Username: Mei silja Number of Soquili you own: I own one boy! Fayearan/TaureName of Basket: Nimaear (White sea, White dystruction, white current, white nature. It can mean any of these. ^^) Personality of Basket: There is life, in the smallest of blades and even in the great boulders of the mountains. To Nimaear this was something to see and where there were toadstools in a circle he would prance inside the ring. Chivalry and loyalty, pride and courage are all things he would strive to be. Like the knight of his mothers stories that rescued the mare and led a herd to safety in the mountains where nothing dared to go. His head is full of dreams and determination but above all else however is that he is kind. He will help anyone and do anything he could to stop tears. Like his father’s love the sea; he can go from being a beautiful calm to a beautiful but deadly storm in his anger. Like a whirl wind he can change from laughing and smiles to bucking kicking and biting as someone dared tried to push him down. He is wild and untamed as the sea waves and his spirit just as strong. Any Future Plots?: If he is one to stay with his mother he will one day seek out the sea, his blood will pour with fire and need to see it and he will let nothing or no one stop him from getting there. This is only when he is older, he will want to move and go see his father, friends and family he will leave to e there but he would love them still. Here he would fight his need to be with the sea and his need for the family and friends he has known since young. He will decide where to stay, the sea or to go back with his mother and stay by her side. If he goes with his father he will be curious as to whom his mother is really like and if his other siblings were faring well. He would try and coax his father forth to see them, to travel that way with him so that he may see the others with him. Stubborn to a fault he would keep trying to dig him there but if he failed Nimaear would go alone hoping to meet many Soquili he has not seen before. In the end he would return back to the sea but perhaps not alone as he had traveled away from. Why you want this basket: Beautiful shining white and I love his mothers personalty so much! Mix a bit of the dad and you have a nice personality to play and goof around with. Will you hang around the shop?: The thread, well I pop in during my time zone and mess about, but I just got Faye so I am setting up Teepee and everything for him. Will you RP, at least lightly?: Yes and yes! Do you like the color blue?: Yup, I am getting my room done in an outerspace design so the whole thing is blue purples pinks and whites. <3 My 17 Gen sims 3 family are blue skin and hair as well. ^^

Personality of Basket: Adventurous, always up for a dare, likes to go and find fun things to do. Hates to just stand around and do nothing, likely hyperactive.
Any Future Plots?: yes, as a foal this little one will have as many adventures as it can in it's young life, i would like it to meet lots of different soquili but it will always return to it's mother in the end. Once grown it will go in search of it's absent father, finding friends, enemies and maybe even love along the way.
Why you want this basket: i've never had a basket yet in here, i love Kyogre and well .. the basket is simply beautiful.
Will you hang around the shop?: of course, i often lurk in there anyway.
Will you RP, at least lightly?: YES! .. i adore RP!
Do you like the color blue?: yup, i love blue, any shade of blue. From the deepest Sapphire the the brightest blue sky.

Name of Basket: Nereus [male; name of the Greek god of sea] or Lucina [female; Latin lucus meaning "grove", but later associated with lux "light".]
Personality of Basket: Loyal. He sticks to his mother and siblings that reside with him no matter what and wants nothing ill to fall on them. He can be hardheaded and rough around the edges at first meetings, but will warm up to one once he leaves the cautious zone.
Any Future Plots?:
01:: Against the usual quest to find his [or her, but I'll refer to the basket as a he to make it easier] long-lost father, I'm interested in having Nereus want nothing to do with his father. The stallion will downright even want and possibly attempt to retrieve his sibling [or two] that live with Mareo and bring them to "a more suiting enviroment" or move his beloved mother as far away from the sea and all possibilities of encountering Mareo.
02:: Though Nereus doesn't want to meet his dad, I'd love for him to! If Nereus does encounter his father, it'd be overall interesting! If he resembles his father, the fellow'll probably instant hate on his dad, being disgusted that he resembles his father so much and the whatnot... And if he doesn't, it'd be great if they became friends or something without realizing they're related? X3 Just an idea to throw out!
03:: In his adulthood, Nereus's going to have issues with finding love, more than likely. He doesn't want anything to happen to him that happened to his mother. I would love for him to have a childhood friend that he'll crush on when he reaches adulthood, admit his feelings, and after all this happens, they'll become mates. In the RP-time, they'll end up having baskets soon afterward [though I'm fully aware that obtaining a slot will probably take awhile XD]. Nereus will then chicken out, thinking he's not ready for parenthood, practically making him like his dad. Going to his mom, whom he deeply trusts and loves, he'll realize his faults and go back to the mare?
04:: Maybe see how he'd react around kelpi/mers since they might remind him of his father? Assuming he'll hear stories of his dad going to the ocean or whatnot.
Those are the outstanding ideas I have. :3 The others will just be typical need a couple of friends, an enemy or two...etc.
And these plots are easily bendable to fit the gender, whichever it may be.
Why you want this basket: Well, I guarantee you that the main reason is VERY corny, but Kyogre is my favorite pokemon. ^ ^; When I saw him in the pokemon event, I squealed, but I was unable to get him; seeing him have baskets gives me an opportunity to at least be apart of his family/have a pet that takes features after him.
I'm also very interested in being able to own a basket. I've had soq before, but no baskets, so being given the oppurtunity to own a Soq that I'll be able to see all the stages for and have a family for it to take part in excites me. x3
Will you hang around the shop?: I'm a bit of a busy person, but I'll definitely do my best! nwn

