《♠Taroro ℕezumi♠》 ___________________________________________________________________ __ _ _ _ _ _ _ More work? Even though he was injured, the man never seemed to stop working and although the boy was glad that he had such a diligent 'assistant', he couldn't stand the fact that the Haunter wasn't giving himself enough time to relax. No wonder he was one of the best informants in the business. Plus it didn't require a lot of movement or any physical activities for that matter, except for his fingers, but work was still work. However, the boy found it hard to object to it, after all he had nothing else to do for the day either. It was probably the only thing that would allow the Haunter to pass his time today. Sighing, he had to give up on stopping the man from working. Although it led him to another problem, what was he going to do today? Besides looking after the Haunter, he didn't have much to do. His day was usually fully booked by his job at the cafe but since he was on leave for a few days, there was nothing to do.
Taroro placed the plate he was carrying, gently on the bedside table and blankly flopped down onto the bed next to the man, his eyes faced the ceiling. "There's... Nothing to do today..." The boy mumbled monotonously. There really wasn't anything to do, it was strange since he was always busy. So during times like these, he had no clue as to what he should do. The Rattata turned his head lazily, glancing at the Haunter who was busy typing on his cellphone.
His boredom was starting to get the better of him and his mind was simply conjuring up random thoughts. Honestly, he was still a little sleepy. Not getting enough sleep was probably the reason why. It just wasn't like him to be stuck in a situation like this. Mornings were always boring though, he had to agree. And even if the boy wanted to go out or do his own activities, he couldn't. He had to keep an eye on the Haunter, though he didn't think the man would be going anywhere for awhile with an injury like that. But just to be sure, he wanted to take care of the man personally. No servants, just him. It was probably for the best too, since he was going to have to work with this guy, for a very very long time. If the Rattata wanted to build up a good relationship and get on the man's good side, now was definitely the time to do it. "Hey, assistant," the boy called out, still in his monotonous tone of voice. "I'm bored." His eyes remained fixed on the man, waiting for a reaction of some sort. The boy wasn't expecting much though. For some reason, he just wanted to break the silence between them and from the sound of typing keys.____________________________________________________________________________ __ _ _ _ _ _ (( ; u ; Well I'm glad it's back now~ x3 <3))

"A trickster's smile" The Haunter reached over after a moment and picked up a sandwich, managing to get through a few bites before the boy spoke. He was tempted to reply then but his attention had suddenly been pulled back to his cellphone, a notification popping up on the screen. So, instead, he continued to eat his sandwich while he worked, finishing the first quickly enough and just barely finishing the second before the Rattata spoke again. Shin flipped his cellphone shut and put it back into a coat pocket, stretching after a moment, at least as much as he could. Truth be told, when the boy mentioned his boredom he had a completely different idea in mind of how to cure him of it, but it wouldn't have helped his wound much.
"Is that so," he replied, smirking a little deviously. Shin was going to do what he usually did and take advantage of such an open statement, but the wound in his side protested when he twisted just a bit, so he decided against that line of action for the time being. As bored as it made him, he needed to sit still, he was tired of not being able to move like he usually did. Instead, he blinked a little in surprise at the idea that came to mind, grinning a little playfully after a moment. "Why don't we play a game," he started, glancing over at the boy,"truth or dare?" It was a bit childish, but Shin was just that way at times. The boy was probably pretty used to it by now though.

《♠Taroro ℕezumi♠》 ___________________________________________________________________ __ _ _ _ _ _ _ Sitting up from his lazy position, he tilted his head slightly, "Truth or dare...?" The Rattata thought for a moment. He wasn't very familiar with the game. Although at the cafe, his staff mates tend to use him as the dare, so the boy wasn't completely oblivious to what it was. However, he did find the game rather childish when they did it, maybe this one was different? Taroro was bored anyway, so anything to rid of this boredom was very much welcomed. "Okay..." He replied a little uncertainly, crossing his legs together. With only two of them playing, they would probably have to take turns. And with this opportunity, the Rattata could squeeze out more about the Haunter. He wanted to know more about him, learn more about him. Although his mind told the boy that it was for working purposes, he found it hard to believe himself.
"You start," his tone was a little more enthusiastic than before. It was probably because he could use this opportunity to learn more about the man. Taroro would be getting some information for himself. And although he didn't show it, but he was actually pretty excited right now. The boy had so many questions he wanted to ask. Both about the Haunter and about what had happened from the gun shot until now. However, since the Haunter was injured, the boy figured that he should let the man start first and just in case he tried to get more info from the boy, he chose, "dare."

