She sighed and she lifted her eyes to his. "The darkness showed me something... told me something, unearthed an old memory, maybe, or it could have been trying to scare me I don't know..." she fell silent, afraid of what he would think of her, but finally the words escaped her. "I might be a mother, Tsensu... Some where out There," she pointed with her muzzle. "There is probably, most likely, a puppy that is mine... alone and being controlled by the darkness." the pain in her eyes was so severe and the pain in her heart more so... if wolves could cry she would have been weeping openly... but being that they could not, a whimper left her as she watched the sun set.

"Kosheart..." He said it with great compassion. Tsensu could see the pain in her eyes. He rose from where he was laying and sat next to her, wrapping his tail around her feet to comfort her. It was difficult for Tsensu to understand why she would have not recalled such an important event. But a bigger question rose within him. "Even if you can't remember your pup, if there is one at all, wouldn't you have remembered the father?"
As close as Tsensu and Kosheart were he couldn't believe that she didn't tell him of her past lover. He almost felt betrayed.

She saw the hurt this time in his eyes and she shook her head. "I didn't fraternize with wolves, I only killed them... So whoever the father was, it's likely he was also under the hold of the Darkness because I don't even remember a male from the past." she said, lowering her head to the ground with a grieving sigh. "I have no idea who or what the father of this... possible child..was. I have never in my life loved, and it has been exactly for this reason!" she grumped. She scratched her face with a paw before looking up at him with guarded eyes. She lifted her head and licked his cheek gently, before laying her head back down.

Kosheart was acting like a normal wolf enough for Tsensu to forget about the darkness having the ability to control her. "Sorry, forgot about that..."It made Tsensu a bit concerned when she was talking about how she had never loved in her life and why. He had considered that maybe someday him and Kosheart would be mates, but with her saying what she said the dream seemed very far away now. "You don't think me...and you...could....?" His voice trailed off. "I don't want you to think that the darkness will ruin a chance for you to love someone," he said staring at the floor lost in thought.

"Well... I mean... I just... I've never Loved Before... but at the same time... no one has ever tried to protect me, and no one has ever tried to make me happy the way you have been..." She wasn't saying that she loved him... but she wasn't denying that she might come to either. She lowered her ears and blushed beneath her fur, rolling over a little so her body was pressed against his, comforted by the feeling of a warm, breathing body beside hers.

Tsensu's ears perked up in happiness and his tail wagged. He gave a small bark of sadisfaction and snuggled next to her. This is where he wanted to be, next to Kosheart with no worries.
