Ovan realized that for once, he truely meant exactly what he meant. He had only loved his own daughter this much... And even that didnt compare to her. His heart was almost exploding in his chest, his mind was unable to understand anything other than her... Then he thought about something that would hurt her, "Is your shoulder ok?" He asked, trying not to kill the moment.

Zoje pulled away from Ovan and sat down on the bed pulling him beside her. She rotated her shoulder. "Much better." she said smiling. She kissed his cheek so her mouth touched the corner of his lips. "Thanks for that."

Ovan smiled, expanding the area of her kiss on his lips. He slowly moved them just under her bottom lip, barely touching her, "You realy should rest though."

"Are you kidding? I cant rest now! I gotta go find out whose trying ot kill me this time so I can add them to my list after I chop their head off!" she said brushing her long hair back from her face.

Ovan pushed her down on the bed with his forefinger, "Ill take care of it. Go to sleep for now, one hour is all im asking for."

Zoje allowed herself to be pushed down on the bed. She sighed "Ok Doctor Ill rest up. Only cause its you though" she added smiling

Ovan kissed her softly on the forehead, sitting at her side.
He needed to rest too... If only for a moment.

Zoje turned on her side and closed her eyes trying to fall asleep. She stayed that way for about 30 seconds until she turned over on her back to stair at the ceiling. She smiled as she pretended to see faces in the long spidery cracks in the brickwork as she had done as a child.

Ovan got up, heading for the library... But found himself unable to. He sat back down, watching Zoje try to fall asleep, "Do you want a seditive?"

Zoje shook her head. "Nah, Ill just lay hear and think. Thats how I fall asleep every night." she glanced at him "Are you ok?"

Ovan smiled, feeling her forehead, "Yes... So long as you just rest yourself." he kissed her cheek, moving slowly to keep her from overworking her mind.

Zoje smiled and closed her eyes, trying to reorganize the previous events going through her head. She remembered the bodies, the tunnel, Renn.... Her eyes snapped open and she sat up "Do you still have that charm you stole from Renn?" she asked Ovan.

Ovan pressed her back down, pushing the charm in her hands. He had almost forgotten about it, "Next time, ill be sure to steal more than that from him."

Zoje pushed Ovans hands away and ignoring his protest, walked over to the window. She held the charm up to the light. She frowned and said " Meritos mi o mip uf brers roit!" The light from the window immedietly began to swirl into a pattern.
