Ligeia's eyes went wide and for a moment he almost looked disbelieving about what she had said, could she actually spit glue? Was that possible? It sure didn't sound it but... "I... S-Eee?" He asked after a moments worth of thought, "S-Eeee glue?" He didn't see a problem with asking her to prove that she could spit glue.
He stepped a little closer, wings puffing up in anticipation of seeing this trick of hers.

Arith's eyes widened."If fizzies fast and sqweed fazter, das fast!"His nose wrinked a bit when she said what Velvet worms eat."Dey all soun' icky, 'cept da froot, I haded froot afore."He grinned, his ears perking forward."You spid goo?"He nodded as Liqeia asked to see."Ya, I wanna see too!"Arith almost shook with excitement, the thought of someone spitting glue sounded so cool.

"Crickets taste good!" Indigo affirmed to Arith. "'Specially covered in chok'et." She had to wonder briefly if some of the party food her mom went off to bring back was going to be chocolate; or better, crickets dipped in chocolate. Mmm. Then, of course, it was right back to showing off for the two boys.
"Okay!" And spit glue she could. Her nose wrinkled up, eyes narrowed with concentration as she puffed her cheeks out and made as if she was swishing water around her mouth. A moment later she spit a ball of something pearly and gray into her upper left hand, then pressed both upper hands together before pulling them apart.
The glue stretched, and stretched, and stretched until she had her hands nearly a foot a part. She beamed at Ligeia and Arith then. "See? Glue!" Then she offered it toward Arith, eyes big, and said, "Wanna touch it?"

Arith let out a sort of bark when she spat out the glue."Das so coo'!So you cuwd like..spid a' peopewz feets and dey sticky to da f'oor?"He nodded as she asked if he wanted to touch it."Yea!"With a quick step forward he lefted his arm out and poked the glue with a finger, watching it stretch a bit when he pulled his hand back slightly, the glue sticking to his furry finger."So coo'."

"Uh-huh!" Though honestly, that hadn't been something Indigo really considered. Sticking people's feet to the floor... that sounded like fun! (And a disaster waiting to happen, from the point of view of Tizzy and Jenner.) "Is REALLY cool! An' someday when I'm all growed up an' have a dragon we can go hunting and I'll spit glue--pshoo!--an' stick things to the ground!"

Ligeia's eyes widened and he tilted his head. Sticking things to the ground huh? That would make hunting so much easier wouldn't it? Make it so that your prey was immobile! That would be awesome! His wings fluttered in an excited sort of way, "I..." he thought on the words so as to get them to come out right, "Can't wait too. Fly with my dragon." He said flapping his wings excitedly.
Well that was when he finally got the hang of flying but if he learned it first then he could teach it to his dragon!

Arith stuck his tongue out, moving his finger so the stretched glue moved with it.Dragon?What would he do with a dragon?He glanced from Indigo to Ligea then back to the glue, his brow furrowed in thought.He could smell real good, but did dragons have a good sense of smell?He shrugged a bit, figuring it would be cool no matter what.

Indigo's eyes widened at Ligeia's declaration. "Oooo. I hope my dragon c'n fly," she said. "I wanna fly! It sounds like fun!" The glue was starting to degrade, not meant for any permanent usage--a lot more of it came off on Arith's finger than he'd probably wanted. Indigo giggled at this.

Arith nodded."Ya, I seened birdiez fyin inna sky, looka like fun."He shook his hand a bit, trying to get the glue off."Dis shtuv is weird."He sniffed at the glue, his nose wrinking a bit at the snell."Smewz funny too."

Ligeia fluttered his wings excitedly, "I... wanna fly-Eee too!" He said, he just had yet to get the hang of it. Soon though, he was sure that he was on the right track to figuring it out!
