"Well that depends... if you can look back on the tribe you would see another scholar... wouldn't you?" Keith tilted his head to the side. This was all new to him. Listing to her explain her job with in the Tribe was interesting. "Or can you not see others like yourself with in the memories?"

Cam tilted her head. "I'm sure there's been another with the same title, but I do not think they would have the same way of knowing as I do. The tribe was newly formed."
She frowned, searching through the vast stores of knowledge in her memory. "I would say I am the first to recieve knowledge from The Maker himself."

He tilted his head as well. "I see. It must have been interesting to have all that information flow into you. It sounds like a good way to learn about the tribe." He smiled as he thought about the tribe. "Well that sounds like a rather important job... after all it sounds like your the only one with past and present information on the tribe."

"Almost the only one," Cam corrected. "Our Elder, Altair, is directly connected with The Maker. He knows all the stories I was given, and possibly more. The scholar position exists because Elders already have so much on their plates with managing the tribe."
Cam stood and stretched. After sitting on a cold stone floor for awhile, she could feel some of her muscles beginning to protest the treatment.

Keith nodded. "It all sounds interesting... and a bit confusing." He gave a comical smile. "Of course thats just me... I have never been a tribe before." He scratched behind his ear. "It sounds like you Elder had allot on his hands. I can see why he in trusts others with knowledge." He watched as she stood and stretched. He figured she had the right idea so he followed her actions.

Cam chuckled. "It is a bit confusing. After awhile it just, falls into place. Becomes natural. Then you start to wonder how you ever managed on your own." Cam definetly wondered how she'd managed to keep herself fed before tribe Hunters, being as she was such a terrible hunter herself! Outside the rain was starting to get lighter, the thunder turning to distant rumbles.

"I know what you mean." He looked out into the forest and watched as the rain began to let up. He wasn't sure how he had managed to stay alive himself. Countless times he had encountered close calls but each time was able to make it out. "It would seem the storm is passing." He took a few steps to peek outside and see what it was like. He was a little sad. After the storm passes the female would no doubt want to head back to her Tribe. They could possibly be looking for her.

"It is," Cam said, voice quiet. Though neither had any way to know, their thoughts were along the same line. She was enjoying herself, and didn't really want to leave yet. "No reason I'd have to leave yet though, I'd imagine. The tribe is used to me leaving to wander every now and then. I'm sure after a simple check-in so they don't worry I was hurt in the storm would suffice, then we can spend a bit more time together."
She blushed a bit. "If you want to, that is."

Keith looked down at the ground. He was expecting her to agree and she would soon be on her way. He was a little surprised to hear that she wanted to spend more time with him. His head shot up along with his ears and looked at her with surprised eyes. "you would?" It came out excited and kinda high pitched and he realized it too cause after he blushed and looked away. "I mean... Of course I would love too." He mentally gave him a kick in the face for sounding like a moron the first time.

Cam quietly laughed, softly brushed the bushy green-and-yellow tip of her tail over Keith's front legs. She was glad to find that she wasn't the only one enjoying the moment.
"We still have to wait for the rain to die though." She peered out of the cave to get a better look at the weather. It wasn't coming down in buckets, but it was still steady enough. Still, ocean storms were quick. The rain would lighten up pretty quick.

He smiled down at her happy to hear her laugh. For some reason it warmed his heart to know she was having a good time with him. Her laugh was also unlike anything he had heard. It was a beautiful laugh though he could not quite describe it. "Yes... of course." He chuckled. "It would be rather troublesome to walk through the rain. I must say... i'm not a pretty sight when my fur gets wet."

"I look like I rolled in a patch of mud myself," Cam replied, blushing a little. "One of the downsides of having so much brown fur." She looked Keith over. "You have so much blue on you, I'm sure you wouldn't look nearly as bad as you think you do." She chuckled at the mental image

He looked her over and smiled. She didn't look bad at all. He thought it was funny that she could even think she looked bad... when in truth to him she looked rather cute the way her fur was lightly wet and ruffled. "No... you could never look bad." He smiled.

Cam chuckled and bumped her shoulder against Keith's. "Just wait 'til you see me climbing out of a pond or sopping wet, then you can make that call." Actually Cam had been told she looked something like on of those small cats humans had as pets when she got wet. She wasn't sure if that had been meant as a compliment or not.

Keith chuckled as he bumped her back. He had to admit he was having a great time with her. He had never had this much fun in a wile. "Alright... just name the time and river." He looked over at her. "I'll meet you there. Maybe we can have a little fun in the sun."