Name of Basket: Male- Zulimar (“blue ocean”)
Female- Manami (“love,affection,beautiful,sea,ocean”)
Personality of Basket:
if male- Protective.
Raised by his momma, he sees the slight sadness that overcomes her at times, and as a
Foal knows there is nothing he can do about it but hope to make her smile. This gentle
Soul vows to become stronger, and do whatever it takes to be able to protect those he
Cares about and prevent them from being hurt. He would be very close to both his
Momma and the sibling he grew up with.
If female- Wistful.Raised by her papa, living along the water she so adored, there was no real reason for
discontent in this filly’s life, but, in spite of her rather idyllic existence she felt a slight
melancholy, as if she weren’t whole. She yearns to know just exactly what is missing in her
life.
Any Future Plots?:
Foal: Both genders- standard family, friends, play, discovering the world
Young adult: Male- he decides to leave his momma and sibling for a time to find a teacher and learn to
Become stronger and a guardian. Potential issues that can come up before he returns
Home- unexpected encounter with father and/or other sibling, kalona attack, damsel
(not-in)distress who he believes he needs to rescue –she could either humor him or not,
unrequited love/crush that amounts to nothing, etc.
Female- Though she loves her near the ocean home, she is struck by the desire to leave.
To travel and see others types of scenery-from the forests to the mountains to the deserts
She wants to see it all. She would also like the chance to meet every type of soquili there is
Out there, being the bright and curious filly that she is. She plans to wander, and likely not
Return, unless it is just for very short visits. Issues that can come up- any that deal with
Traveling and/or curiousity.
Adult: male- Having returned from his adventures of young adulthood perhaps a little wiser, he names
Himself guardian of his little family and decides to stick by his momma and/or sibling’s (if it is a
sister) side. He would try to be helpful, but all he does is make himself a nuisance so much so
that one or both try to set him up with a mate of his own, just so he’d stop and leave them
alone- but given his unrequited love/crush and perhaps the damsel not in-distress experiences
he would be hesitant. But eventually the right mare would come along and worm her way past
his defenses and into his heart.
Female- continuation of the travel the world plot. Perhaps she could finally meet her other
Sibling and mother.

Any Future Plots?: I want to try and plot, the foal would definitely want to meet the father and siblings. I'm not sure currently as to what would happen I like plot things out as I rp =) It's more of a surprise to me as well~

Why you want this basket: Pretty, Interesting family and Honestly there would be great plots for it =D

