"It exentuates your eyes and tattoo." he said honestly to her remark about what she was wearing. "You'll sleep on a bed, obviously, and come tomorrow or any day you're ready we'll go get what you need. I don't have a schedule or anything... not a job either. I go over to my sisters house every Sunday for dinner which you can choose to come to or stay here, at home. Just depends on what you want to do, but until I know you well enough, you'll come with. Sorry." He'd kept walking as he showed her around. "Now here is the downstairs bathroom. This also links to the back yard and this is where one would normally come in after getting out of the pool. I have a hot tub, too but its usually covered until winter." Terrance walked in and got out a few terry-cloth towels. "Here's one for your hair and one for you body. I'll go make lunch, when you undress just stick your clothes outside the door and I'll put them in the wash for you. I have a few selections of other clothing up stairs if you'd like to look at them, and yes, you are allowed to lock the door." And with that, he walked to the kitchen and began making lunch. What am I doing? He thought naively as he half-jogged back over to Romona, hoping she was't already in the shower.
"What are your preferences for lunch?"

As Nell explained her life, he nodded along, now figuring out why she was so startled to her freedom. By strict consequences, he didn't mean to beat or torture her, unless another did it while he was away, or if she had crossed one of the most unforgivable lines he drew. Then it was in question.

Now she was asking to know about him. What exactly was there to know? He was horrible at cooking, cleaning was an annoyance, but something he could do. Usually, maids and butlers took care of housing manners, and this was his first personal slave who was more or less going to be an attendant or lackey.

"I was born into wealth and have gone farther than either my parents expected, making my name one of the biggest in the country. I've had a couple hundred maids and butlers, but you are the first specific slave, and the first that's not human. I am twenty three years old, and thankful I don't have to teach you how to read or write. There isn't really much else to know."

Maybe he should have warned her to never wake him up before eleven o'clock? No, she'd learn eventually, and other workers in the manor would tell her like they would each other. Besides, she shouldn't have any business with him before that time ever. He pulled up to the gates that lead to his manor, which was surrounded by a garden, one that went all the way west through a maze to a gazebo by a lake. On the east side of the manor, there was another large building, one that could resemble a mansion, but it wasn't as fancy looking. To him, it was cheap. Directly north of his main "house" was a courtyard for the outdoor parties.

"To the east where the cheap building is will be where you sleep. You're free to go anywhere you want on the property when you are not working, but try not to break any statues or fall in the lake. I'll take you to your room later. For now, you can take a shower and change in my manor, and I'll give you a full tour of the property afterward."

"Something edible?" Her eyebrows went up with confusion, not particularly caring so long as it was food. So far, she had only removed her glove, socks, flats, and hair tie, her actual clothes still covering her body. As for spare clothes, she didn't mind what type they were, as long as they somewhat fit. Though, a man washing her bra and panties seemed odd, and a little embarrassing. Hopefully, he didn't mind too much.

"Just bring me down some clothes, I don't care what they look like, but try to make sure they could somewhat fit?" The shower was pretty nice, heck the whole house was. And until he could trust her? How long would that take? A week? A month? Hopefully not longer than that, Mona wasn't one for crowds. But hey, he was considerate enough to let her get a room where the wind would hit.

She stared at the building in front of her with awe in her eyes. "It's very... grand." was the only thing she could say. Normally she wouldn't say anything but he seemed to want her to talk, sometimes. "But that's only your back ground. What about your likes? What food do you like, what music, how do you spend your spare time?" She hoped asking these questions were allowed. Her ears perked up a bit when he said she could sleep in a building. She didn't care if it was cheap, the only buildings she'd ever slept in where the ones where she was trying to be sold, in cages.
"So... how many buildings do you have? Other then where you live and where your keepers sleep... wait... which building do you live in?" She asked curiously
He still hasn't yet told me my rules... Is that a trap?

He sighed, knowing Nell obviously wanted more than he preferred to let on. "I like sunny days and making money. Sweets aren't a particular favourite of mine, but I can hold them down when I need to. I'm fond of violins and don't usually have free time. When I do, I'm either sleeping or tending to the rose garden to the west. I forgot to mention there's a pool in the back of your building, as well as a hot tub. There's a small library in there, but you can also enter my library if you run out of books. "

Those were the basics of what he preferred over others, and his daily life. Keeping track of spendings, pays, businesses, the manor itself, not to mention attending and hosting parties, this man rarely had spare time to do whatever he pleased.

"Buildings? Well, excluding the manor, the workers' building, and my businesses, 15. But they are spread out through the country, some cottages, others studios. Including business, I own over one hundred. Most are hotels, but there's one that makes new appliances like cellphones, music players; really just another Apple. As for where I live, this building, right in front of us. It is my manor, the largest building I reside in."

