Tolin" Good evening, Pluto." He stepped through the door carefully. " I've found a way to cure the PT virus, of sorts. Or rather, a way to find a way." Tolin stopped briefly to ponder how he'd been told. Did it really matter that a dead person had told him? ...probably. " I had a meeting with Nico's father. His dead father. He told me about how he made a cure for the virus he created and how he wiped his mind so he wouldn't remember." He walked across the room as he spoke, taking a chair for himself and sitting down. He didn't feel like standing for whatever explanation he would have to give and he doubted Pluto did either. Manners be damned, he felt like sitting. " He had a journal which he had blessed before he died. The pages are indestructible. Nico found out about the journal some time ago and he spread the pages around the world, but they could still be found. A psychic search should be able to pull out their locations one at a time. After that, we just need Vito to decode them. We'll have a cure." He had been careful to spend an hour in the library checking over the Bongiovi family tree. They were fairly expansive with a surprisingly detailed series of records to their name.

Pluto Pluto followed Tolin, sitting down on the ground beside him, listening to what the Scyther had to say, looking up sharply at the mention of the PT virus. It was responsible for that crazy Weavile's powers that was doing so much damage. He listened patiently to Tolin's words, cursing Nico's father silently. Wiped his memories? Wiped them of a cure he had created? Sent fragments of the information all over the world? Good god someone out there just loved to screw with them. "How many pages are there? Are they all crucial?" he asked immediately. The number would rank this search anywhere between "God-awfully hard" to "Why don't we all just kill ourselves to make this easier?" He rubbed his forehead with a paw. "And do we have anything a psychic can use as a focus to find these?" Even powerful psychic types need a place to start their search for something. A piece of the book, the place it was written, the lab where the virus and cure was developed... And where the hell was Apollo when they needed him?

Tolin" Four. Four pages in all. As for the rest..." Tolin gave a shrug. " Like I said, the creator destroyed all the knowledge he had of the cure. He viewed the virus itself as a curse, so he wiped his own mind in order to prevent it from returning. We do know the location of a single page, though it's the most dangerous. Nico spread the pages across the lands, but there's likely one he has. He's living in the old ruins of the Fire and Ice guilds that existed in the past. He should be holding onto a page himself. If we collect the guilds and storm the ruins, we should be able to get it without too many casualties. It should serve as an effective enough focus to find the rest." Of course, it wasn't necessarily the best plan. Taking Nico's page would alert him to their efforts instantly, making the other three pages potentially much riskier to find. But... they didn't have the time to do otherwise. " We might have some luck by talking to Vito. He might know something we could use as a focus... hopefully it would let us avoid aggravating Nico before it was necessary."

Pluto Four. Thank gods it wasn't anywhere near a full notebook's worth of notes or something. Whatever this cure was, if it could be fit onto four pages it was hopefully relatively simple to synthesize. Pluto listened to Tolin's plans, grimacing as he considered the risks. "We have had the entire Guild fight him at once to no avail, on multiple occasions, and each time we had suffered heavy casualties." Pluto started, staring hard at the ground as his mind worked elsewhere. "I don't know if simply sending more Teams would be able to subdue him."He wracked his brain, trying to come up with a solution. "We should try when we are certain he is not inside. Perhaps have a psychic monitor the Ruins. Send in a small competent group, retrieve the page quickly and quietly..." He thought out loud, then shook his head. "No, we'll need more than just a few. There would probably be reanimated dead guarding it, knowing Nico."He sighed and got to his feet. "Yes, Vito...let's hope that he has something. Possibly Lucy, as they're related." He ground his teeth in frustration at the seemingly endless web they were tangling themselves in. "We should keep it quiet for now, only tell those that we need to. We don't want Nico to find out that we know."

TolinTolin shook his head. " That's even more risky. Nico doesn't sleep, doesn't eat and he doesn't meet with others. It might be weeks or even months before he decides to leave the Ruins again, and in all likelihood he'll march straight to a guild or a city to massacre everyone inside." Now that he thought about it, how much did Pluto know? He didn't know about the majority of the issues, only that the balance was degrading and it was a problem... It would explain his preference for a long-term plan. " The balance is sensitive now. If we wait for Nico to make a move it might be distorted even further. We don't have the time." He paused to try and examine the situation. Pluto's plan was the smart one. A team of Psychic's could get in and get out the fastest with the greatest possibility of success and the lowest possibility of injury. But the possibility of death was 100% if Nico was there. " I suggest a different plan. A core team would be effective, but Nico won't leave. I suggest we create a diversion. Gather the most powerful fire types in the guilds as well as a regiment of psychics. Have the hospital fully-staffed and on standby. We draw Nico out and hold him off. The psychics can get the injured back quickly and we'll be fighting a defensive battle." Powerful fire types, powerful fire types... That Charizard, possibly. Frost was... young. There were four fairly exceptional Flareon within the royal line that might be able to provide assistance... possibly Judgment? " Does the royal family have the Flame Plate within their possession? If we were to use it as a trump card for a retreat..." He shrugged. It was a risky plan that might very well kill quite a few people, but... It was better than anything else.

PlutoPluto glanced back up when Tolin mentioned the balance. He had only heard mentions of it here and there, warnings from many powerful sources...by the sounds of it it was much worse than he had thought. Damn it. He listened to his plan and sighed, nodding. "It's the best we can do." He murmured, shaking his head. "And no, the Flame Plate is still missing if I am correct."The leafeon looked over to Nova, who had stopped her work to listen to the conversation. "Nova, please find Minerva." He told the Roserade, who nodded and turned off the stove, vanishing in a sharp crack!