Female: Calanthe, From the name of a type of orchid, ultimately meaning "beautiful flower"
Male: Melanthios, Derived from Greek μελας (melas) "black" and ανθος (anthos) "flower"
Personality of Basket:
Honestly, it will all depend on what kind of personality I feel that they have when the basket pops. Sometimes it seems if they have a personality of their own and others you and somewhat mold as you go along. Also it will depend on which parent that this basket ends up with but I'll try to give some insight as to what might end up.
If with the mother: I can see them being like their mother somewhat, more carefree early on in life with a bit of taste for adventure and a craving to be near the sea. Confused as to why they never get to see or be with their father and wondering about him.
If with the father: I can see them feeling a bit confused about their mother, maybe feeling as if she abandoned them and their father at first. but with time and plots, they might come to an understanding.
If I had to sum it up in one word, I think it would be 'conflicted'.
Any Future Plots?: I'm more than willing to join in any family plots for the future, be it just participating or helping to plan them out. Though I don't have many ideas at the moment since I am un-sure which parent the basket is going to be living with.
Why you want this basket: Well, I have always admired the mother, I will admit that. Her coloring and hair style drew me too her and when I'd seen that she had gotten a breeding with the Kyogre, it seemed like a very good match. And now that I've gotten to know the family a bit more and gotten to know their personalities, it seems like a very fun group to be a part of and rp with.
Will you hang around the shop?: I already lurk around the shop a good bit, as the Soq I have are kinda stuck with their own plots until I can talk with the other people involved who have disappeared from gaia for the time being. So I would certainly be more active if I had a reason to come around. <3
Will you RP, at least lightly?: Of course ^_^ Family rp would be loved the most for me honestly.
Do you like the color blue?: It would have to be my second favorite color, and I have some plots for potential blue pets here in the future.

Personality of Basket: Pollyanna. Always looking at the bright side, eternally and annoyingly optimistic, s/he views the world through rose colored glasses permanently glued to her/his head. Likewise sees the good in everyone and never seems to notice the bad. This will doubtlessly get her/him into a lot of trouble, not that s/he will really notice sweatdrop
Any Future Plots?:
1. The tried and true quest to find one's parent or parents. I could easily see Skye growing up with sugary fantasies of whichever parent s/he doesn't know and, as s/he gets older, becoming more and more determined to find said parent... and trying to convince whichever parent s/he is with that it would be fun to have a reunion of sorts. (Assuming s/he is raised by one of the parents) This would, of course, lead to a long quest and many mishaps should we choose >.>
2. If the search for parents comes to a halt or success, perhaps a search for one's siblings. Skye would probably have a strong sense of family ties, despite not having known his/her siblings for most of his/her life. And of course, should s/he find them, s/he would then happily proceed to drive them crazy with her/his eternally sunny outlook. X-D
3. I'm more than open to OTHER plot ideas and am, unfortunately, not all that great at coming up with plots myself x.x Hence the cliche ones above crying
Why you want this basket:
1. It's beautiful
2. I like the parents
3 The back story should be fun to play with
4. I would hope that it was male so my all girl herd would have a boy toy (Kidding X-D)

This month has been a bit hectic for me because I have a friend visiting from out of town. But after she goes home, I hope to have a bit more time to devote to wading through that thread x.x
Will you RP, at least lightly?: Most definitely X-D I may be a bit slow, but I wholeheartedly believe that the best part of having these pets is the chance to rp them.

Name of Basket: Depends on gender and who it takes after - I'd prefer to wait to see the basket pop if that's okay?
Personality of Basket:
Ever-changing like the sea, this foal is a serious type, who takes everything by face value. H/she likes to think and mull things over before making a decision - although this can lead to problems, because in danger, h/she will panic and not be able to think things through. But serious does not mean dark - but nor does it mean light.. The foal tends to overthink things, having periods of deep misery, and then periods of joy. The foal loves the sea more than anything, and is disdainful of land-dwellers. He believes they treat the sea too flippantly, and that the sea should be revered and respected.
This of course can be edited if the foal is land-based - for example, he could revere the forests instead.
Any Future Plots?:
1.// Teach me about the sea:
The foal would be in awe of the sea and in love with the everchanging features from the first time he saw it. He would search out other denizens of the water, begging them to tell him more.
2.// It's not enough:
Determined to learn more and more, the foal searches deeper and deeper into the oceans, until he comes across a dark cave. Thinking it will have secrets inside, he dives in, but gets a nasty suprise - inside is (someone cruel) who gives the foal a good beating.
3.// I don't want to know any more
Beaten and hurt, the foal returns to his father, and asks him for help. He no longer wants to know...he just wants to be able to defend himself and others. But the foal shows no aptitude for this, and disheartened, falls into a gloomy state.
4.// Show me the light
The foal is gloomy and sullen, but then comes a playmate of somekind, and the two butt heads at first because the foal wants to be gloomy and the other wants him/her to play. But the foal eventually gives in and the two become steadfast friends.
5. // The gift of words
The newfound friend gets in trouble, and foal uses his knowledge to get the friend out of trouble. The friend comments on how useful the knowledge is, and the foal's desire to know is reborn.
6.// A relit flame
The now adult soquili is a traveller, a wanderer. He searches for knowledge to help others, through whatever means neccesary.
Why you want this basket: A few reasons. One, because it has sparked my RP muse like mad, I really like my plot ideas for him/her, and I really really love the couple and I adore pokemon.

