Dolor

Insanity is a state fit only for the gods...

As the Sekkiseki barrier was dismantled by Tsukiko, the power they suppressed up to this point was now free once more as they fell apart. From the very center of Dolor’s core, three rings made of indiscernible text flew out, stretching across the entire landscape, each with a diameter of 200m or so. Once they had reached the said length, they began to rotate concentrically around Dolor, as the Exaequere fell to the ground as he was released from his prison. Spitting out a bit of blood, the damage done to his body slowly faded away, as his skin seemed to slowly re-absorb the dried up blood on its surface back inside his body. The organs that were damaged automatically stitched themselves back up, and soon even the bones that were broken and chipped by the impact of Tsukiko’s attack upon him before his imprisonment were repaired.

After his recovery, Dolor’s body finally began to stir from his place, and the Exaequere slowly stood back up, doing so with an audible ”Heh.” his appearance once again fluctuated, before stabilizing into a new image for him. A sliver of spiritual pressure escaped from him; before he reined it back in to maintain an eerily calm and virtually non-existent presence. He did not need to look around to know where he was, and who were the people Caelum was interacting with, flicking his left hand to the side, he materialized a toothpick, formed from his own skeleton. Placing it on his lip, he pocketed his hands and slowly approached his leader, completely ignoring the presence of the nearby Shinigami Captains. ”Osu.” he greeted, as he pulled out a shred of flesh from his teeth, examining it for a bit, he flicked it to the ground, along with the makeshift toothpick. Glancing at the Shinigami, he cocked his head at them with a sly grin ”So, there a reason why y’all brought me back? Don’t tell me you guys missed ol’ Dolor and his witty sexual innuendos that much.” he chuckled for a bit as he glanced back at Caelum ”Eh, Caelum ol’ pal? Mind telling little ol’ me why these maggots are here? Was there a company picnic Aurelius forgot to tell me about?”

But pain is a gift to be shared by all...

Elisia had been watching the battle after Tetsunosuke had moved from beside her, since there was really nothing else that she would be able to do for the meantime. However, her eyes opened wide with surprise as she noticed that Tsukiko was standing between Caelum and Tetsunosuke. What was going on? Was Tsukiko mad or absolutely gone crazy? Suddenly Tsukiko’s words flowed back to her and she was momentarily glued to the spot in shock. No, no, no. Attempting to protect the enemy was definitely not something Tsukiko would do, right? As she attempted to sort out the tangle of questions and words in her mind, she made a split-second decision when Tsukiko had knocked Lee down with her gravity. While she didn’t know exactly what was going on, or what was on the girl’s mind, she was going to find out, one way or another. People did not do things like that, especially somebody who had just been attacking Caelum a short while before. “There has to be some good reason,” she repeated to herself several times, sounding more uncertain and unsure each time.

Unfortunately, she had not been in time to stop Tsukiko and she felt herself being pushed outwards as she attempted to go near to Tsukiko and Caelum. No wonder. It must be a force of gravity or something like that. Visibly fretting by now, she could hear nothing due to some white noise that was interfering with her hearing. “Damn it, Tsuki, what are you doing?” she yelled in frustration, unable to stop herself from worrying despite the fact that she knew Tsukiko was more than capable of taking care of herself. As Tsukiko vanished and the field fell, Elisia was left staring at the spot where the girl had been standing mere seconds ago. What had happened? Her thoughts were diverted away from this the moment she heard the unpleasant and irritating sound of a familiar voice. Swinging around quickly, her eyes narrowed as she caught sight of Dolor. Now, that was merely another surprise that she had to cope with, it seemed. Something must have happened when Caelum and Tsukiko had been inside that gravity field, since Tsukiko was the only person that would have been able to do that. Tapping her foot impatiently, she looked directly at Caelum, as if asking for some sort of answer to everything that had happened. She was going to get answers for this no matter what, even if she had to force it out of people.

Tetsunosuke gritted his teeth as Tsukiko stood between him and Caelum. A blood vein rose to the surface on his forehead out of anger and malice. He actually got angry about not being able to cut through Tsukiko then her stopping the blade. As he tried to move around her to make his second strike, she made a kick at him, which he blocked. The word of her apology didn't sink in deep to him. "Don't apologize to me!" He spat as he spoke with a raised voice. The wave of gravity was expected next as it sent him away a few feet. "Selfish girl..." Tetsunosuke said with narrowed eyes. Everything she did next seemed only natural, she closed herself off with him; and no one was able to make out what they were discussing.

