 Ayumi hadn't noticed a small group following Mystral. It dragged behind them, but they were still fast enough to get her. "Holy s---!! Where the hell are these guys coming from!?" She cried out irritably. There wasn't anything around her this time besides a nearby bench and a potted plant. She looked around to check stores for potential "weapons" and the like. An oriental store was only a few paces to the side. Biting her lip, she made a quick run for the place holding the Krabby even tighter on her back and set her in a corner before slipping behind the counter and swiping a sword. It was wrapped, but it didn't need to be unsheathed for this situation. Ayumi was out like a bullet after seizing the item. Pure adrenaline powered her small frame for she didn't have an ounce of strength to beat anyone down otherwise. The sickening crunchcrunchcrunch and the unsettling squish made the Kangaskhan's stomach turn, but she wasn't going to let Mystral or the Krabby get hurt.
Her arms were sore by the time the last of the small group were done. It wasn't a lot, but a small group only meant more were coming. She ran back to take the Krabby on herself again, then hurried toward Mystral. "Hey, is that all of them?" She stared below at the thinning group of zombies below, then suddenly she felt movement on her back. The little Magikarp was weeping. "Hey, hey, are you alright, kid?"

  and maybe....you're gonna be the one that saves me...
Salem wasn't paying attention until the vaporeon began to get annoyed. Hell, anyone would lose their calm in this situation. He sighed and replaced the pistol into his belt. He was more than certain that the umbreon could handle the incoming zombies, though he had figured the rattata would help Silas. It was of no consequence, however.
Salem lifted up one end of the table. "I don't know anymore than you do," he said, despite the fact that the question probably didn't need an answer. Salem was tired, and just wanted this to all be over. He wanted to wake up and have it all have been a bad trip. Or something a little more manageable. But alas, that would never happen. This was reality now.

 _______✖ ✖ ✖ Ｍ Ｙ Ｓ Ｔ Ｒ Ａ Ｌ++++++++++++++++++++++++__________Mystral was scared as hell. She continued to run. Her feet carrying her through the mall. Trying to outrun the zombies. Fear filled her crimson eyes.
__________Slowly, she became tired. Her speed decereased as her legs became tired and weary. Mystral began to pant, out of breath. She stopped for a
__________moment, glancing over her shoulder. Seeing the dead faces of the zombies that were making their way to her. Then, hands were placed on her. A
__________disgusting, rotting breath fell onto the nape of her neck. Scared, she turned around. Seeing five other zombies, reaching to her.
__________Mystral turned around and saw the zombies that were chasing her were now reaching to her. She would scream in terror. But she couldn't. Mystral felt
__________the zombies, trying to bite her and spread the virus. Trembling, she sank to the ground. Unnoticed. A little zombie child reached for her. She slipped
__________out of the group of moaning zombies. She then sprang into a run and rushed through the mall. She needed help. Mystral continued to run. The
__________zombies realized at the Drifblim gijinka was running away, they gathered together and dragged themselves after the mute.

Before the Magikarp could answer, Ayumi noticed Mystral was still running and there were a lot more creatures after her. S---! She can't talk, so I didn't know that was happen'. Ayumi was tired and she couldn't leave the Magikarp, so she called out to the ones down below her. The guys may have been preoccupied, but she couldn't do this alone. Fighting wasn't her thing. After all, she was used to writing and drawing new chapters, not chasing crazy flesh-eating monsters. "HEY! Can someone help us! We've got a mob up here!" Ayumi saw Mystral run frantically and worried. She didn't know if she could help Mystral and keep an eye on her companion. It didn't seem like there was anything else around her, so she chose to help Mystral while she could. "Hang on!" The little mangaka dashed off, leaving the Magikarp for the time being. In her head, she was hoping the guys with guns would come up. She didn't know how long she could keep this up.

Anyone with no confidence or courage would be crying right now, which was why the Krabby was falling apart. She had no idea what to do, all her paranoia was much worse than it was any other day & she had a reason for that. As soon as she was left alone her sobbing only became worse being left alone to potentially be feasted on & reached out to the woman only to miss & fall to the floor. As moans & groans & gurgles were heard she jumped to her feet, inching backwards until she hit the railing while trembling profusely. Her head snapped to the right at the sound of footsteps, unsteady ones, running toward her, yet another stray, & she was yet again immobilized until it was practically hanging over her with it's mouth agape. She heard more footsteps as she struggled with the one on her & in desperation kicked the zombie up & over her to fall to the first floor, but not without somehow flipping herself over the railing as well.
Luckily for her quick reflexes she caught one of the metal rounded railings, left to dangle from there until she realized something. If there were people below her, they'd be able to see... Her face grew a bright red as she shut her eyes tightly, while shooting a hand down to her dress bottom to cover anything that could be seen below. But that only made it harder for her to hold on & the sound of groaning made her eyes shoot back open to see the zombies above her getting close to her hand, as fear struck her she let go not wantig to be bitten, but seconds after realized she would probably die from this fall or else be severly injured & let out a fearful screech as she plummeted to the 1st floor.

