Vengeful Elegance
Are you at least happy with him? confused

When I'm with him, yes.. but I seriously doubt he feels the same. ;o

Another confession:

I've always thought it would be awesome to have Anthony Hopkins as a grandfather.

Also... I have a thing for older guys.

Woo, I'm not the only one. x3

Haha YEAH OLDER GUY POWER!!! XD lol. For me... it's that I've always been more mature than my peers at my school, and since older guys are more mature... well, it's a win on that one. Also, thye tend to look better. XD And have better personalities...

for me it's just that they are so much more attractive, and have a certain lack of tiresome shallowness. ninja but there are younger Men who are like the Older Men, and they realy make me melt. ^///^

but i wouldn't say they are more mature. Older Men come with their own set of problems as well... stare hmph! emotional baggage out the wazoo, or leastways the ones i've met. crying

I'm sooooooooo bored with my life right now....

Our family only has one vehicle right now, so I'm stuck at the house watching my kids. I know that I'm blessed in being able to be there for them. I was a SAHM for the first 2 years of my son's life, and for all but 6 months of my daughter's life (she's 3 and 1/2 now) one of us has been able to be home with her.

I spent 9 months last year working 2 to 3 jobs getting my Realter's license, getting set up in an office, and the whole shebang. My husband was laid off all last year, and I still did this all despite that.

Then when everything was starting to line out, the car we had bought 1 month before my husband was laid off died. We had been keeping up with the payments, but when it died, it was going to cost $3000 to get it going again. Since we still owed $6000 on it, it was in our better interest to let it go back.

Then, my husband got a job a month after we lost the car, I was back to staying home. It was better for us to have a reliable weekly check than an intermittent commission check. He got a great job too. We can live pretty good on just his check.

Now, this year my cabin fever has been progressively worsening. I have picked up various jobs just to get out of the house in the mornings, but I am stuck home all evening. I have spent my time compiling information I need for what I want to do with my life, contacting organizations and the whatnot.

Now, my man has been working overtime like nobody's business, and so I haven't had to have my weekend romp for the last 3 weeks.

A friend of mine just received her discharge from the NAVY 2 weeks ago, and she is already thinking of reenlisting. My semi-cousin just graduated from BT last Friday. I have been trying to get financial aid for school for the last 2 years, and am at an impass with the changing job situations during that period, and FAFSA hasn't ever given me a total of what I qualify for.

So, this all leads to my confession... sorry, but I like to get the back-story out first....

So, anyway... My life's work (what I want to accomplish) would best be accomplished if I were to have a psychology degree, and some college business courses, if not a degree in that as well. I 'm not getting any farther by sitting on my a** at home every evening.

I can't just tell my husband that he needs to be on the morning/day shift instead of the afternoon/evening shift when he has such a great spot where he's at now. We've talked about it, but I know he really likes his job, and that doesn't usually just happen.

I am actually thinking about going to the city early tomorrow morning, and going to the recruiter's office. See what it would take to get me in and if I could get the college I want, and the adventure I need.

I'm sorry, but pecking away at a keyboard every night just isn't what I want to do forever. I need to be doing something. I would be happy stopping into Gaia for a half hour before bed every couple of days to check in.

I can only do so much Wii fit. I love the outdoors, but I am only willing to subject my kids to about 100 mosquito bites a day, give or take a few. My house is small, so there isn't much to clean, and I have read myself dizzy. TV makes me sleep. I love anime, but I still fall asleep if I am not doing anything else.

My only other option I have been considering is going to the nearby horse stables and see about volunteering for the chance to ride the horses. I really like horses, but have never had one of my own. If I had someone to teach me about the finer points of horse-care, I would get the experience I need to own one of my own. I just don't know what I'ld do with my daughter when I did that.

Thanks for the chance to whine a bit...

Confession:
I'm obsessed with the possibility of appendicitis... I freak every time my side hurts. T-T I've gotten to the point where I've lost sleep.
Good thing my mom's a psychologist! Although my panic attacks aren't getting any better.

This might be counter productive, but considering how routine an appendectomy is, there are a hundred other things that are more panic-worthy. God will take you when He is ready for you. wink