As they had their muted discussion, Tetsu took his Katana and sheathed it. He felt like the battle would draw quickly to a close just as quick as it started. Next, Tsukiko disappeared as so did she. "A hidden agenda... or so it appears, Sōtaichō." He looked over to Yuki with slightly aggravated eyes. Next he crossed his arms as he felt Dolor's presence enter the area. Tetsu was, for the moment, ignoring Elisia, he'd rather not interfere in a lovers quarrel. "I only see one large maggot here." He retorted to Dolor's comment, though he didn't say it loud. Tetsunosuke walked back away from two Exaequare. Tetsu still had his arms cross, but not his guard down. He shifted his gaze to all of the other Shinigami present.

Blinking, Yuki gave her daughter a strange look as she appeared between her and Caelum. "Tsuki, what are you- s**t." After noticing Tsukiko's hand being raised, she cursed, breaking free of Caelum's psychokinesis with the power of her own will and covering her face with her arms. She was hit by Tsukiko's Haiseki Kara and tossed back several feet before righting herself and standing up. Since she knew what Tsukiko was about to do, she attempted to make it inside the inner sphere before it could form, but her rebound from being knocked back was too slow and she was forced away from the sphere as it formed. Executing a rapid Shunpo, she narrowly avoided being trapped within the outer sphere and appeared solidly some feet away.

Biting her lower lip, Yuki stared at Tsukiko, doing her best to read her lips, but to no avail as it was not something she had ever practiced. A few moments later and Tsukiko was crying and looking at something in her hand, and then she, the Bankai technique and the Sekkiseki barrier around Dolor were all gone from sight. The sound of the rods breaking when they struck the ground sent a chill up her spine. "Dammit, just what the hell is that girl thinking?" She thought to herself. Looking hesitantly towards Dolor, then Caelum, then the rest of her subordinates, Yuki swallowed the lump her throat and gave her orders. "Her betrayal changes absolutely nothing, continue to fight! It's obvious that Dolor is unaffected by spiritual attacks a well as impervious to harm... but at the very least, we can wear him down to buy us time. He cannot possibly have as much energy as Aurelius and he's yet to have it restored since fighting earlier. He shouldn't last much longer than ten to fifteen minutes... If you take turns..."

Narrowing her eyes she stared at Dolor, then turned her gaze away. "Lee-kun, you're with me. The rest of you, take care of Dolor! That's an order!" After shouting her order and trying her best to get her head in the right state, Yuki choked back her emotions and vanished from sight, solidly appearing to Caelum's left, already bent down on her right leg. Yuki took her left foot and slid it behind Caleum's left leg, then pulled her leg towards her own body, aiming to catch Caelum's leg and trip him. Simultaneously, she brought her extended arm and brought it down upon his neck. The two actions coupled together had the sole purpose of throwing his balance off and knocking him to the ground in both a fluid and powerful way in order to distract and give Lee the proper amount of time to land a hit on him. She had certainly been watching, and he, just like the other two relied on psychic power to attack and defend, so they were all relatively slow and physically weak, which meant they probably couldn't take a hit too well either.

KATO MEISHI

Change is the constant,
the signal for rebirth,
the egg of the phoenix,
Angels are bright still ,
though the.BRIGHTEST fell.

Kato snapped back into focus after he saw Tsukiko....defect? "...The hell is this?" Kato's mind raced to propose reasons why Tsukiko would engage in a conversation with the one man that she was sent out to force comply or kill, but there were none. Realizing this, and attempting to stop this before it got out of hand, Tsukiko put up the barrier. Before he could even step closer to her position, a gravitation field seemed to repulse him from the area and before he could attempt again, she was gone. Obviously, she did not want to be disturbed. Kato still held his katana in his right hand, albeit loosely considering the fact that he hasn't been involved in the battle per se. He looked at Elisia and then to Dolor, eyes watching him warily. "Yuki told us to....protect him? How the hell are we supposed to do that? Wait, protect him from what?" They were on the Exaequare's home turf and with these people, everything and anything could happen.