Name of Basket: Female - Venilia (Of the winds and sea)
Male - Satu ( Means Fairytale )
Personality of Basket: Female - She will be a bit of a trickster with a love from all things fanciful and full of wonder and magic. She loves to spin a good fairytale or story for others to enjoy. However she has a sort of prince complex where she insist upon saving 'damsels' in distress. In other words she is always sticking her nose where it doesn't belong and trying to help out.
Male - He will also be a bit of a trickster but not to the extent the female would be. He has a strict sense of right and wrong and gained his mother's love for music. However he has a habit of also doing a bit of a horsey jig when he gets to into his music. He likes adventure but he would prefer it to not be dangerous. He likes to read fairytales but he can't ever seem to remember how to tell them. He has a healthy respect for nature but he doesn't often stop to admire it. He can be a bit of a romantic without ever noticing it.
Any Future Plots?: As I don't know the pet super well or whats going on with others I can't say for sure. I DO know that the basket if given to me will be staying with the mommy. He/she would want to meet the rest of her/his family and thus travel to the sea. I also know that he/she would want mommy and daddy to both be happy and thus try and set them up with each other or someone else. Just as long as they weren't alone. But he/she would prefer the family together and always try and work towards that. I also have a mild plot where the three siblings get together when they are older like out of the basket and try and get mommy and daddy together. And won't leave each other until their parents sit down and talk about it.
I also have an idea since he/she will be staying with mom where she/he sits dad down and has a serious talk with him. Just to confirm she/he is still loved as well as his/her siblings even if daddy does end up with someone else.
I also if she is a she want her to 'rescue' some big stallion from something. I would also LOVE for her to rescue one of her siblings from something and involve them in her random adventures for glory and pirate gold and the like.
Basically I have a million little half plots. XD
Why you want this basket: Well I have been trying to get into Soq for awhile now. So far I just really haven't had any luck. So I am hoping this is my chance. Plus it will be my first basket my first Soq in general. That and this family I can understand and its one that I know I have a chance at. Where as some families I find a bit intimidating as they are based on characters from things I don't know. >.> Like WoW which I know very little about.
Will you hang around the shop?: I will try. I can't promise anything as with so many people in that shop I could very well just get lost amongst all the rabid fire post. HOWEVER I shall most certainly try and I will lurk as I do that now. And if I happen to see you or someone else I know than I shall most defiantly come out of hiding.

