Professor Samuel Oak Location: Knot Island Oak sat in a rather comfortable chair deep in thought. He contemplated the events that have transpired in the not-so-distant past. The events that led up to this senseless war between the regions. The situation was daunting and Oak was disheartened. How could he help bring an end to this terrible war.
Hiding out in Knot Island isn't something he's entirely proud of. But the Rockets or the Sinjoh Alliance would surely invade Pallet Town just for him. He couldn't put his loved ones through that. Especially Green and Daisy. Oak hunched over and rested his face in his palms. Holding back his tears. Tears invoked by anxiety. By the longing for his loved ones. And by the fear of being discovered.
Just then, someone knocked at the door. "Who could that be?" Oak asked himself. He slowly rose to his feet and made his way for the door. Unaware of the Gengar that had intruded through the wall. Oak's nerves caused his arm to shake as he reached for the door. His right hand clutching the Pokeball in his pocket. Oak slowly opened the door.

Dreams, hope, love...where do they come from....and where to they go? Not to his surprise, the door opened, his target looking at him with glassy eyes. He had been crying, there was no doubt about that. "Professor Oak, I have heard much about you, and would love to learn more about you and your poetry. Do you mind if I enter your abode?" The young man chuckled a dark laugh, which was unheard by Oak's old ears. He would never know what hit him. No matter...i shall end it all.

Professor Samuel Oak Location: Knot Island Upon opening the door, Oak witnessed a young man. He was clad in all black and appeared to be quite troubled. There was a peculiar air about this young man and Oak was about to ask him why he had come.
The young man spoke. He must've seen Oak and recognized him from the television. Being a famed Pokemon professor certainly had it's drawbacks. Oak sighed and considered sending him away, but at the mention of his curiosity of his poems, Oak smiled. Not many people shared his love for fine poetry.
"You may enter but only if you promise to keep my whereabouts hidden from others." Oak replied. He wasn't thrilled about having a crowd gather at his temporary home.

The Fallen Angel... R2 zoomed over the ocean blurring the ocean lights. Ryuu on R2's back thinking only of the citizens of Mossdeep City. The ships that brought destruction came from the direction of Mossdeep. Ryuu couldn't help but think if the destruction started there first. R2 flew over a small cottage perched on the smallest island he has ever seen. Mossdeep was near.
=== Black smoke could be seen raising from the houses and buildings. R2 flew a circle around the city once. Ryuu looked at the destruction and assessed the damage.
Most of the building where destroyed and many were wounded. They manage to hold off the Donphan assault.Black armor could be seen on the ground. Many Pokemon were wounded as well. The gym; the fort of the city took the most damage. Tate and Liza where out helping the wounded. Their Lunatone and Solrock hovering close by.
"Tate, Liza!" Ryuu called as Flygon landed 5 yards away. He hopped off and ran to them. "What happen here?" Ryuu asked already knowing the answer.
"They came from the north in Team Magma ships," Liza spoke. "We had no warning. We barely had enough time for a counter strike. If it wasn't for the man with red hair we would all be dead," Tate told him sadly. "Red hair...' Ryuu trailed off staring up to the Space Center. A cloaked man was walking up the staircase to the Center.
"R2," Ryuu called his Flygon over. He got on his back. "I'll be right back," he told Tate and Liza who nodded. He flew toward the man who saw them and took off running. He ran into the Space Center has Ryuu landed at the front door. He chased the man inside and upstairs. The man was hooded and stood staring out of an open window.
"Who are you...?" Ryuu asked as he approached the man. He said nothing an jumped out of the window. Ryuu ran to the window stunned by what just happened. Looking out of the window he could see the man's cloak whipping in the wind; Dragonite flying off into the distance. Who was that man that just flew off on top of a Dragonite...? ...Messenger of Peace

"Ahhh" Donovan sighed as he stared up to the night sky, the sound of various bug Pokemon chirping and twittering in the background, "It's so peaceful here, reminds me of Viridian Forest almost..." Donovan reminisced about his younger days playing with his friends in the forest almost getting lost more times than he could count.
"Wonder what my parent's are doing right now..." finishing setting up his camp he crawled into the little one person tent and dozed off, but a peaceful slumber would not come so easily.
Over the horizon a dark cloud came and came to a rest over Donovan's tent, tossing and turning he dreams of a terrible world where both Johto and Kanto have been burnt to the ground as a mysterious man atop Mt. Silver laughs maniacally surrounded by five others standing around fallen trainers and guards and officers. As the dream ends the dark cloud moves on and Donovan finally drifted off into a peaceful sleep.