Masashi, Lee, Gobantai Taicho

"Telling me to go. But hands beg me to stay. Your lips say that you love. Your eyes say that you hate. There's truth in your lies. Doubt in your faith. What you build you lay to waste. There's truth in your lies. Doubt in your faith. All I've got's what you didn't take. So I, I won't be the one. Be the one to leave this. In pieces. And you, you will be alone. Alone with all your secrets. And regrets, don't lie. You promised me the sky. Then tossed me like a stone. You wrap me in your arms. And chill me to the bone. There's truth in your lies. Doubt in your faith. All I've got's what you didn't take."

Lee completely ignored the newly revived Dolor since he didn't have the patience to even attempt to deal with conversing with the man. Confusion was quite high and everyone seemed to be a little stunned that Tsukiko had betrayed them or at least seemingly betrayed them in such a way. What other people thought of her however was not important yet even Yuki seemed almost shocked by such a thing.
"Now where this may not be the best place Sōtaichō think of it this way. I do not believe Tsukiko-taicho would do such a thing without a good reason. Therefore there can not be too many reasons why she would do such a thing. Then taking into consideration she was crying which I have only seen her do in response to Hei dieing. Therefore you who are her mother and might know her best can surely think of a possibility of why she did that." The words were meant for Yuki and only Yuki though Lee did nothing to make them quiet so others likely overheard. A mother obviously torn the way Yuki was about Tsukiko at the moment was not something Lee cared for. A mother should always believe in their child in lee's opinion. Then again it was just his opinion and therefore held no real sway. Hearing the fact that he was continuing the assault on Caelum with Yuki Lee nodded.

"Understood." Waiting for Yuki to finish off her attack dashed forward stopping just to the side of Caelum swinging his zanpakuto down. Just before it hit however Lee used shunpo again to appear up in the air behind Caelum a good bit pointing his zanpakuto at him again with his left hand. Meanwhile his right hand was pointed at Caelum balled into a fist which Lee then proceeded to flick out all his fingers towards Caelum. "Kawatama. Hinami." The small quick surge of water that shot out was instantly over took by the ethereal white wave pulsating outwards towards Caelum. Yuki getting caught in the attack was not even a concern given her status and power. She could easily have figured a way for her to either negate it or use her tremendous speed to evade it. The surge was formed into a giant icicle of sorts to impale Caelum outright and perhaps kill him. Still his exact abilities were unknown so what he could do concerning it was as of now unknown. Lee was still planning for the possibilities however to the best of his ability. The little thing Aurelius had told him about Dolor was still present in his mind almost as if the boy knew he would be released which in hindsight he probably did. However it was information that needed to be blurted out at the moment and give away the fact that he knew. If the information was needed he would convey it through tenteikura.

Elisia listened, although rather reluctantly, to Yuki’s orders. It seemed like nothing had changed and deep inside, she was wondering why Tsukiko had firstly done such a thing, and then why she had not told her about it. Maybe it was because Tsukiko knew that she would follow somehow. However, she was not willing to accept the fact that Tsukiko had betrayed them. There had to be some reason for her letting Dolor free and disappearing to somewhere. She threw a quick glance at Yuki, who must have been hurting as much as Elisia herself was at the moment. They had no other choice though at the moment and they had to fight. Even if she was only a healer, she had to put her powers in fighting too. She quietly muttered, “Bankai. Rukki Huang.” Her Reiatsu rose several levels before dropping down to her usual level, although not enough to affect any of the Captains around her, due to the fact that she was carefully controlling it. Looking around herself, she searched for a suitable alternative with which to fight. There were plants that she could manipulate, so maybe that was her best bet for now. Flicking her hand towards Dolor, she commanded the vines to wrap around his legs and his arms. If everything went well, he would be restrained by these vines and hopefully, they’d be able to launch attacks with less interference and resistance from him.

Tetsu watched as the Sōtaichō gave him his next order. He stared directly at her and unsheathed Sakuzen Kosshi from its saya once more. "Yes, Hakase-Sōtaichō!" He said respectfully and astutely. After speaking he took stance with his Katana in hand. His gaze flicked right at Dolor, his glare apathetic. "Sakuzen Kosshi." He murmured with small movement from his lips.