Name of Basket:Female: Aela
Male: Nys'en
Personality of Basket:
Aela:Temper: Whimsical
Aela loves everything. Nothing ceases to amaze her. She loves life and will be active and bright. Even the small things will catch her eye and amaze her. To her there is no such thing as a bad soquili, sure some by nature are pushed to do horrible things but that does not make them bad, just different. Everyone is good in their own way.
Alea can't stand to be still for a long period of time, after a short while her attention span will wane and she will be off again to find something new to amaze her. It will be hard to keep her attention for a lengthy time.
Nys'en: Temper: Obstinate
A rebellious streak a mile wide will rule the wayward Nys'en. He is always right even when he's wrong, he may realize he's wrong but he'll never admit it. Nys'en has a bone deep feeling of independence. He doesn't need anyone but himself, he knows what's best for him cause it's himself. He will listen to what he is told but won't always do as he is told. In his own way he is loving and has a big heart but it's a tough trek to get through the rough layer that he's built around himself. He has to go against the grain and be different in every way.
Any Future Plots?:
Alea:Aside from casual foal interaction, and family plots. I don't know which parent the basket will end up staying with right now. I am figuring she will stay with her father in the sea where she can flutter about learning about sea critters and such. Not really thinking about her mother till a time comes when she realizes something is missing so to speak and then she'll ask her father about her mother, then she might possibly seek her mother out.
A Flittering Companion: I would love to have Alea go on some sort of journey with another foal that is like her in a whimsical sense. They can go from one amazing object to another, to another. Along the way they will become close friends and promise to go on whimsical journey's together forever. Though as is with childhood promises they might not stay true to going on journey's together forever.
The All Knowing: Alea meets a know it all/epic storyteller (Either Foal or adult) She will be taken with the know it all and for once someone will have her undivided attention. No matter what/who the all knowing storyteller is Alea will follow him/her around similar to a lost little puppy dog. She will think she is in love although it will prove to be just a passing fancy because she's is just a foal. (Additional plots with the all knowing one are welcome)
How about some fun...?: Alea will meet a not so nice foal who's opinion on fun is different from Alea's whimsical journey's. The Foal's Idea could be along the lines of fighting (as practice or not), hunting, or something else that is not so fun for Alea.
Mom and Dad?:(This will be a personal rp between Alea and My Zheadeos-Likely set with them both as young adults) Alea will meet Zheadeos and though they are different she will be curious about his odd horns and triangular furry tail and will give him most of her attention as she drags the quiet Zhea along with her, They will talk and Zhea will bring up her parents and between the two she will learn that some mom's and dad's stay together.
Fairy Tale Stories: It's time for make believe, or role playing. This is a set of stories of fairy tales such as sleeping beauty, that Alea will play out as a foal, (just for fun) The other player can be either male or female(If a male is willing to play a part in make believe) The role can be she's the princess she can also play the part of the handsome savior so to speak, it would all depend.
Nys'en:Casual Foal interaction and Family plots. I don't know if Nys'en would stay with his father or his mother but I'm thinking possibly his mother though I'm still not 100% sure. I figure he'll know of both his parents and that he has a sibling living with the other parent so he will be curious but that along the line while being under the care of his parent(Which ever he stays with) he will become unhappy and decide to storm off not know exactly where to find the other parent and end up lost in the forest where he'll realize that he isn't ready to live on his own. Fear not he would not be alone for too long. Zhea or Omutia will come across the foal and can either help him find the parent he wants to be with or help take care of him till he finishes growing.(The last part will depend on a discussion with either/both parents should they want to be involved so to speak)
Headaches and Hardships:Nys'en will need a foalhood friend that will stick with him through thick and thin. They will be like brother and inseparable. They will cause one another headaches and hardships because they will most likely be alike in their attitudes because it's simply no fun to have a friend that you merely walk all over. There is no true friendship in that. While only young they will have a mutual understanding that each is right in their own way though it will be gained only after a few fights between the two ranging from verbal fights to physical. (Only strong willed, stubborn, and those of the likes need apply. No skinwalkers. Kalona's foals are welcome but the fights shouldn't be too brutal we don't want scars the rest our lives just yet.)
What do I look like a girl???:I want this to be Nys'en first encounter with a female foal that is so to speak a girly girl, in no way a tom boy. She'll likely ask him to play a girly game that him and his male pride can't handle in which he might say some means words, result in her crying and a guilt trip that would undo him and allow him to give way to her girly game under the understand that no one finds out about it. Beyond this an additional plot could ensue that he forever has a soft spot for her and will do just about anything to make sure she is happy, like best friend protector, Anymore plots would be discussed between me and the owner of the above filly
Who made you king/queen?:I would love to have Nys'en meet a foal(Male or female) that deems him either unworthy or beneath them, and decides he must be their servant and cater to their every whim. Nsy'en will at first go with it because he will think them actual royalty. But then they will ask something of him and it will go against Nys'en's sense of independence, he will rebuke and what will happen after he decides to buck this system will be open to discussion
Tell me of your journey's:Nys'en will meet someone who travel's alot (Mare or Stallion) Because of his sense of independence he will dream of the freedom of exploring the world and as a result the stories will excite him.
I'll do fine on my own: His first time on his own will be an adventure. He has decided to test the waters on his independence from which ever parent he is with. (This is not the running away from home plot) The plot can either go bad or it can go good. Depending on where he is he could decide to go off into the forest and find a creature that scares him witless, should he feel threatened he could decide to stand against the creature or decide he isn't yet ready to roam to far from home and run home. He would be determined to either learn how to best defend himself or he would try to learn if the scary creature was one to be feared or not. SO in addition more plots could stem from this one. 1:A fighting tutor, 2:A lesson in Knowledge, 3:Lets figure this together(An additional plot after headaches and hardships)
Why you want this basket:First I love foals, they are fun to rp. Second I'd love the opportunity to have a foal that doesn't live with both parents because that set-up right there is something that would 100% take some sort of effect of the foal and result in a development of character that is effected by that, and third I love the couple.
Will you hang around the shop?:Yes.
Will you RP, at least lightly?: Yes most definitely, first cause foal rp is fun all the trouble and mischief they can get in as well as curiosity because I don't know any child that isn't curious about the world
Do you like the color blue?:Yes all the different shades of blue are splendid, I think most everyone can find a shade of blue that they like....because even if you miss you'll land in the stars.