Turning off the ignition, he stepped out of the car, circling around to open the door for Nell. He tossed the keys to another worker his parents had hired, wanting his ride to be put away in the garage. The building behind him was pure white stone that was cleaned to perfection, flower vines elegantly decorating some parts. By the outside, you could tell the place had around four floors, excluding the attic and basement located underground. Yes, Zane was wealthy, and adored to show it off.

Romona did have a habit to boss Terrance around, which he wasn't too fond of, but he'd talk to her about that during lunch.
When he went back over to the kitchen once more he got out three soft tortilla shells, a pancake pan, salami, shredded cheese, and cut pineapples. Tapping himself over to the radio, he turned on an XM station that he loved. Crying Lightening by the Arctic Monkeys was on that he started to dance to.

OOC: Sorry its a small post
That's not a problem. You only have a day to do it all, you probably should gret ready on it.

Nell could tell he liked to show off what he owned. The only reason she knew that was because she asked mainly about this one particular property. But he did answer her question so she wouldn't say anything.
I don't know what to say... she thought as she brought her left wing to her front and pet it gentally. It was something she was rarely able to do and when she did it gave her great comfort, since she really needed it at that moment considering she was scared to death. But she'd never let it show, fear only got her beat.
"Um.. Master? What are my rules?"
PostPosted: Mon Aug 09, 2010 11:51 am

"You may call me Zane if you wish. Master make it as though you're a prisoner." That's right, he forgot about the rules. Ah well, the ride was short anyways. Well, here was when he could warn her about waking him up early.

"First thing's first, don't ever under no circumstances wake me up before eleven o'clock in the morning. I work late, and will not hesitate to throw you out. Next, don't bother any other worker unless absolutely necessary. Don't speak to any guest unless spoken to first. Always maintain straight posture and look somewhat decent. Don't break anything, and don't object my orders. Lastly, you will attend any and all events I host or attend, no questions asked."

Those were basic rules, and he expected them to be followed. Inside his house he had various breakable objects that were rare, irreplaceable, and cost millions, so if she broke them, it would be hard to maintain his cool. But really, the other workers were humans, so they might pass out if a dark angel began speaking to them, especially if she was technically ranked below them.

"Hey! Sorry if I sound bossy! Just how I am! Ignore it, since I'm usually joking around!" Calling back to the guy, merely wrapped in a towel, the shower running, she doubted he heard over the music. It wasn't like she was that snobby, it just came to her naturally. One minute bossy, the next playful. She couldn't exactly help it much. Dropping the towel, the blonde entered the shower in bliss, glad to get the grime off of her. Eventually she stepped out, feeling much better than before.

"Nothing like a shower! I wonder what Terrance made anyways, smells pretty good..." Merely speaking to herself, Mona dried off, dressing in the clothes that had been brought. They were a little big, but they'd do since they were comfy. Exiting the bathroom, she followed her nose to the kitchen, not entirely remembering the layout, greeting the boy as she walked in. "Thanks a lot for the shower and food! I feel great!"

Didn't he tell me earlier to call him either Zane or Master? She shook her head in confusion as she listened to the rules. It sounded like she was back to the quiet abyss. The rules were fine with her, but something worried her a bit. It was quite a large house and she was bound to get lost. She wasn't sure what her duties were to be, if she was going to be around other people or not. And, what was she going to do if he wasn't there? Nell, all her life, had been dragged around by her owners, around them all the time, it had basically been a broken record, slave or not, she was dependant on her owners. Now she comes to Zane, and hes basically telling her to do her chores and be a good little girl just like she was a daughter or something. He turned her world upside down.
"So... you're rarely going to be around?" That bit worried her the most.

"Hmm... I might have better sized clothes somewhere around here. Anyway. I'm glad you enjoyed the shower, you're sparkling now. Lunch is almost out, I hope you like mexican pizza!" He chuckled as the timer buzzed. Getting the oven mits, he took out the pancake slate that had three circles on it. "I didn't make any pepperoni, I made just plain cheese, pineapple, and salami. Salami sounds a little weird, but don't worry. It's good. In all truth, I didn't know what you wanted so I made a few. Each tortilla makes about four slices. It's quite filling actually." he said as he met her around the counter and pulled out a chair for her, turning down the music. "So. Tell me your thoughts." he said as he got out a little knife and began cutting away.
PostPosted: Mon Aug 09, 2010 11:56 am

"I'll be around, usually in the same room as you work, but I will also be working. When I tell you to run errands, or put things away, I won't follow you, which is when you would most likely ask the help. So memorize the place before trouble occurs." Turning around as he explained, he let her stretch her wings and pet them as she pleased before entering through the front door.

The interior was much more extravagant than the exterior; marble floors, high ceilings with art hung here and there. A large chandelier hung from the ceiling, made out of diamonds, glass, and gold as per usual. Two staircases spiraled to their sides, leading to the different wings. Rooms lined the hallways with large gaps between the doors, signaling how much space each room was given. Everything was polished and dusted, but that didn't stop Zane from stepping onto the floors with dusty shoes. He led Nell through the house, not bothering with any tours, going up the stairs to the second floor where a bathroom was.

