nodding his head in aprovel of the task he looked over toward zing"you up to it pal"zing hesitated for a moment then after nodding his head to the side he said"if that's what we have to do then i guess"looking back at bahamut rook said"i can promise you our best in defeating them though i must know two things first.one do you whish for thier death or arrest and two..."rook hesitated for a moment"my father went by the name gruntar vinal,did you by any chance know him while he was still living among other dragons?"rook had thought this was going better than it could have been and his question was one to answer wheather or not his father was known for fighting or anything else.

Tiamat rubbed her talons together.
"Vinal...I believe I've heard that name before. But the details escape me since it speaks of a house outside our province.
Perhaps...Jormungand of the terra kingdom north of ours would know. Thus far, he is the only dragonlord with the body of a foriegner."
Bahamut laughed at Rook's question.
"Our kingdom has no prisons. Our kind are much harder to corrupt than humans, but when we do fall to immoral ways, only the gods themselves could possibly sway them."

when tiamat answerd rook said"well then i supose i'll have to pay him a visit,thatnk you for pointing me into the proper direction"then turning back to bahamut he replyed"i'll take that as a kill them then.i believe we are done here,come on zing"rook gestured for zing to follow and the both payed a respectful bow and headed for the large door.

rook was not surprised at sky's absence and excited the way they had entered with zing with him.rook and zing transformed into there dragon forms and flew in a northern direction looking for a gap.
after flying for a while rook spotted what looked like a deep pit but streched a long way and he couldnt even see the ands of it at his altitude"well zing we might as well start here"rook said and landed at the edge of the gap transforming while zing did the same.with a quick upward motion of his fist rook and zing desended to the bottom on a tower of rock that acted as an elevator.stepping of the rock that then rapidly ascended to it's former place rook called out"were looking for two dragons going by the names,the shadow of the crusader and the pure flame"rook looked around,he and zing had enterd in human form as a battle tatic of deseption

"rook!what happened"zing called out
"dont really care but i think you should search that side and i'll search this side,just give a signal if you run into trouble".rook turned and yelled"if that was supposed to scare us than you better get back to the drawing board pal"rook could tell that the avalanche wasnt natural
"ok"zing called back and started in the only available direction.

Rook continued to search high and low, but hadn't a clue how to find a dragon, as large a creature as it may be, in such a large desloate area.
He then started to notice the air around him was different. Was it a bit chillier? Then he noticed that he had found a series of caverns among the cliff walls. Curious he hadn't noticed them until just now.
Zing stepped carefully among the floors. The cracks in the earth glowed red as fresh magma about a mile below flowed freely. He was so fixated on avoiding the tiny fissures, he didn't realize he was walking into a massive ruins site until he bumped his head on a low hanging pillar.

"snow i can handle but i hate the could with no upside"rook said as he walked into an icy cavern.lifting a hand he leat a stream of flames burst from it and then calm down so he was carrying a fire ball"good for heat,light,and if nessecary battle"rook said to himself as he countined to search the cavern
zing got up slowly from the ground and looked at the piller he hit"stupid rock!"zing yelled even though he very well knew it wouldnt respond.he activated his super vision abiliy hear and walked around paying attention to every detail there was.

Zing's ears picked up a small dripping noise as he walked inside. Was that running water he could hear beyond the darkness?
Rook proceeded forward....but something didn't seem right.
The light that came from his flame was erratic, as if it was leaning away from something.
What could his flame tell that he couldn't?

i'd love to be able to control the water right nowthought zing as he headed toward the dripping with his hand on his cross bow rather then his sword
noticeing his flame acting wierd rook experimented a bit,he fired off three balls of fire infront of him and tensed his conection to the ground to feel vibrations,he then focused on the ice as well to feel other vibrations.

The minute the fire left his hand, it disappeared. As if it were swallowed up.
Rook's body felt uneasy. Was it getting colder in here?
A red light could be seen. As Zing stepped out he saw before him a river....of lava.
No bridge....and it was too low to fly across.

(do you mean to wide cause i dont see how it can be too low to fly across)
zing just sat there pondering.then he noticed a peticularly large rock on the other side.tying some rope to the back of an arrow and loading it in the cross bow zing shot at the rock ang hit right at the top,the rop was too high for any burst of flames to scorch it so zing fastened the other end to a rock near him and quickly balanced on the rope and ran across the river of lava.
by now rook was irratated,he was tired of all this mystery.holding up a fist and then lifting up two fingers side by side(not peace sign)he shot several bolts of lightning down the tunnel,not being of fire the would be ffected by cold,and water being conductive anything along those lines would feel very unpleasent at contact.

The flash revealed the cavern. And in it, were a swarm of fanged bat-like lizards.
Fire eaters, creatures that lived off of heat. And the only source of heat thus far, was Rook!
After crossing the lava, Zing couldn't proceed further. There looked something like a door embedded in the wall. But it wouldn't budge.
There were some writings in Draconian enscribed above the door. A clue perhaps?

zing peered down at the writings but couldnt make them out since he didnt know any draconian,he sat there studying the marking's
rook just lokked at the swarm of disgusting creatures,rook wasnt cold blooded in the medaforical sense of the word so he moved on,if they tried making him thier snack then he would freeze every watter molocule in there bodies and if that failed they would have a shocking surprise ahead of them.
