Ryumon moved with fluid and purposeful movements not dallying but never moving too fast, trying to keep an eye out for traps as moving too fast would be a dangerous mistake to make while in enemy territory.
"Koubadeyou-sensei.....are we making adjustments to the plan to compensate for Sukami-sensei's absence?" he asked quietly his obvious intent to be able to make mental reference points for his own version of "self preservation". To that meant safe guarding as many of his team mates as he could so they could all return home to suna victoriously.
While his worry for Akeru nagged at him he need to focus on the mission for now. He be no good to his friend if he was killed or injured do to a lack of focus on the task at hand.

Rekin fallowed close behind the others, Dropping to all fours and slowly crawling with fluid movement. Some how it looked more natural then his walking, He seemed to be feeling the earth with his hands, as if sensing the movements within it. As he was at the very back he was to watch for ambushes attempting to close off and kill from behind, If he even felt the slightest vibration from behind them, He would raise the alarm in a second. Now more then ever was the time for silence, This was a cave, Caves echoed, The slightest sound could be amplified and bent to be much much louder.

Before any of the ninja could tell what was happening, a large stone slab fell from the entrance of the cave dividing the team into two; Rekin, Ito, and Kazu outside the cave, and the rest inside. If the three outside were to listen they could here small snickering coming from the top of the unfinished statue as the four 'men' rose from their spots in an almost unrealistic way.

Ryumon whipped around at the sound of the slab crashing down and cutting them off from Rekin, Ito, and Kazu.....
"Hmm....this could complicate things a bit.....we could try to break through but it would expend a large amount of our energy to get through solid rock like that.....I have other means but it could also cause a cave in...it might be best if we simply continue on ahead.... I'm sure 3 suna shinobi can handle things....and Sukami-sensei is still out there somewhere...." he said hoping Akeru would do the right thing.
"Koubedayou-sensei...." he began "What are your orders?" he asked with cold detachment. A shinobi must adapt to a new situation and continue the mission as best they can. Ryumon knew this and hoped Kyou did too.
He prepared some of his standard issue kunai with exploding tags just in case they needed a last resort and some with fake exploding tags as bluffs and diversions, though one could not really tell the difference. He used 3 of each and placed them in separate pockets within his coat.
He then placed his hands in his sleeves ready to form seals at a moments notice

Can become a great hurricane"  "So they knew we were coming...unfortunate, but not totally unexpected..."Thier already deminished by one force being cut in half may have been a setback, but since the people outside still had the ability to flee, Akira could only assume that it was them that would take the brunt of this trap, since they were the ones who were actually trapped. "The others are trained Suna shinobi and the have a chunin with them that can get them out of danger...hopefully... Our best bet would be to continue on with the mission but to be very cautions while doing so. My barrier will protect us from gasses and projectiles, but we'll be in serious trouble if our group gets split up even more."Akira didn't seem too confident in his assertion that the others had Akeru if it got bad for them. It was true that she was out there with them, but who knew if she would actually help, especially if she wasn't in danger herself. With the attitude she had lately, she couldn't be trusted 100%. Akira, not hesitating for a second, continued to move forward through the cavern, still sticking to the shadows. The enemy may have known they were there, but if they couldn't get thier exact location, they could still have the element of surprise on thier side.

Ito saw the 4 men get up off the ground in a very unusual way. "Oh this is not gonna be good." Ito then heard a slight laughter. "Did you guys here that?" Ito heard the two ninja with him. Ito pulled out a second kunai. Ito yelled to his teammates near him, "DEFENSIVE POSITIONS!" he yelled loud enough for Akura to hear him aybe she would come and help them, and so there is a good chance that the rest of the team heard Ito talking about the battle that was going to begin outside.

Within every illusion, there is reality"  Akeru raised an eyebrow as she heard someone yelling something. It sounded like the voice said defensive positions, but Akeru wasn't sure. Part of her wanted to ignore it and go back to relaxing. However, she figured it was best to at least give it a look. Her chakra network only had a limited range, so it was usually better for her to spot threats than depend on it. Akeru crawled into a prone position, moving so she was just peeking over the dune she had been laying against. She saw the medic, the guy that was supposed to guard the medic, and the rearguard guy seemingly stuck outside of the cave since the entrance now looked closed. And there were some things on top that looked like some kind of people. It looked like these enemies were better prepared than they had originally assumed. "Well well...glad I didn't go with them. Let's see how this turns out..." Akeru laid there, still snacking as she watched. If she remembered correctly, since she wasn't really paying attention at the time, these three were pretty much new genin. It would be amusing to see how long they could last.