It was now clear that while they had been securing the first floor, the zombies had made their way to the second and it had gotten out of control. Worse yet, they seemed to be attacking some girls who were obviously scared. He heard one of them call out for help. Salem turned around just in time to see one of them fall to the ground on the first floor.
"Christ," he said under his breath, this was getting hectic. He was unsure whether to check on the krabby or assist the other girls. Both were clearly dire situations. He finally decided that he would be more useful gunning down zombies than offering assistance with injuries he knew nothing about. He ran up the escalator to the second floor and looked around.
It seemed the Drifblim was in a bad situation and in pretty desperate need. His aim wasn't perfect, so shooting down the zombies around her was pretty out of the question unless he wanted to risk hitting her. He pulled up the shot gun and began ramming the butt of it into some lifeless skulls. The crowd was thinning, but they were still on her as fast as their lifeless bodies could go.

"He's a beautiful monster" "You're a knife, sharp and deadly"  
Silas was helping to carry the air hockey table until a scream caught his attention, a girl's scream. A scream like that wouldn't come from a zombie, he'd seen enough of the movies to at least know that much. That was about the time the Sableye took off and the table dropped with a thud. The Vaporeon's mood just decreased even further and he let go of the table, sending a light kick at it out of frustration. "Ah what the hell," he more or less said to himself, running out of the store and making his way over to where the sound of the scream had come from. The zombies that had been attacking the group of guys seemed to be thinning rather nicely for now and was almost taken care of, so he didn't bother worrying about the Rattata, and especially the Umbreon, who seemed to manage fairly well on his own.
Silas finally found the cause of the scream laid out on one of the mall's stands in the middle of the walk way. It cushioned her fall so she didn't die, but she'd definitely be feeling that one as soon as she woke up. He made his way over to her, trying to reach her from the side of the stand, sending a hand out to nudge her arm. "Hey, girl, wake up. I don't care if you did just fall from another story, I know you're not dead and now's not the time to be sleeping," he said, even more annoyed than earlier. It wasn't a good idea to lose his temper, but he couldn't help that he was starting to. With all that was going on, it was really starting to wear on him a bit.

For the second time within that day she passed out, but this time from the impact of crashing into a stand. It seemed like forever, but a voice & shaking woke her, & she shot up thinking it may be a zombie only to cringe from the excrutiating pain in her body & looked to her side to see an angry looking Vaporeon. In fear she scooted off the stand & backed away a little. "S-sorry..." She didn't really know what he was so angry over, but she apologized anyway not wanting to be lashed at & for a moment thought the whole zombie apocalypse was just a dream. That thought didn't last as moaning & growning noises caught her ears. So it was real ater all. It was a little hard to breathe with the pain coursing through her body, but she dealt with it not wanting to bother anyone over her petty problem that was her own fault to begin with. Unsure of what else to do her eyes cascaded to the floor while she bit her lip nervously while also trying to hold in any tears that brimmed her eyes & her hands clenched at her petticoated dress so it puffed out a bit.

An unsettling thud caused Ayumi to spin around. The Krabby had disappeared. She rushed to the railing and saw that she had landed harshly, but in a place where she would be alright. Damn it, I better get down there, but... She looked back at Mystral and breathed deeply. Someone was definitely coming, right? Ayumi convinced herself that it was true and darted off toward the driflblim as quickly as she could and slammed her wrapped weapon over a few of the heads. I guess owning a gun would've been a better idea than I though, the Kangaskhan thought to herself, then she saw a slim guy bashing through the monster's head. Ayumi took her sword and stabbed it with as much force as she could, skewering a number of bodies together and pulled the stick back out.
Up ahead was another small group. A group of them were gone now, but the ones closest to Mystral were still groping for her. She looked over at the Sableye hoping that he had a lot more energy left than her. She was nervous now.