"A trickster's smile" "Hmmm...," he mumbled to himself, glancing around in thought. Truthfully, Shin wasn't too good at the game when people chose the 'dare' option. He was more interested in the truth and finding out things he didn't already know, or confirming some of what he did know. People didn't always tell the straight truth, but it was at least something he could work with. After all, he specialized in information, and whatever he was told was just that. But, the boy had chosen 'dare', and now he was having difficulties in coming up with one that wasn't either too extreme or too boring.
After taking a few moments to think, he decided to test the Rattata. He did enjoy 'pushing his buttons' after all, and he hadn't seen an 'adorable' reaction from him since last night."I dare you..." he started, sounding a little sly with a small smirk on his face, leaning a little closer to the boy,"to give me a kiss." The Haunter's smirk widened just a bit."If the 'young heir' can handle such a great task," he teased, his red eyes fixed on the Rattata's gold ones. Although he had said 'kiss', it didn't necessarily mean that it had to be on the lips. The boy could kiss him anywhere he chose, which was part of Shin's little 'test'. He was curious to see how the boy would react, and, where he would choose to kiss him, if he could muster the courage to do so. Shin waited patiently, as patiently as he could manage, waiting to see what the boy would do.

《♠Taroro ℕezumi♠》 ___________________________________________________________________ __ _ _ _ _ _ _ The Rattata blinked at the man's dare, staying quiet for a moment to think about it. "K-kiss...?" He said suddenly, stammering a little. Heat shot up to his ears and he pursed his lips, trying to calm himself down. The man was looking right into his eyes, making the boy feel awkward about the dare. When the Haunter said 'kiss', the boy didn't know that he was allowed to kiss anywhere else. His mind was in too much of a daze to think about it actually. For some reason, Taroro was starting to act differently around the man. He wasn't as serious and emotionless as before. It was strange, he didn't know how to cope with his new development and he didn't like how it felt.
The Rattata placed his palms onto the bed and slowly crawled his way closer to the Haunter, until he closed the gap between them, bending forward to get even closer. He couldn't refuse the dare, what fun would that be? And he wouldn't want to spoil the man's fun either. Besides, it would all be over in a second. The boy swallowed and glared at the man. His heart beat got faster and that same feeling from last night came over him again. He closed his eyes, inching his lips closer to the Haunter's, reluctant to go any closer. It seemed as though the moment took forever and as he felt the presence of the man's lips getting closer, the boy flinched and moved to give a peck on his nose instead.
Retreating back almost instantly, he glared at the man and turned away. His heart was still pounding and he took his time to catch his breath again. Why was he even nervous that the man asked for a kiss? Good thing it was over now. "A trickster's smile" Shin had expected the boy to kiss him on the lips, especially with how close he seemed to doing it. But, the sudden dart up and kiss on his nose took him by surprise. He blinked for a moment, but then leaned back and chuckled, the chuckle shortly turning into a genuine laugh. It was too cute, and unexpected, but also a pleasant surprise. His laughter took a few moments to calm down, doing so all the sooner because of his wound now aching at the vibrations. He winced a little as he spoke, still chuckling a bit, "Good enough." Shin had felt some of that tension from last night, but the laughter quickly made it dissolve before it could really affect him. He was a little grateful, because if it had affected him he'd probably just make his wound worse again.
The Haunter calmed down again by the time the boy asked the expected question, taking a moment to think to himself. He was tempted to choose 'dare', but the other option probably would've been more interesting, wouldn't it? "Truth," he finally said, leaning back against the bed's headboard and waiting for the Rattata's chosen question.

