just kept surprising him. None of demon kin would ever exert this type of kindness, only mothers with young demons but that was about it. Once the demon hit a certain age no more coddling or spoiling was allowed for the young ones. Sadly Kei was exempted from this rule and his mother kept at after he passed the age limit, which was one of the reasons he was so soft and innocent. It was till a couple months ago that his mother was actually forced by his father to stop. He sighed, he missed his family, despite the cold atmosphere that usually surrounded the house. "Well alright," Kei said with a nod," I think we should go back to the place where we came from," he suggested with a smile, "I have feeling my brother might be there." It was just a feeling, more like a instinct. It was natural to retrace your steps when something got lost, demons were no different.

The waiter frowned at the description. "Yeah, I remember him. He was still here when I left last night. Remmy was talking to him." Something that didn't sit well with the young waiter. Remmy rarely took any interest in anyone. True, the bartender did Pay attention to Dreizehn but those two were old friends and ignoring Dreizehn was much like ignoring a natural disaster. But the way Remmy looked at the tarot card reader... The young waiter sometimes wondered if there had once been more between them, but it was hard to tell and even harder to ask. He had always been interested in Remmy but the other man was always so oblivious to his advances. But some kid shows up and has all of Remmy's attention?
The waiter sighed and closed his eyes. "You're going to have to wait until Remmy gets here to ask him." Which wouldn't be for a while unless Remmy had a reason to come around here.
Remmy smiled, glad that Kei was letting him to come along. He still had reservations about the boy's brother for simply leaving Kei practically at his doorstep and this was going to be the only way that he'd be able to meet whoever Kei's brother was to give them a piece of his mind. First he needed to get more food into the boy, however. "Come down to the kitchen and pick out what you want." Remmy was a little curious as to why the toast had been discarded. Did Kei not like it toasted that much?

"I'll just wait around the area," the snow-haired demon informed, though under his breath he muttered some incoherent things that could not be understood in the human tongue. "Thanks for the help," the demon offered before taking off. He would wait somewhere else, and just keep an eye the place, it was not like he wanted to hang around the place anyway. Maybe he could pass the time by taking a nap somewhere, that would surely pass the time...or maybe too much time.
Z headed down an alley and fished out his phone. The technology humans invented was pretty damn good if one had to be honest. Cellphones were making their rounds in the demon world, and Z was one of the few who actually knew how to use it. He flipped open the small cellular device and fished for a number he knew was somewhere in his pockets. Upon finding it the male dialed it immediately and waited for the person to pick-up...he should have gotten Kei's phone...instead of putting it off. His decisions were really starting to bite him in the a**.
Kei looked around, noticing the familiarities and differences of the kitchen. He smiled to himself and took a couple more steps inside, letting his eyes really rove over the space. Though when he spotted the fruit his mind became fully invested into those foods inside his rumbling stomach. "Can I have some more fruit," he asked, the male's green eyes did not even bother to lift from the fruit bowl they were devouring over and over again.