Name of Basket: Female : Adsila (meaning Blossom) Male: Valan (Meaning healthy, strong)
Personality of Basket:
Male: Valan will be a Soq who will be a sincere heart and has an undying loyalty to his cherished ones. He will always want to see new things and meet new people. He is also a peace maker. Valan is also INCREDIBLY strong, but he doesn't use it much.
Female: She is one of those tradition lovers. If it is something old and his parents know of and does almost every year, its a tradition and will love it! She is also organized and nice. If you want something done quick and well, call her!
Any Future Plots?: Pretty much everything to organizing a friends party to moving rock for otters, i will do it!
Why you want this basket: I think that its simple and well done. I don't really like complicatedly drawn Soquili.
Will you hang around the shop?: YES! Are u kidding me! If i get my first Soquili, i will hang around the shop ALWAYS!

Name of Basket: Azura if female Azero if male
Personality of Basket: If female, she would be a lot like momma, looking up to her, and wanting to be just like her as a foal. As an adult, she would, however, seek adventure and fun. She'd want to learn new stories to bring back to momma. She would always have a feeling that she had been chosen, that her momma didn't have to keep her, but did anyway, which would feed into her being such a momma's girl. She would seem, to strangers, to be very head in the clouds and daydreamy. She will think more then she speaks. She may turn out to be a creative type, not sure yet. If male, he would still care a great deal for momma, and feel like he was chosen, and loved. He would, however, seek to be a protector to his mother and sibling, even at a young age. When he is older, he would want to learn more about how to protect.
Any Future Plots?: For the male - I could see him, as an adult, setting off on a grand adventure for the sake of learning how to be a better guardian. He would have every intention of retuning home and using these skills to protect his family, however, I would love to see him waylaid by finding some one who really needs his protection, and hit the part of growing up where he realizes his need to protect his family was, at heart, his need. He would still love them, be close to them, and if he thought they were in danger, he wouldn't hesitate to save them, but they would no longer be the sole center of his universe. And he would look forward to having foals of his own to protect. For the female - I was thinking she would set off as an adult, with the promise of bringing back stories from afar. She would be fascinated to find out if magic is real, of fairy godmothers and gods do exist. She will probably have some near misses with some not so nice soqs, especially if some one who ha a kalona wants to play, and meet some that are nice, and have magic (my friend has an Angeni and would be happy to play, I'm sure) and learn that they aren't all they're cracked up to be. It would probably climax with her learning who she is, and learning to love who she is. From there, sky is the limit.
Why you want this basket: I love this shop, and would love to have a second Soq. I only have Pachu'a to play with and honestly, he isn't the most...ah... shall we say... personable... And honestly, the parents look amazing, the basket is so pretty, who wouldn't want that little adorable basket as a sig pretty? And you seem interested in rp, which I am always up for.
Will you hang around the shop?: I already do, though usually the thread moves so fast that I tend to lurk there and post in rps. What little I can with my gruff boy, anyway.
Will you RP, at least lightly?: YES! YES! YES! A hundred thousand, nay a billion times yes! (even if I don't get the basket, if you want to rp with my Pachu'a, I would happily do that. He needs to crack his stony shell some more.But... if we do that, I hereby apologize in advance for his insulting nature.)