《♠Taroro ℕezumi♠》 ___________________________________________________________________ __ _ _ _ _ _ _ "Ah..." The boy dragged, turning his attention back to the man. Just what he needed, perfect. The Haunter had chosen 'truth' but there were so many things he wanted to ask the man. He could ask them one by one, considering the facr that they would probably be doing this for awhile. There was something he really wanted to know though, something disturbing him, since the first day they made their contract. However, he was afraid to find out the truth so he avoided asking it. The Rattata rested his finger over his mouth, thinking about a suitable question to ask the purple haired man. Something that wouldn't be too hard to answer but probably a little private, for fun.
It took the boy awhile, but he finally decided on a question. Looking up at the man, he smiled a little cheekily, unlike his usual self. "What kind of girls do you like?" It was kind of like a boy's thing right? Anyway, Taroro was sure Shin had some preference to girls. Aside from... what happened yesterday. Lets just say the Rattata decided to put that matter aside for now. They were both guys, so they had to have some preferences on girls. At least, he think he did. There usually wasn't any time for dating them though, so he really didn't know himself.____________________________________________________________________________ __ _ _ _ _ _

"A trickster's smile" He looked at the boy calmly for a moment, but only for a moment. Soon after the question was asked he had to cover his mouth with a hand to prevent himself from laughing. Shin wasn't sure why, but the question just hit him in a weird way and he couldn't help himself. It took him a minute but he finally calmed himself down again, thinking over the boy's question seriously for a moment. ""What kind of girls do I like...?" Hmm..." he mumbled to himself. Truthfully, he was drawing a blank. He'd never been much for dating, not even being able to recall a time when he had dated someone. Shin never got attached to anyone. The most he ever did was a have a few one night stands every now and then when he'd go out to a club or two here and there. He was always on the move, too much so for people to really keep up with him or too 'strange' for them to handle. That, and his work had always come first, as well as his search for 'fun' and 'entertainment'.
The Haunter finally looked back at the boy, tilting his head slightly. "I have no idea," he replied truthfully, "I've never actually dated anyone before. A one night stand, sure, but date? Nope." Shin answered truthfully. He didn't really have a reason to lie to the Rattata in the first place.

《♠Taroro ℕezumi♠》 ___________________________________________________________________ __ _ _ _ _ _ _ The answer wasn't shocking to the boy, he kind of expected it. Although that 'One night stand' comment did make him twitch. He pushed it to one side, trying not to get agitated by the answer from the man. Fidgeting with his earring, the Rattata sighed heavily, relieving the pressure he felt in his chest. To think the Haunter didn't have any preferences to girls. Well, that was a wasted question... Although he did learn one thing. The Haunter slept around. It kind of made the boy a little disturbed but he couldn't really tell why. Taroro glared at the Haunter with his usual cold stare. Now there was another question he wanted to ask but he would have to wait his turn again. Luckily, there were only two of them, so his turn would come again soon enough.
His eyes fixed on Shin, the man seemed pretty calm after admitting something so... private? Or was it? Maybe his question didn't give the man enough impact. In that case, he would have to think of a better one later. Taroro rolled his eyes at the thought, then glanced towards Shin's direction again. "Truth..." Now, he wasn't afraid to let the man know a few extra facts or two about himself. In fact, he felt pretty safe, unless the man came out with a completely unexpected question. Hopefully he wouldn't.____________________________________________________________________________ __ _ _ _ _ _

"A trickster's smile" Shin raised an eyebrow at the boy's stare, though he was pretty used to it by this point. He did have to stop and think for a moment though. What question would be good to ask his new 'boss'. He already knew the work-related things about him, as well as his daily schedule, so it had to be something else. Something aside from work. And, just as he thought he wouldn't come up with anything, a question came to mind. "What is the most meaningful moment you have had in your life?" he asked, looking back at the boy calmly. The Haunter was actually a bit serious, and curious, instead of playing his usual games. Though, that didn't mean that he wouldn't later. He found himself wanting to know a bit more about the boy, more personal things. Taroro probably wouldn't approve of it, he was pretty sure of that, but it never hurt to try. Well, actually, in their guess it kind of did. Shin had received plenty of bruises for his 'attempts' at pranks and scares.