"You can shower here, clothes will be sent to you before you finish. Afterward, we'll have lunch and begin discussing your starting pay, job details, and upcoming events."

His smile remained as he left her to the bathroom, towels, soap, shampoo, lotion, shaving items, and other necessities most girls needed already placed inside and conveniently in sight.

She had a question that she'd ask him later when she saw him. The house was marvelous, he definitely wasn't shy either. When he left her Nell checked the bathroom to make sure no one was in there. When she said she'd had abusive owners before, she wasn't meaning only physical. Perverts where out there too. Nell could vividly remember one that liked to smile as he beat her at night... she shook her head, removing the scene from her mind.
When she knew the place was clear, she locked the door and checked the room one more time, just out of paranoia. When she finally stopped with checking the room and collected the items she needed, she stripped herself of the dress she was wearing and spread her wings once more, thankful that the room was large. She wasn't standing dead in the center, she only knew because there was plenty of room on her right side, and her left side was up against the wall by a few inches.
Nell did have OCD about a few things. Herself, and food. She couldn't have her food touching and she HATED to be covered in dirt, soot, oil, grime, slime, or anything else disgusting. Before she turned on the shower and stepped in Nell sat down on a towel and pulled her wings around her, huddling in her midnight blankets, as naked as the day she was born. Everything was so upside down now.. she almost liked it better with her last owners. Then at least she knew what to expect. She could predict all her other owners, even when she first met them. But Zane scared here. He had a sense of strike in his air, like he would attack if a minor thing was done. His walk was too graceful, he almost slithered, like a snake. He was trying too hard when he smiled that fake grin. But he did own her now, and she did have to obey his rules. Sophia knew she was going to screw something up though, and it scared her to think of what the punishment might be for that. A whipping? That seemed more like his type, but she still just couldn't tell.
Turning on the shower and stepping in, she was thankful that the shower was large enough for her wings, barely, to extend just large enough for her to get the shower spray on her feathers. Watching as the oil and dirt slid off them and down the drain. Picking up the lavender scented shampoo, she lathered up her hair and scrubbed her scalp till she could feel it and her finger tips burning. After rinsing her hair and then cleansing her enormously long hair with conditioner, lavender again, she picked up the soap and scrubbed her wings squeaky clean. Getting in every hairline and every crevice and every crack. There was an oil that produced at the root of every feather on her being that warded off ticks, fleas, parasites, ants, basically any bug you can think of. So she was always pest free... I should probably tell Zane about that she thought with a giggle as she rinsed her feathers, shaking them until they rustled up like a baby birds. When she was finally all new and clean, Nell turned off the shower and grabbed a towel, staying within the shower, and started to dry off her wings. It didn't take long for those to dry, all she had to do was dab the water droplets out. Other then that shaking pretty much did the job. Using the same towel, she dabbed at her body until she was dry, wrapping herself in it, with her wings outside the towel, and wrapping her hair up as well in a second towel. Rubbing in the lotion on her cleanly shaved legs and looking around for a hair brush and tooth brush with toothpaste. She loved that everything was so easy to find. Combing out her hair that was no longer filled with knots and brushing her teeth. When was the last time she felt like this, or even had a moment of living like this? Never... She had no idea when things would be going back to hell, but as long as she was in heaven, she was going to try her damn hardest. Sophia didn't normally try for her masters, but if she once messed up for Zane, she'd do the punishment herself... or just take it without complaining.
"Oh no," she thought in horror as she put everything back to where it should be, other then the towels, but keeping the brush and toothbrush in her hands. "The clothes!" what if who ever he sent up didn't have her size, or what if it wasn't an open backed cloth? Goodness....
PostPosted: Mon Aug 09, 2010 11:58 am

Sophia tried much too hard and was obviously desperate for him to always be there. Dependency was going to kill her in this manor. But, hopefully he didn't come off too strong. His smile was generally good at keeping others calm, even if it was phony. But, what punishments could he actually use that would still be civilized? "I'll figure them out later. She should be done by now, I sent the maid to her with an open back dress for those wings. She seemed small, so it should fit.."

Completely at ease, he sipped his instant tea as he was horrible at making just about anything. Another cup sat on the opposite end at the table with plates of mini sandwiches, scones, pastries, and fruit sat. They were the easiest thing to get a hold of for lunch, so if Nell didn't like, it was too bad for today.

"Hey, I am sorry about before. Ordering people isn't really my thing, but it sometimes happens. Ignore it, 'cause I'll be joking most of the time anyways!" The food looked great, and she couldn't wait to eat! How lucky was she to get such a slack man who would take care of her? Wondering about the others, Mona prayed they weren't stuck with some dark, evil creep. But as for reality, what were her thoughts? She didn't really have any...

"My thoughts huh? Well, I guess I'm thinking about finally having a decent meal! But other than that, not much really. What about you? Happy with your pick?"