Rekin could have tried to weaken the stone with an earth release, however there had been no time to even consider this plan, the men spran up from the earth, He knew that move, Earth style Projection. He dashed to the fround, His Chakra armor flaring bright in the darkness giving everything an ambient glow. He stood up slightly, Though still hunched over, Using his armor as a kind of sheild for the others. He had to focuse, Strike with them, Otherwise there were no hopes of surviving his encounter, Atop that they had to work fast, Move quickly to avoid the opponets getting the upper hand. Rekin was very fast, Stronger then normal, and even resitant to damage, But even that would not be enough, Not against this many opponents. He could make out their auras too...tainted things they were.
"I am prepared!" He stood with his claws splayed and ready, barking his fangs.

Kazu heard a rather loud noise and wondered what it could have been. Looking at the entrance he saw the stone slab. "...Well isn't that just dandy," he said sarcastically. He doubted that any of them had the power to destroy the thing either. He didn't see any of them having a jutsu that powerful. They could probably try attacking it repeatedly, but that would probably waste chakra they would need later.
Kazu heard the snickering and looked up to see four people rising from the top of the statue. "What the..." he muttered while pulling out a kunai knife.

"Ok four on three, this doesn't look good. We could try keeping one alive and capture him. Get some information, well not that it would do any of the others any good now." Ito waited for the enemy to come to them.

Kyou snuck into the cave alongside Akira as he paralyzed the guards and they all prepared to enter. THen, they were split up. Great.... just what she DIDN'T want to happen. Why didn't she smell those men before now?! Great, just great... now there was nothing they could do but go on. Kyou closed her eyes and she took a breath and tried to focus, but it was becomeing difficult because of the whole situation. "I... don't know..." she said as she tried to think. They lost Kazu and Ito who was guarding Kazu, and Rekin who was guarding the back... leaving her, Akira, and Ryumon. Two offensive, and her... this could still work... right...? "You two take the front, I'll cover the back. We've gone this far, we might as well finish this already. I don't smell anyone ahead... this cave goes forward about 20 feet then it takes a left turn... " she said, giveing them directions. Clearly, they know they're here. SO now they need to focus, and they need to move fast.

"It doesn't matter..." A voice rang out from behind the uncompleted statue, though the men that were surrounding the genin acted almost zombie like, as if they were not even people to begin with.
"If you are ready..." A second voice rang out, it was distinctly different from the first, a bit lower and sounded like the man who spoke was larger than the first.
"Or not..." Finally the last voice spoke loudly as the three sources stepped out onto the top of the statue, striking poses as if they were superheros. They all wore a form-fitting green uniform. The first seemed to be a leader as he stood in the center and had a small hat with a feather sticking out of the base. The other three wore similar clothes and spoke with a bit of a foreign accent, one thing was for sure, these guys were not the run of the mill homeless men.
However, the genin would not have the time to think over the men as one of the surrounding men lunged at Kazu from behind, attempting to wrap his arms around the boy to take him out of the picture.

Rekin reached into his pouch and threw two needles at the assailant who was after Kazu.
"I Think Not!" He Charged forward and slid to a stop, Twisting on one hand and planting himself he sprung for a spinning kick to the mans knees, All part of his Ryenfio Tai-jutisu. They bairly had enough people to cover the area, The best way would be to form a triangle with each person using about 200 degrees of vision. That meant that each persons would over lap with the person to their side. As there were only three of them however this would prove more difficult. For now however Rekin focused on his attack, Defneding Kazu was a priority, and with his back to Kazu, He hoped the Shinobi would do the same for his blind spots while Rekin delt with this...costumed...thing...

Kazu would have reacted in time to have at least jumped back from the person who had tried to attack him. "Of course... attack the medic.." muttered Kazu as he watched Rekin defend him. "Thanks... although I could have attempted at least to attack him with a jutsu," said Kazu. He didn't want to feel like a burden on this mission and so far, he felt like one. "Who the hell are these costumed freaks though..." muttered Kazu while gripping his kunai tightly.

Can become a great hurricane" "Forward 20 feet then a left turn, got it."Akira knew them more time they took, the worse off things would be, but they also had to avoid rushing in unprepared. It would be difficult to keep the balance. "Just let me be the one to run into any traps, I'm the most prepared to deal with them. You two should stand directly behind me, that way they have to get through me to hit either of you."The last thing they needed was some kind of poison dart trap to hit someone, or for them to breath in some gas or powder. Akira's barrier would protect him from those things, and if the others stayed behind him, he could conserve chakra by just covering himself and using himself as a defensive wall for them. Akira moved forward for the 20 feet it took to get to the corner. He was going to peek around the corner down the hall, trying to spot any possible threats in the darkness. Kyou may have said she didn't sense anyone, but Akira wasn't ready to take chances and stayed in the shadows.
