Aegle snuggled close and closed her eyes just enjoing being close to Leo. Her body vibrated as she purred. Nuzzling his neck she layed her head on his paws.

The warmth and stillness of the day lulled Leo into a light sleep.
((I guess we can do a nap time skip while we think about something else for the plot >.> ))

Aegle was walking along back toward Omaticaya lands. She was going to get to see her mate again and she had specail news for him.
A little creature followed some distances behind the vixen. Staying out of sight but not to where it would get lost.

Leo stretched out, lazing in the sun. He was in quite a good mood, made even better by knowing Aegle was coming to visit. After the last location mishap they'd agreed on a meeting place, a tiny clearing just to the side of the river. That was were he waited now.

Aegle spotted her mate and charged him pouncing him and laughing. "Hi hun I missed you" she told him

Leo laughed, rolling as his mate hit him to keep her full weight from hitting him. She was the only one who could catch him unaware, possibly because he didn't register her scent as one of danger.
The couple rolled a few feet before coming to a stop. Leo was still chuckling, attempting to catch his breath. "And I missed you!" The tiniest of movements in the shadows of the meadow edge caught his eye. White and purple?

Aegle smiled a sweet smile at Leo than got off of him and ended up blocking his view of things behind her. She tilted her head to the side as she noticed he was looking behind her. "What is it?"she asked. After a few seconds she said "Oh and I have some news for you."

"Good news, if your mood is anything to go by," Leo said, chuckling. He straightened to a sitting position and sat patiently, waiting for his mate to tell him her news.

Aegle smiled at him and held up her paw that used to hold a bcr. "Notice dear that something is missing."she spoke gently. She wasnt sure how fast he would catch on but she assumed pretty quickly.
The small little creature watched the two adult foxes quietly from its hiding place in the bushes behind the female.

"Akela hatched," Leo said, looking surprised. He was no expert on how long kits stayed in BRCs, but Aegle's kits seemed to have taken a particularly long time to hatch. "Where is she? Is she with you now?"

 Akela pounced the male as he said her name. She wasnt sure who he was but her mom knew him and apparently liked him. "Hello there"
"She is right here hun."Aegle said while laughing as her baby girl pounced on her mate.

Leo stared at the tiny female, whoes bright colors stood out against the lime green of his bushy tail, which she had pounced. "Hello there," he said, wiggling his tail just a little. "You look very similar to your mother." Leo chuckled and bent to his to gently nudge the kit.

Akela stood all tall and puffed out her chest to make herself look bigger and tougher. " I won. "She told him still slightly standing on his tail. She than looked at her mom and asked "Momma who is he?"
Aegle smiled as she watched Akela and Leo. It was a sight that made her all warm inside. Sitting next to Leo but close to Akela she answered Akela's question. "He is my mate or your step-dad my dear."She than licked Akela's cheek.

Leo snorted and very gently toppled Akela with his nose. "When you can manage that in a tree, I will consider you the ultimate winner." Inside he could feel the kit already taking over his heart. He was also a little scared; how could he be a dad?

Akela pawed at his nose "No see I win." she said before hopping of his tail and curling into her mothers leg.
Aegle watched Leo trying to decided what he was thinking. Nuzzing Akela she said "Akela that is Leo, Leo our baby girl Akela" she didnt take her eyes off Leo as she said it.