Be polite. Be efficient. A few hours had passed since I had reached Cycling Road and began surfing across the water. I didn't expect to see so many boats from Hoenn in the Vermilion Harbor. Bill and I just stayed near the shores to make it seem like we were recreationally surfing.
Upon arriving at the docks, I climbed off of Bill, and then recalled him to his Net Ball. "You did good Bill." I told him as I placed the ball onto my belt loop, with all my other Pokemon.
Hopefully I could get into Vermilion without any of these sailors noticing me. Too bad my luck was crap.
"Hey you!" A sailor called, and I knew he was talking to me. I thought of myself as a wanted criminal, and expected to be arrested, although there was no reason to.
"Do you have any I.D?" The sailor asked.
"I uhh, don't appear to have any on me sir." I searched my body with my hands, making it seem like I was trying to find it. I knew I didn't have one. I wasn't enlisted in the Kanto Army or Navy. That's when I realized he wasn't talking to me.
Looking over, I saw the bulky sailor talking to some kid, no older than 14 years of age.
"You're from Sinnoh! I know it! Look at these badges!" The sailor rudely confiscated the boy's Sinnoh League Badges, and a pair of guards took the boy away.
I managed to sneak out of Vermilion Port as all the trainers and sailors watched the boy get carried away. Now I was in Vermilion City. It's been a few years since I've been here, and I distinctively remember my gym battle against Surge, and his Electabuzz. But have a plan to kill everyone you meet.

Conner was sitting in a little restaurant in Fortree City when he noticed some red bodies coming from the forest. After closer analysis, he discovered what they were.
Magmortar.
In moments, they began to burn the tree forts with massive Flamethrower attacks. Conner reached for his bag and pulled out a Pokeball and yelled, "All right, come out Nidoking!"
Nidoking came out with an earth-shattering roar, mighty as the kings that caused the Magmortars to flinch. "Now, use toxic Spikes then follow up with Earthquake!" Conner commanded. Nidoking shot the deadly spikes out and used Earthquake to make them get thrown around into the enemies numbers. Conner noticed a bird in the sky. It was Winona on her Altaria.
"Altaria, use Hyper Beam!" called Winona. The Hyper Beam's force was obviously too much for the Magmortar, as their line became a jumble of retreating babies. "All right! That's what you get when you try to attack us!" yelled Conner in a fit of happiness, but then he realized the damage done to the city.

The Fallen Angel... Ryuu watched as the man flew away from the scene. "Who was that man...?" Ryuu pondered has he made his way back down the stairs. He met his Flygon outside of the center. "He got away R2," he told him. R2 nuzzled him letting him know he will get him next time. Ryuu petted R2.
=== Tate came running up the staircase out of breath. "Ryuu!" he called. Ryuu ran to him with an alarmed look on his face. "What's wrong?" he asked thinking what else could possible go wrong today. "Sootopolis City is under attack!" Tate exclaimed. "Damn. Sorry buddy do you think you're up for anther flight?" he asked his Flygon. R2 raised his head and and flexed his muscle. "You're the best R2," he said hopping on his back. "Tate do you think you can handle things here?" he asked Tate who nodded. "Be on the look out for trouble," Ryuu gave Tate one last warning before taking off into the sky. ===
"Take us up high R2," he told R2. They flew south west into the setting sun. Sootopolis was in danger! ...Messenger of Peace

As the sun rises over The National Park Donovan is roused from slumber by a small stamped of Ladyba "GAH AGHH!" The tent collapsed on the barely alert trainer as he flailed around. After struggling with an inanimate object Donovan finally managed to escape from his accidental prison.
"Well that's a hell of a wake up call..." He stated as he started folding up his tent in a huff. "Wonder what got those bug startled, probably a random bird lookin' for a meal" As Donovan finished packing up his gear he headed over to the edge of the Park. "Oh crap!" he stated as he ducked down. "They still do the Bug Catching Contests?!"
Several trainers of varying ages gathered around the announcer waiting for him to start the contest. Donovan now has to plot a course out of the park without causing a scene.

The Fallen Angel... R2 flew quickly across the sky; the cool clouds brushing against Ryuu's face. The mountain tops of Sootopolis City began to appear as Ryuu and R2 grew closer. Suddenly a Aura Sphere shot by Ryuu's head almost knocking him off R2.
=== Before he had time to react instinct kicked in. "R2! Spin!" he told Flygon who took evasive maneuvers. Aura Spear after Aura Spear shot by the spinning Flygon. The manic laughter of a man could be heard ringing in the night sky.
The opening of Sootopolis was a blur, but Ryuu saw it told Flygon to spin up. Flygon stopped spinning at the apex of his climb. "Now dive!" Ryuu called just as an Aura Spear came flying by. Flygon descended faster and faster the water of Sootopolis coming up fast. "Keep going R2!" ===
Ryuu and R2 crashed into the water at full speed. Flygon's aerodynamic shape reduced the impact of his crash. Ryuu was not as lucky; he crashed into the water like a brick wall. He was knocked out instantly. ...Messenger of Peace