Tolin & Minerva" Damn." The Flame Plate would have been ideal. Nothing would affect Nico as strongly. It seemed like a quick burst of fire was the only thing significant enough to injure him for an extensive period of time. Killing him without the cure might not even be possible, but enough fire would make him retreat. Minerva blinked into the room. It hadn't taken Nova long to find her; the Roserade had known exactly where she was. All she had been told was that "Pluto is looking for you" without any real context, but looking at their guest... it was quite obvious. That Scyther seemed to be everywhere at everything; whether it was a meeting between the leaders or a private chat with a guild master. " Good afternoon, Tolin." She turned to her husband. " I take it something has happened, then?" If the Scyther was here, it was always something. He was there when Ebony attacked, he was there when the guildmaster's met, he was there to speak with Alfred whenever something happened... Trouble seemed to follow him; or maybe he followed trouble?

PlutoPluto turned as Minerva appeared, opening his mouth to explain when a loud sound screeched throughout the halls. He grimaced at its volume; it was the alarm. "Oh great." He mumbled. He turned to Tolin. "I assume you are going?"Pluto was staying here where it was safe, sort of (there was that time Nico raided the guild). Whatever the alarm was for, it usually meant a fight.

Tolin & MinervaOh, wonderful. an alarm. Just what he needed... And he was getting so close to actually being able to deal with personal matters. " Yes. Someone needs to make sure Solaris hasn't done anything stupid. He probably managed to catch wind of the pages somehow and has decided to march into the Ruins with whoever decides to show up." He shook his head. Solaris was frustrating. Alarms were frustrating. The guild was frustrating. He stood from his chair. " I'll form a quick report of what happens and I'll have it sent to you once the... event is complete." Minerva nodded at the proposition. A prompt report from a neutral individual at the front of the action would be good. " That would be useful. Thank you, Tolin." Tolin nodded. " Well, then. Have a good afternoon, Pluto. Minerva." The pendant still wasn't all the way contained.. he'd had to walk for now. He pushed the door back open and left, closing it behind him with a click.

VitoThe telltale coughing of Vito Bongiovi echoed through the halls as the old Weavile traveled down them. He had a small bag slung around his shoulder by a strap, and he had a napkin to his mouth. It was stained slightly pink from the occasional blood droplet he'd cough up. Grunting, he approached the door the the Royal Family's quarters and lifted a claw, knocking on it.

PlutoPluto looked up at the knocking, interrupting him mid-sentence. His guest, an old Manectric turned to look at the door as the Metang by the wall announced : "Psychic Scan failed- dark type detected. Visual scan initiating...processing...processing...visitor identified as Vito."Pluto straightened, remembering his conversation with Tolin and the old weavile's part in decoding the journal. "Valkist, you have my permission to find a team and take them with you to investigate the Eastern River." He told the Manectric, who nodded, recognizing that he was being dismissed. "Thank you, I will take my leave." The Electric type padded over to the door as the Metang opened it with a psychic. The manectric gave Vito a quick bow before vanishing down the halls, and the Leafeon turned his attention fully on the new visitor. "Come in, and speak quickly. I assume you came here for a good reason." Pluto told the weavile, a rare hint of anxiety in his voice. The stress has been getting to him, and he would be happy to finally be rid of Nico.

VitoVito nodded to the Manetric that passed him and turned back to the door. He cleared his throat and wiped his mouth a bit as he walked inside. "I felt I should give you an update on the cure," He said gruffly. "I was able to decode the first page of the journal, and we've already obtained the first ingredient." He then opened the bag he was carrying and reached inside. From it, he pulled a single flower. Any sensible Pokemon could identify it as a Gracedia.

PlutoPluto stepped forward to take a better look at the contents of the bag, and nodded in recognition when he spotted the pink petals and its peach centre. Gracidea. Thank goodness, these flowers are not too difficult to obtain. "That is good news. Do you know how much is required? I can send a team to obtain more from the Gracidea Gardens if you need a larger stock." He wished there was more he could do, but on the regard of Nico there was little in his realm of abilities and power. "And how goes the search for more pages?" He asked, hoping that this time when they find one he'd be able to organize the guild better. One guildmember, his nephew at that, was almost killed in their last attempt. Sacrifices must be made, but he'd like to minimalize what he can.

VitoThe Weavile cleared his throat again and replaced the flower in his bag. "I've already got my old crew working one harvesting as many flowers as we should need," He said. At least those stupid Sneasels were good for something. "As for the search for the rest of the pages, well... I've enlisted a little help~" Vito cracked a small smile. "As you may already know, Alfred's family is currently dwelling within the Sun Guild. They've agreed to help search for the other pages. I say we should have the location of the second within a few days."

PlutoPluto nodded, glad to hear that things were being taken care of. "I will make sure I am informed the moment the location of the next page is found. It will be a relief when we are finally rid of Ni-" Pluto had been doing extraordinarily well through his meeting with the Manectric until now, but it seems his seeming health could no longer hold together. He stopped talking when he felt pressure building his chest, and he gave out a series of violent, hacking coughs, which sent Nova the Roserade hurrying to his side, warm tea in hand and trying to help Pluto down the medication without drowning him. A small Chimecho hovered worriedly over them, and turned to Vito nervously. "I apologize, he's held off taking his medication too long this morning. If there's nothing more important then may I ask you to leave?"