Username: Carhop Calvalier Number of Soquili you own: 6Name of Basket: Maverick (Male and Female; meaning Wildly Independent) Personality of Basket: (For the sake of ease of reading, Maverick will be written as a male) As a foal, Maverick would act as though he didn't need his parental figure, but in all reality he would run back crying as soon as he was hurt or scared. He would act all big and tough, but inside he would be just like every other foal - scared and curious. As he grows up, he would come to gain a gentleman's demeanor; acting sociable and respectful in the presence of women, but when only around men he would be as crude and perverse as any other male. He would also take up thievery, becoming something akin to a Highwayman; traversing the human roads and robbing them of their possessions for the sake of stealing. However, he would have one great weakness; he would be scared of the water. Getting near water would make him uneasy, and the thought of actually getting in it causes him to lose all composure and run to his nearest family member to find comfort and shelter. Any Future Plots?: Battle of Thieves: Maverick and another thieving Soquili would get into an argument about who the better thief is. To settle this, they would have a contest of who could steal the most in a day. It ends in a draw, and the two become friendly rivals, having gained a respect for each other. A Stolen Heart: In an attempt at stealing from humans, Maverick sees a mare that steals his attention, resulting in Maverick being caught. Then, Maverick would attempt to win the the mare's affection, failing miserably. Maverick would then sink into depression, not caring what happened to him. The Great Escape: Maverick would eventually gain heart again, and enlist other Soquili to assist him in an escape attempt, promising them a treasure from Maverick's personal treasure trove. Before escaping, the mare who stole Maverick's affection would approach him and beg Maverick not to leave, admitting that she has fallen for him. Maverick would tell her to leave with him, and they could be free together. She tells him that she has grown attached to the humans. Maverick then settles for a compromise; he will stop stealing if she escapes with him. The other horses distract the humans, while he and the mare escape into the wilderness. Caught in the Act: In this plot, Maverick is alone searching for food on the side of the human's roads. He sees the humans pass, and is tempted to steal from them. He resists temptation, until he sees one of the women wearing a large stone fastened by a gold chain around her neck. He gives in and scares the woman, then takes the necklace. One of the human's horses - a horse that helped him escape - sees this and rushes off to find and tell Maverick's mate. When Maverick returns, his mate berates him and threatens to leave him if he does not return the necklace. Maverick tries to defend himself, saying that he was planning on giving her the necklace. The two argue, and the mare ends up returning to the humans with the necklace. Maverick chases after her, and is put into captivity once again. This time, he is not treated so well by the humans. He tries escaping again, but is stopped by the other horses. Realizing everyone is against him, Maverick succumbs to his fate and sinks into depression once again. Lucky Break: One day in the human village, an argument breaks out that catches the attention of the entire village. Seeing that the all the humans are not paying attention, Maverick attempts escape one more time. He gets as far as the village border, before being confronted by his mate. She offers him an ultimatum - stay in the village, or lose her love. Maverick, having come to resent her for getting him trapped twice, walks out of the village and his relationship. ...Or Not So Lucky: Unknown to both the mare and Maverick, the mare is pregnant. Once she finds this out, she leaves to find Maverick. Maverick is at his home, in a slump. When she breaks the news to him, Maverick grows even more depressed. He runs out to his mother, and admits everything he's done to her. Momma Always Said...: Maverick returns to the village, willingly getting captured, and finds that his children have been born, and are still in their baskets. He tells the mother of his children that he's there to stay, but only for the children, as per his mother's advice. It is then that the foals emerge from the baskets, and Maverick finally settles down to domestic life. Why you want this basket: One, the pairing is absolutely gorgeous. Two, my Soq Ritalin has encountered Liella before (it wasn't too pleasant for Liella) and I think it would be ironic if Ritalin and Liella's offspring are owned by the same person. Third, the basket is gorgeous, and four, why wouldn't you want this basket? Will you hang around the shop?: Yes Will you RP, at least lightly?: I will do my best to RP at a moderate level. Name of Basket: Aven (for either gender; pronounced Ah-veen)
{Reason for name: They are flowers similar to mother's, they blossom the same time the baskets were conceived, and they also live 'away from water'}
Personality of Basket:
If a female: Temper/Content. If Aven turns out to be a girl, her personality will be a rippled reflection of her mother's character. She is just as kindly and pleasant to be around, and has a fine habit of humming old and new tunes to herself. However, despite her constant smile and shining eyes, there is a noticeable somberness to the air around her. It is most noted when she is by herself, observing any little thing. Despite being young, Aven had noticed her mother's mood when visiting the strange blue adult of the sea. There was some spark of warmth there, no matter how confused or refused it may have been. That memory always stuck with the foal, and as she grows she adapts to the lost presence of one of her siblings and the lost chance of a 'family' lifestyle. And so, whenever Aven is out admiring the magic of the woods, it always seems to dim a little when she comes across shallow rivers or falling blossoms. A reminder that even the prettiest of wonders can bring such surprising changes to life.
If a male: Temper/Quirky. If Aven is a boy, then he will be an awkwardly and studious colt. Awkward in that he's not too strong, nor very bold and tough. Studious in that he never stops questioning how life works. Not one for much rough play and very attentive to his parent, Aven would be a calm role model for most other youths to follow. He is such a young gentleman, that it seems he almost skips entirely over his childhood. But there is still so much to learn, and he is all willing...if his mother would approve. The brief meeting with his father and the loss of a sibling will be a quizzical matter to Aven. Just what is a father, and is it custom for most families to split like this? But these questions will be more an exploration in life for the boy, rather than a lingering bruise of his past. If his mother could handle it, then he can too! If he could just cover his feminine and embarrassing squeaks whenever he's splashed with water. x-x
Any Future Plots?:
Female Aven-
@ Don't be Ridiculous. Aven will grow having the strange belief that two individuals aren't meant to grow close together. Here she will meet someone trying to be her friend. As much as she'd love to have company, Aven would shy away, telling the other that it is not worth the time or trouble....only to forget her own advice.
@Where is Father? A journey to the sea in hopes of meeting that blue soquili from her past. However Aven would end up at the wrong body of water, meeting instead other aquatic soquili (Kelpi/Mer?) and crosing paths with her lost sibling.
@Are the Woods Home? Disheartened by not locating her father, Aven will return to the woodlands. It is here she will voice her concerns to her sibling, debating if she should stay or perhaps travel about the lands.
@To Forget Your Woes. Here Aven would encounter a dangerous/tricky soquili that turns into a fearful situation. In the end, Aven will survive but suffer the injury of amnesia. Her previous lifestyles will be questioned, and it is here that she turns her attention unconsciously back to the water's edge.
@A Lagoon Love. Aven will encounter another aquatic soquili and, forgetting her past reservations/lessons, will begin to feel emotions for the individual. How this ends up however is yet to be seen.
Male Aven-
@Momma always Says. Aven will encounter other foals and be nearly insulted by their energetic ways. And if they are other colts, he will face embarrassment with his nearly girly habits. Either way, he'll be determined to be in the 'right' and make mother proud by his good behavior!
@My Fear of Water. His first true experience with deep water, and Aven takes a dangerous fall. It is here he needs a savior, and is surprised to find such strength and courage in the otherwise tiny Usdia type. This will perk his curious and somewhat annoying habit to study his new 'friend'.
@Brain and the Brawn. Here Aven will make his one true friend, another colt that he takes admiration to for his strength and confident ways. They will make a fabulous team of fun adventures, for the first time in the boy's life.
@Naughty Boy. After some risky and some negative ventures from the two colts, Aven is saddened to find his mother disappointed in him. Conflicted and guilty, the boy finally realizes it's time to grow up and go his own way in hopes of being a better person.
@Shaaaark! No wait, that's Dad. Finally, Aven meets his father, stallion to stallion. And is quite suprised by his energetic and wild personality. Who'd have known! And what does meek Aven learn from this parent?
Why you want this basket: I love the chance to develop a soqu from youth, especially when there is an active family.
Will you hang around the shop?: I do post now and then, so no concerns of vanishing here. 83
Will you RP, at least lightly?: While I do prefer plotting stories, if asked for family rp then yes I will definitely participate! ^^