《♠Taroro ℕezumi♠》 ___________________________________________________________________ __ _ _ _ _ _ _ Stunned by the question that the Haunter had just asked, he leaned back a little, his expression got a little serious. What moment was the most meaningful for him...? To the boy, the definition of 'meaningful' would be the moment that had to most impact on him. His mind drew a blank right now. There were so many moments he could fit under that category but one. One moment which totally changed the way he looked at things. One day that made him how he was today and that was the time his father turned a cold shoulder on him. The Rattata felt his heart sink just thinking about it and he looked down for a moment. Was he really going to tell the Haunter? Did he really want him to know about his past? He couldn't do it, even though he was supposed to tell the truth. "That would probably be..." He trembled, unsure if he should tell the man or not. " The time I found my first injured animal." It wasn't totally a lie, which made the Rattata less guilty for keeping quiet about his father. That event did leave a huge impact in his life. However, not as much as his father did.
Taroro remained emotionless, trying not to think about the past memory the Haunter had just triggered. Although yesterday, his father finally praised him. Wasn't that good enough? What the old man didn't know was, that it scarred the boy. Possibly, for life. He bit his lips, then looked back up at the Haunter, his expression changed. The boy presented a fake smile.____________________________________________________________________________ __ _ _ _ _ _

"A trickster's smile" He could usually tell when he was being lied to, he had to be able to do at least that much in his line of work. His 'boss' wasn't any exception to that fact, and the answer he got didn't sound like a full one. It had some truth in it, but he felt like it was missing something. Shin's eyes darted over the boy briefly, taking note of the trembling and then the smile. Whatever the Rattata was thinking about, it was obvious he was trying to hide it. But, he wasn't about to push the matter. As much as he enjoyed putting pressure on his clients at times, he didn't much feel like doing that to the boy, not right now, anyway.
"Truth," he finally said, his face still calm. The Haunter thought about choosing 'dare' this time, but the truth was turning out to be more interesting for the time being. He rested his arm back up on his knee after a moment, waiting to be asked a question.

《♠Taroro ℕezumi♠》 ___________________________________________________________________ __ _ _ _ _ _ _ Still feeling a little uncomfortable with the 'lie' he had just made, his smiled faded as he thought carefully about the question he was going to ask the Haunter. The question he previously thought of, that was what he was going to ask. He wanted to know the answer so badly, that it annoyed him. "Last night..." He glanced away before he continued, not wanting to make eye contact with the man. "Was I..." The boy stopped, he couldn't say it. It was either because he was too embarrassed to ask or he was having second thoughts about his question. Though it was most likely the awkward feeling that made him change his mind. "Ah, no. Forget it." The Rattata added bluntly before thinking again.
"Why do you enjoy your job so much?" Moving his thoughts away from the previous question he was about to ask. It probably wasn't the best time to ask it either. Or more like, it wasn't he best time for him to ask it. He was pretty much afraid of the man's reply. Taroro was feeling like such a wimp right now. Not physically but mentally. Physically, he was pretty strong for a boy of his frame. However, he didn't think he could stand any more emotional pressure... Not that he wasn't used to it, but for some reason, he could tell that it would hurt if it came from the Haunter.____________________________________________________________________________ __ _ _ _ _ _

"A trickster's smile" Shin blinked a little at the boy's first few words, raising an eyebrow curiously. But, the Rattata cut it off and decided to ask him something else, not that that helped his curiosity any. He leaned his head back after a moment, glancing up at the ceiling in thought. "I enjoy it because..." he started, glancing over at the boy again with a small smirk on his face, "I get some of the most amusing reactions from my clients. That and I'm free to do what I want with my job, not having to answer to anyone. Well, that's changed since a month ago, but you are plenty amusing so I don't really mind." Shin chuckled a little, leaning his head back up after a moment. "Truth or dare?" he asked, waiting curiously.

《♠Taroro ℕezumi♠》 ___________________________________________________________________ __ _ _ _ _ _ _ Blushing as soon as Shin made that last comment, the boy narrowed his eyes and glared back at the man, as always. He could just ring his hands around the Haunter's neck right now. As much as he was tempted to... He should have been pretty used to the man's teasing by now though. The Rattata decided to let it slide like he usually did. Truth or dare? That was a good question. Right now, he really didn't know which to choose. If he chose dare, who knew what the Haunter would make him do next? And if it was truth, then... He was afraid he would have to lie again and he didn't want to do that. It was a hard decision which took the boy some time to think over but he finally decided. "Truth," he said firmly. He wasn't going to lie this time, he promised himself. Unless he really had to, then that would be a different story. Taroro got a little tense, bracing himself for whatever question the man was going to ask him.____________________________________________________________________________ __ _ _ _ _ _
