I'm not sure your even part of our city but ether way, you can get into trouble from doing this, you know? " Pix believed Arete said and gave him a suggestion to leave now. Pix want to be able to speak to Gregory about what happened to her from the tower and what to be worried about. She doesn't want anyone, as in this man spreading rumors to people after sneakingly hearing her talk, with clearing things up.

Sora and Feather both looked back and forth as Arete and Pix exchanged comments. Finally, Sora decided to jump onto Pix's head, then Arete's, then Feather, then Pix's, etc., etc. until he finally landed on Arete's after the third time through or so. After landing on Arete's head, the little creature snuggled down into the hat and made himself comfortable.
"Erm, Sora?" Feather asked as she watched her guardian jump fro head to head. When he landed on Arete's head, the girl's expression changed from curious to exasperated, "Sora, what are you doing?".
To Tsubasa's question, Feather replied with a simple, "Nyu!". That was it, no mental link, no further explanation, no nothing. However, even with that, Feather could somewhat guess what Sora was up to. It was the same reason he had ridden on Arete before.
Other than her interactions with Sora, though, Tsubasa did nothing. What Pix was talking about was her secret, so the girl had no say in who got to hear it and who didn't. Likewise, Arete hadn't stolen anything yet, so Feather probably shouldn't accuse him for something he had yet to do. For now, this was not her conversation to take part in.

"Maybe." Arete replied to Pix with a mischievious grin. "But I'm not worried about getting into trouble. Whats life without a little risk, right?" He paused as Sora snuggled into his hat, but let it be. The creature was far too cute for him to be annoyed with it. So he turned his attention back to Feather and Pix. "I know, why don't we go on a little tour of the palace? Gregory won't be back here for a while right? And I just bet there's tons of valuable, I mean cool things that we could find."

Pix never really cared for damn golden things. She only really cared for rare items and her potions, but now.... the "valable" seam to be stuck into her head like she really wonts it.
Even though she having that word disracting her, she didn't forget Arete's quistion. Pix would be fine awnsering the quistion, but she afread that she may say something that really isn' her. So Pix looked over to Tsubasa to ask her first. "What do you think, Tsubasa?" It's better to have her decide on this. Gregory was met with confused faces as he entered the Palace. After ten minutes of the same surprised and confused looks, he asked one of the servants, "Hey, why are you looking at me like I've got a second head?"
The Servant replied in a small voice, "We've all seen you walk through here already sire?"
Gregory's eye twitched slightly as he almost shouted, "What?" Gregory then invoked the spirit sword he wielded and stormed his way through the palace looking for the impostor. Eventually he came across Feather, Pix and Arete, and almost immediately asked, "Why are you here?"

Tsubasa heard the explosive sounds of the storming footsteps before she saw the king, his enraged face assuring her that the worst-case scenario had just started. She had wanted to quickly solve the situation without any violence, and to do so meant involving as few people as possible. Now, not only did one more person seem to know about what had happened, but the additional person seemed to be the most likely to bring in violence.
Of course, Feather had nothing against Gregory, but the girl knew of how nasty things could get when people snuck into other people's homes like thieves. She also knew of the stories that she had heard snippets of about the wrath of the king, even if she had never seen it before. Last but not least, the weapon master's current appearance caused Feather to fear a fight even more.
"U-umm," the girl sought to explain, her expression afraid and timid, but then said nothing for a length of time. She couldn't think of anything. Finally, she whimpered the only thing she could think of, "Please don't fight...."

Thousands of different responses ran through Arete's mind. Telling the truth wasn't an option, as always, but the number of lies he could tell were near infinite. The spinning wheel of lies in Arete's mind landed right between "Who me?" and "There's a bomb in here!", making the clumsy thief spout out, "Whose the bomb in here!? I mean...there's a bomb in here! Everybody run!" before any of them could even respond Arete started running away from the group, back towards the exit.

He was to fast for Pix to react when he pretty much run away from her. She didn't cared that he's getting away after Gregory pretty much caught him in his palace. "I'm going to take a wild guess, but I doubt there's actually a bomb in here." Gregory said as he watched the boy run off towards the exit. He was ready to storm off after Arete, but decided to let the issue slide for now, even though he had a faint idea that Arete might have been the Fake Gregory.
"So Pix, what's this important thing you wanted to talk to me about?" Gregory asked when he was sure Arete was long gone.

Now it's finely time for her explain what happen, she doesn't know where to start. "Lets go sit down fist." She said to him, walking back to the room with the couches and her large fuzz thing on the floor. Pix just want to get back to her hound's tail, making sure it's not missing and possibly she can tell it part what happen to her.
Pix guided Tsubasa to the room too and let her sit. Pix first looked at her large white fuzzy tail and then decided to sit on the sofa, instead of siting it like a bingbag that started off Tsubasa crying last time. "Do you want to hear the long story or short story?" She asked Gregory. Pix doesn't know how long Gregory had time to hear what she'll say. Mite as will rap up so she can go back gathering ingredients, but she still slightly confused the voice going off in her head after the tower.

Feather was surprised when Arete dashed off quickly, but she didn't worry about it, knowing that Sora would make sure to keep tabs on the other musician. the girl thought as she followed Pix and Gregory into the room.
Sora, meanwhile, could only hang onto Arete's head as he ran off to who knows where. the little creature thought,

"Short version sounds reasonable, unless you'd prefer to tell the long version." Gregory said as he took a seat. His eyes scanned the room as he waited for what ever she had to say, Gregory didn't trust Arete to stay away from the palace.

Pix crossed her arms and leaned back on her seat to start off her story. "The strangest thing had happen me when I came back to the city, still searching for my ingredients.... It's after I met that giant, and that little kid that was in the area with you. When I was searching for the rocks at the outer rim when suddenly I've been carried away from a flash of light." Pix told the fist thing from her disappearance.
"After that, I appeared in front the tallest tower that I ever seen in the wired dark place. There was a sign saying it's called "Tower of sin", and to get threw, I have to sign my name on the door in blood, with the other names that seam to be already there.... I looked around the place first, but there was no other way but to move forward." Pix closed her eyes for a sec. "It was the craziest, deepest, dangerous building that I ever gone threw." Remembering all the level that tower.
Pix then opened her eyes. "I've meat two girls in the tower that doesn't wanted to attack me, unlike the creatures I've faced there. The dark angle looking one actually killed the large "Demon hound" that almost burn off my body with it's aside saliva...." Pix moved her hand over to the large fuzzy white thing that is tied up. "That's the only thing that I've brought with me from that very Hound." Pix than putted her hand back into crossing her arm. "After that, I've had to go further on the tower alone. And somehow I actually made it in the end." Pix was almost done of her story.
"There was this woman, had a very cunning smile. She said to get my self out of the tower, I had to sign the contract then I can leave... At first I didn't see this is right, but I was in a very bad shape. With my shoe been eaten from the wall, with little potions, and the round wounds on my arm from the spikes trap from the rooms that you saw before." Pix remembering Gregory form the bleeding arm she had. "So sign it and the next thing I know, I ended back at the outer rim." Pix is finally finished. She waited for Gregory if he had any question. She did left out a few things, like the crazy ride that almost made her throw up, and the deep maze thing, but she didn't really wanted to go deep deatials.

Feather listened carefully to Pix's story, her eyes growing larger with shock by each second. The story sounded unreal, strange. It reminded her of how she felt when she saw the ghosts, as if there was no way something like that could exist. "Pix," Feather ventured to ask in her naturally childish manner,"are you sure that you weren't dreaming?". Tsubasa had traveled quite a bit, but she had never heard of anything like what Pix had talked about.