~Masaru Mori~ Location: Vermillion City; Hoento Station: Vermillion Branch "My next mission is what?!" Masaru asked in astonishment, obviously not expecting this change of events.
"You heard me knucklehead, do I have to repeat myself?" Commander Surge asked, obviously not appreciating Masaru's reaction. "You are the best person we can ask to represent Hoenn in the Hoento Alliance Press Conference."
Masaru frowned. Was he really the best choice? He hadn't bragged about that title since a year ago. After all, he didn't choose to protect his title, but instead let his name just sit the Hall of Fame along with few other trainers. However, he was told to be the "greatest" champion Hoenn had seen in years. He didn't understand why. Was he that strong?
"The meeting is held at the Silph Co. Headquarters in Saffron. I believe Steven Stone could be there as well," Surge informed him, giving him a stern look. "After all, with Hoenn becoming under attack, they need someone they can look up to."
'That was a low blow Surge,' Masaru thought as he prayed for the safety of his family. With a sigh, Masaru got up from his chair at Surge's desk at the Hoento Alliance Station.
"I'll head north now."
To reach victory as a team, that’s my dream!

Dreams, hope, love...where do they come from....and where to they go? "Why thank you, Mr. Oak. I would absolutely love to hear some haikus from the master himself!" As they entered his forlorn abode, the young man let out a dark chuckle, full of hatred and malice. That chilling noise split the air, assaulting the psyche of 1 Professor Samuel Oak, sending cold shivers down his spine. They entered his living room, Verin making him-self comfortably civic upon a soft futon. As Samuel made him-self comforted in the warm embrace of a leather armchair, a voice as cold as ice shattered the silence between the odd pair. "Mr. Oak, as much as i would LOVE to hear your poetry, i would like to begin our studeous lecture with a haiku of my own creation, would you like to hear it? No matter, i shall destroy it all.

Professor Samuel Oak Location: Knot Island Oak allowed the young man inside and informed him to shut the door behind him. The young man let out a chuckled the was rather disquieting. Oak raised an eyebrow. He was not one to offend another about the manner in which they spoke or laughed. Oak pointed the young boy to a rather comfy futon. Oak made his way for a bookshelf on the other side of the room. He looked around for one of his many poetry albums. Once he found one he deemed suitable he went back and sat down in his armchair. Oak opened the book and the boy's eerie voice caused him to pause. A smile grew on the old man's face. The boy had written his own poem! What a delight.
"Of course you may share your poem with me, my boy. This really should be quite a treat." Oak replied.

As Donovan waited for the Contest to start before escaping, he slinked his way around to the fountain in the center. "...and with that, let the contest BEGIN!", the announcer shouted nearly scaring Donovan into falling into the fountain.
"This may be easier than I thought." He thought to himself as he avoided trainers with ease. As he neared the exit though something caught his eye, a young girl trying her darnedest to catch a Scyther, Parkball after Parkball missed and the girl was the verge of tears, "Hmm, I remember trying to catch Pokemon at that age...let's see."
Donovan slowly snuck up a little ways away from the Scyther, "Alright, come on out Noir, but stay low." he stated as he pulled out an Ultraball with a Black Wisp shape on it, out from it popped a Gengar. "Ok hon listen carefully, I want you to sneak up to that Scyther over there and paralyze it without being seen, can you do that for me?" He asked, nodding her head Noir sunk into a shadow on the ground and slithered up to the Scyther, popping her head up carefully she used Lick, stunning the unsuspecting bug Pokemon in it's tracks.
"Huh? What happened?" the young girl exclaimed noticing that the Scyther was just standing there, unsure what to do she stood there suprised, "THROW THE BALL!" Donovan shouted while staying hidden. "Ohh! Oh right!" with a flick of the wrist the girl flung the Parkball towards the Scyther and with a clunk, it was caught.
Wanting to see who won, Donovan called Noir back to her ball and waited out of sight till the contest was over. "...and in first place, with a HUMONGOUS Scyther is......LELEANNA OF AZALEA TOWN!" The young girl squealed with excitement claiming her prize of a Sun Stone. Donovan, happy to have made a girl's day better, walked out the eastern exit of the park, continuing his journey towards Olivine.

Dreams, hope, love...where do they come from....and where to they go? The boy stood, beginning a slow, purposeful stride towards the good doctor, his demeanor shedding itself away as he pulled an object from the pocket of his suit. A twisted grin began to from across his normally dead-pan expression. "Mr. Oak, have you listened to the news, about the Team Galactic troop they found slaughtered on Mount Snowpoint? Well..." The boy began to giggle to himself, as though he was remembering a sensual memory. "Y-y-y-you see, -heheheheheheheeeee- I was the person accountable for the loss of so many lives, and that is the subject of the poem I am to read to you..." In a sudden motion, he threw the object down, and a bright flash of light tore through the room. When the light cleared, a Frosslass floated by the boy, with a somber look in her eyes. "Daikon, you may remove yourself from hiding now. Use Poison Jab." A raspy voice chimed behind Oak, "Gennnnngar..." as a sharp pain raced through Oak`s body, poison pumping into his heart. No matter...i shall end it all.
