"Leave scarecrow, I'll deal with him and make an example of him. And like I told you before, if you simply cooperated with me I wouldn't have taken such agressive measures. Do not worry..once my conquest is finished you can have your syndicate back." He looked to scarecrow. "I assume you've calculated all the possible punishments you'll recieve for thi mutiny..." His eyes blazed purple.

I watched as the drones took away my apprentices Michael and Salem's Knight. I did not worry for I knew that they could handle themselves. Michael being able to transport them to any location whenever the time was needed, meaning they were in no true danger... On the other hand I wasn't safe. I now stood with Darkseid's menacing face not too far away from mine.
No one was helping my cause. Even Ragady. She was truly in favor of anything I said, but she knew it was best to stay neutral. Maybe it was best for me to just surrender? But, I'm usually not one to give up. I usually know when it's logical to give up, but I was one who was known not to back down on my ethics... I put a finger to my chin as I pondered the consequences, and I decided that it was best to back down, "Darkseid, I see now that I am truly out numbered. If I were to fight you it would be completely pointless and illogical."

Ragady stepped forward then.
"I will put in my own personal request for you to spare him. Do so, and I will move from watching on the sidelines, to actually assisting you should you need it. Consider it a favor to me, that I will repay the moment you should ask." Ragady proposed on his behalf, face and voice devoid of emotion. She was not afraid. If Darkseid killed her, she knew full well the Shadow Force would revive her, even if it would mean her being further connected to it, further a part of it, and if it came at a price. She would have to return more frequently, have less freedom, and no longer be able to lie, is what she guessed from her observation of other creatures attached to it. Ragady was not afraid of Darkseid, he was nothing to her.

But right now he held in his hands one of the only lives she did care about, which to be honest was one of the only ways someone who did not really exist in her eyes, would finally be truly noticed. She cared nothing for his goal of world conquest. Such things did not interest her. But she would assist him if it meant sparing the life of the Scarecrow.

Darkseid contemplated for a moment. "I shall leave crane in your custody then ragady....but if he acts out like this again..if ANY of you act of like this...I shall personally kill you myself...understand?"

His eyes flared as he fired his omega beam at Scarecrows followers, destroying them. He then walked over the Crane and grabbed him by his neck. "Do not test me, boy." He began to walk to the exit of the room, only to fling crane in a random direction while leaving.

((OOC: Did he give you permission ooc to destroy his assistants? Because if he did not, that would be god-modding right there. Seriously folks, this is not the first instance of this I have seen in this rp. So, will someone please explain to me, are we doing killing allowed in this rp? And if so, you are aware that it's still a good idea to have a two-three post minimum lead up before you kill them, right?

Here's an example from an actual rp in a killing allowed play by post rp website:
Brand new OC comes up to the Joker on a rooftop, her very first post being her "sexily" walking up to him, interrupting him mid speech to Nightwing, and declaring that they should kill Batman and run away together because she loves him.

Joker's post: Sweeps her off her feet, holding her like you would a lover over the edge of the building.

Her post: Looks lovingly up into his eyes.

Joker's Post: "My dear, I have been waiting all this time for someone like you to-" Joker drops her off the side of the building, giggles madly, then goes back casually to his speech to Nightwing.


There's my absolute favorite example of all time. And note, that even then, she probably could have saved herself by doing something like catching herself on an edge or, well, something.

Then there are my own death traps, which I have implemented even on this site. Even those, I give a minimum of three posts describing the trap as it it slowly falling into place, giving them plenty of chances to take note and get out of said trap, or to figure out a way to get out or avoid it once it is sprung. And even then, when they prove to fail and get caught in the razor wire, yes, I COULD by all means slice them into tiny pieces and kill them. Instead, I take off a limb or so and then leave them bleeding, mortally wounded, but still just able to save their character or have someone save their character if they really try, ultimately leaving the choice of if they live or not up to them.


So, as a result, IF he did not give you prior permission, what you just did is the exact same thing as essentially someone playing Superman who just busts in, tears off a guy's arms and then hurls him into the sun all in one singular move. Yes, Superman is capable of that, but in rp world, that doesn't mean it doesn't count as god-modding.

Seriously people, can we maybe clarify what battle rules system we are using here, because if everyone is not clear on what system is being used, it obviously leads to quite a bit of some confusion. ))

Ragady returned Scarecrow's grin with a serious frown, shaking her head a bit.
"I never thought the day would come, when I vould be the one telling you to behave yourself. But it seems now is an appropriate time fur that." she narrowed her eyes a bit, no hard feelings, but she was trying to keep him alive, and if that meant they had to temporarily reverse roles, she would accept that.
