Llujah laughed as he saw the sorry state of the shoe. He felt bad for doing so, but he simply could not help himself. It was too funny a sight. He knelt down and retrieved the sandals, still giggling as he did so. "Yeah, I don't think those were the right size." As he stood, he gave Bleez a grin. "But don't worry! They're sure to have a smaller pair somewhere."
After returning the sandals to their rightful place on the display rack, Llu began scanning the shoe boxes once again for a similar pair of sandals. Indeed, he found a pair, and after a quick once-over, he deemed it worthy to show Bleez. He handed her the box happily. "I have a good feeling about these sandals! Try 'em on!"

They had different sizes than what were displayed? Made sense, especially when she looked around and saw all the boxes on the tables and racks. Of course those boxes would be filled with shoes. Bleez's face flushed at the realization that the boxes that were practically surrounding her had different sizes of the shoes that were on display.
She quickly tried to hide the embarrassed color in her cheeks when Llujah returned with a different size. Her horned head nodded, her messy black hair falling over her shoulders as she did so. "'Kay," her clawed hand snatched up the box, careful not to get Llu's hand in the process. Opening the lid she saw the same pair of shoes, but much smaller.
Her eyes glittered as she carefully pulled the sandals out of the box like they were made of glass. Her grin widened, and her attitude changed from careful to giddy as she shoved the shoes on her feet and strapped them on. "PERFECT!" she squealed, uncharacteristically like a girl.

Llujah watched in anticipation and impatience as Bleez tried on the new sandals he had retrieved for her. He hoped that these ones would finally, finally, fit her. While he was very content with searching for clothes that would work well for his friend, he also wanted to move onto a new store or, even better, find something for himself. One could never have enough clothes, after all.
Llu was pushed violently out of his thoughts by the rather girlish squeal made by Bleez. Llu blinked and rubbed his pierced, highly sensitive ears and chuckled at his friend. "What was all that about..?" As he spoke, he looked down to Bleez's feet, which were now cushioned in the sandals. It was a perfect fit. Delight shone on Llu's face as he squealed as well, making several heads in the store turn in confusion. Llu gave Bleez a large hug as his tail wagged in joy. "They're simply perfect!"

Bleez jumped up with the speed that her blood allowed and caught Llu in a big hug. The shoe box that'd been sitting on her lap tumbled to the floor. "THANK.YOU.SO.MUCH!" She released the other spawn and beamed at him. She really appreciated his help.
"I'm.going.to.go.change.back.into.my.other.clothes.so.I.can.buy.these." She simply stated as she sat back down to take the shoes off, though she really didn't want to at this point. "Then.we.can.go.where.ever.you.want!" She smiled back up at Llu as she unstrapped the shoes and carefully placed them back in the box that now lay on the floor.
Placing her bare feet on the cold tile floor felt strangely odd now. She'd only had the sandals on for a few moments, but she'd already gotten used to them. How weird. She shook the feeling off and grabbed the shoe box off the floor.
Speeding over to the dressing rooms, she was relieved to find her clothes were still there. That could've been very bad; all her money was in there. Leaving her clothes there, in retrospect, was pretty stupid. Someone could've taken them fairly easily. She closed the door, changed, and stepped back out in a matter of seconds. She checked her pockets and found that money was still there. Good.
Taking the clothes to the counter, she paid and waited for Llu to show her where-to next.

Llujah grinned from ear to pointed ear. "I'm soooo glad they worked out for you!" Bleez's hug was very enthusiastic, and Llu was having trouble breathing, but eventually she released her grip and sped off to the dressing room once again.
Llu watched her run off with a smile, then placed his hands on his knees, panting. Bleez... really had a strong grip. It felt like his lungs had been squeezed out of existence. Even so, it was of little concern. Bleez was happy with her clothes and her shoes, and that's all that really mattered at this point. Llu smoothed out his wrinkled shirt and skirt and wandered to the cash register.
Once Bleez had paid, Llu grinned and skipped out of the store, wagging his tail in delight. "Awesome! Now that that's finished, how 'bout we..." Before he could finish his sentence, Llu was interrupted by his cell phone buzzing in his pocket. He rolled his eyes and retrieved the small square from his skirt and looked at the screen. After a second or two, he frowned and snapped the phone shut. He turned to Bleez.
"Sorry... That was my mom. She's here to pick me up. He groaned and hefted up his several bags of merchandise. "Man... What bad timing." He smiled a bit, disappointed that he could not shop with his new friend longer. His demeanor brightened when he looked back at Bleez. "Maybe we could get together sometime and go shopping again! I'm sure it would be fun!"

Bleez's smiled faded a little when Llu told her he had to leave. Dang. She bought so much for herself and nothing for her new friend! She felt like a jerk. But that feeling didn't last long when Llujah suggested that they go shopping again some time. Good! She'd buy him things then! At least two things, she mused, once for this trip and another for the next one.
"I'd.love.to.go.shopping.with.you.again,Llu!" she smiled brightly as she kept the plotting to herself. "I.can.walk.you.to.your.car,too. I'm.done.shopping,so.I.might.as.well." She hooked her arm in his as they walked out of the mall.
She watched Llu carefully place his bags in the car and climb in after them. She smiled and waved as the care pulled off and drove away. It was a good day and she hoped to see Llu again soon, she thought as she started to bolt down the road towards home.