Username: Cricket2008 Number of Soquili you own: One ( Veldaron) Name of Basket: filly: Cordelia (means Jewel of the Sea); colt: Corde Personality of Basket: If it's a kelpie, it might be confused about whether it should live on land or in the sea. Being raised by a Mer, it might have a loyalty to the sea, but long to leave the sea far behind and discover the faraway lands. If it's a regular Soquili, it may have identity issues with being raised by a Mer. It'd have a love of the sea, but never be able to fully experience the underwater world because it's restricted to land. Any Future Plots?: This would be a perfect opportunity for my Mer to discover the Kawanis. He's an adventurous type that spends most of his time exploring shipwrecks. If during the time that Liella is giving a basket to Mareo, perhaps she's trying to give him two and he loses one. Veldaron could find the basket, perhaps try to find where it came from. He'd discover the Kawanis and if he did find someone to help him find the mother, Liella could either refuse the basket, or simply impress upon him the need for him to take care of it, instead of her. Why you want this basket: Whether the foal turns out to be a kelpie or a regular horse, it would be a link for Veldaron to be able to interact with land dwellers. Besides, it's just a beautiful basket. The pale blue with the white intermixed will be a very pretty foal, if the colors of the basket indicate the color of the foal, that is. Will you hang around the shop?: I already do. The conversation rolls by pretty quick for me sometimes, but I lurk a a lot. Will you RP, at least lightly?: Yes. I'm a slow RPer though, because I like to think out my responses. Do you like the color blue?: Yes. Blue has always been one of my favorite colors.