Silas blinked a little at the Krabby, a little taken aback at her response. She was apologizing? Now? It also looked like she was about to cry. How was he supposed to deal with someone like this? It wasn't the time or place to have some sort of break down, even if things were happening so quickly. He was about to reach his last nerve. "Run over that way until you see two guys, one's a slim Rattata and the other is a trigger happy Umbreon, they'll help keep you from getting attacked," he managed to get out without shouting, pointing in the direction that he had come from. Even if this was a zombie apocolypse, it didn't mean that he would react like those typical actors in those movies he'd seen. He was annoyed, frustrated, and had plenty of it to take out on something, and that something was a batch of reanimated corpses at the moment.
The Vaporeon ran off towards the elevator, leaving the Krabby to, hopefully, follow his instructions. There seemed to be a lot of commotion coming from the second floor. He got in the elevator and headed up. Once the doors slid open he immediately took notice of the stream of purple hair swaying around in the mass of grotesque figures. 'So that's where he went,' he thought to himself, running forward to help the Sableye and two girls out of the mess they were in.

Thea didn't really bother to look at the guy much only long enough to see where he pointed & didn't move until he was gone. His anger made her too nervous to do anything & instead was stuck in place holding her breath afraid she might do something wrong even if she felt she had already done something wrong as it is. After he left she slowly started walking the direction pointed until she saw the two people described to her. Unsure of what to say or do she just stood there nervously, looking over the array of corpses that were lifeless now, there were more in the distance it looked which caused her to draw nearer to the two. The Krabby was desperately wishing Aefes would show up, wherever he was, & that he was okay. She didn't know how much mor eof this she could take. With fear eating at her, & dealing with horrible pain from falling just moments ago, she really felt like she was a curse. An idiot. Nothing but a burden.

Either bringing more trouble or more aid. The boy panted out as he hit hard on a zombie that had made a slash right in his face, barely dodging it. He turned around, noticing that a red haired girl was sent their way by the Vaporeon. She was just standing there, without any form of protection what so ever. Personally, the boy was furious. How could someone just stand there and do absolutely nothing while their life was on the line? "Tch."
However, he couldn't just let her stand there like an exposed target for the mindless creatures. The Rattata checked that the Umbreon had everything under control on his side, before briskly making his way to the girl's side. If she didn't have anything to hit and bash with, maybe she could use her fists like how he dealt with things before. "Hey." he called out, his expression was straight and serious. The girl seemed to be nervous about something but he couldn't blame her. After all the invasion did happen rather suddenly, it would only be normal if you panicked in a situation like this. "Do you know how to kick and punch?" Staring at the girl with his golden eyes, then glancing over her shoulder. The zombies were getting closer, she would have to answer the boy as soon as possible.____________________________________________________________________________ __ _ _ _ _ _

She cringed everytime the sound of bones broke & bodies hit the floor. The Krabby, a creature that was supposed to be a fierce creature, was pretty much useless in this situation & she knew it. Her own fear rendered her no better than just bait for the undead. The more she let herself think over it, the more lowly she started to think of herself & the more she thought it may be better just to give herself up so she didn't weigh anyone else down. But her squeezed shut eyes that were wet from tears shot up from a voice calling to her, apparentally asking if she was useful at all. The red head looked away with a pained expression. "No..." As she admitted this she quickly added on. "I'm sorry I'm useless..." Mainly because she knew it was true. She didn't understand how everyone else could just fearlessly take out the zombie's.

The girl looked like she was about to cry and the boy didn't have a clue what to say or how to console her. Before he could ask anything else, the lifeless monsters from behind the girl started to attack. Clenching his hand tightly around the golf club, he quickly pushed the girl to one side and beat down the zombie with his weapon. It happened in a heart beat and the boy was relieved that they were both safe. But it wasn't over yet, there were more. Without taking his eyes off the incoming zombies, he spoke, " Sorry, but you'd better toughen up and learn right now." He knew his voice sounded cold but he couldn't talk properly because of the pressure he was in. The girl didn't know how to fight and the men eating zombies were closing in quickly. He threw the gold club onto the ground, hoping that the girl would catch on. Hopefully, it would protect the girl and his fists would be sufficient enough for the time being. Even though he was reluctant to leave the useful weapon, he was sure the girl needed it more than he did but now, he would have to get his hands dirty again. Quickly, he glanced around to search for anything he could use for the time being. Nothing. Only his bare hands and the pocketknife he held in his other hand. Ayumi was skewering another set of zombies when she heard the ring of a nearby elevator. Her head swung in the directions of it as a Vaporeon slipped out. She sighed with some relief. Other people were around. The Khangaskan shoved over the bodies on her bloody weapon. The wrapping was cheap and blood seeped onto the sheath of the blade. I wonder if I have to pay for this later. Ayumi's eyes fell down toward the hilt where the price tag hung loosely. Her eyes bugged in an instant and she tore the paper away. Price tag? What price tag?"
Ayumi averted her focus back to the situation at hand. She kept her movements low and steady to avoid losing any more energy. Guns were a lot better than a stick in unlearned hands.
