Watashi wa Luna So...Of the people who liked it. What did you find the funniest? I like Mars and Jupiter! They were great xDD I just saw the series, and I give it 8 out of 10. It was (mostly) amazing! "It's Darien Sheilds, the guy I'm stalking on Facebook!" xDD I love that part! I love Artemis, Mars, and Beryl....you have to love Beryl. xd xd

GS Sailor Pallas its good to take a step back and just laugh at your own fandom I think. They just took the most obvious character trait and maxed it out to the extreme to be funny while also giving sometimes witty observations about them. SMA is mostly making fun of the DiC dub in particular. if you watch the DiC dub, they DID make Usagi talk more about food, the made Rei more of b***h, and Makoto more masculine. Couldn't have put it better myself.

I just saw the Yu-Gi-Oh abridged (first two eps) today. Funny stuff... I think I might watch the originals now. XD
How many versions of SMA are there? What kind of content is in each one? I don't want to mess with the one with the eating habits/ etc. because many of those issues hit too close to home to me. I had friends in high school who went through those problems, and they'll be the first to tell you none of that is funny.
Also, what other anime have been abridged?

-Wedding Peach
-Yu-Gi-Oh! GX
-Neon Genesis Evangelion
-Sonic X
-Naruto (and also the Abridged Comedy spoof show, done by LittleKuriboh, who did the original Yu-Gi-Oh! Abridged.)
-Fruits Basket
And those are just the ones worthy of mentioning. There's practically one for every anime show. And some of these have been abridged more than once, like Bleach.

I started watching it a few months ago and it is very funny.
It's always good to take a view steps back from something you love and learn to find the humor within it.
The best part about it is how it makes fun of the DIC dub it's self.

I loved PGSM hell! It was amazing!
I like SMA because it's all about fun. The creators are die-hard Sailor Moon fans. They do this for fun. They aren't to be taken seriously. They're just promoting Sailor Moon in their own way.