"I'm going all out!!" As he spoke, he dropped a large amount of Reiatsu in the area, causing rocks to rattle on the ground and any unsuspecting captain to be chicken legged slightly. He'd hold off on Shikai, wanting to make this a double training lesson in ability and Kendo. His Reiatsu settled as he Shunpo'd toward the Exaequare. As he was executing his Shupo, it seemed that Elisia had released Bankai and used her abilities to wrap vines around him. "Dolor, 'ello~!" Tetsunosuke turned his blade over to the blunt side and swiped it across Dolor's face, knocking the crap out of him if the blow was successful, he wasn't done, duh. He exhaled, concentrating on his blade as he took another stance to strike, this time with the bladed side; with his right near the tsuba-less area, and his left hand above it on the back of his blade, he had drawn it down and was lunging forward and upward, aiming to slice him in half. The attack was almost like he was going to ram him with it. He would counter how ever would be needed, he also suspected to be backed up from his fellow Shinigami. But fear was never something he fondled with.

Dolor
================================================
User Image

Everything can be consumed...

As the Shinigami Captains began to harbor feelings of doubt and unease, Dolor could only chuckle a bit as he began picking his ear clean of dirt and wax. Not bothering to reply to Tesunosuke’s retort, Dolor pulled his finger out of his ear to listen intently to Yuki’s commands to the Shinigamis. ”Oho, quite observant of you, Shinigami.” though he did his best to hide it, Dolor didn’t really care if they found out about his currently weakened state, as a matter of fact, it would make the fight with them even more entertaining. Cracking his hands and licking his lips, he relished the thought of crushing their hopes, but one question piqued his interest ”Wait, last I checked you were the wife of a dead man, and the fling of a Hollow, since when did you have the right to—“ however, he was cut short as he felt the sudden, yet shortlived outpour of Elisia’s reiatsu as she activated her Bankai.

Lowering his head as he leered at her, Dolor waited for her to use a Kido spell, or any other spiritual attack to try and damage him, or at the very least paralyzed him. However, he was surprised as Elisia launched an unexpected assault using the nearby plants. Allowing the vines to wrap around him, a sly grin crept upon Dolor’s face as the vines slowly began to rot away. From an outsider’s point of view, they were merely being destroyed by Dolor, but the truth was far more devious. Since Dolor was weakened from his prolonged stasis, as well as his near-death experience, the Exaequere required nourishment to regain his power. His initial plan was to tear off parts of his own flesh to convert into spiritual energy, if that didn’t work, then he’d have to resort to parasiting off his opponents attacks. Which was exactly what was transpiring as the vines and the plants attached to them were drained of their nutrients, in an almost vampiric way as the surface of the vines were tore open, as the nutrients were forced into Dolor’s flesh by manipulating the very atoms of the two surfaces.

To add to what was already bizzare to begin with, Dolor once again began to change his apperance, now resembling something that was far from being human. Just in time, he heard Tetsu’s voice as he appeared dangerously close to Dolor. Cocking his head towards Tetsu, as if to greet him back, Dolor increased the structure of the carbon on his face, creating a diamond coating that rendered Tetsu’s powerful blunt attack rather useless. Realizing that the Shinigami was far from over with his assault, Dolor felt the blade sink deep into his flesh before it suddenly stopped in its tracks as the Exaequere treated his insides with the same diamond-like coating. Acting quickly, Dolor mended the gash, effectively wrapping Tetsu’s blade in his own flesh as he stretched his hand towards him. ”Ever heard of a fly-trap?” he spoke as the ends of his fingers gave way to bone spikes that raced towards Tetsu’s throat ”Funny, seems like they work on maggots too, huh?.”

◄【 Caelum Terminus 】►

When discussion fails...

Caelum nodded at Tsukiko's request. He really did not care to tell such a trivial thing to Dolor, but Caelum supposed it was his place to honor the fact that she even let him out of the prison. After she had vanished, the gravity field around them was gone and Dolor was free. Caelum gained a new sight from Dolor as he entered, adding a new set of eyes from his use. Ignoring the little comment from Dolor, something he expects from the man, Caelum sighed, "That girl, Tsukiko, is the reason you are free Dolor. Do try not to get captured again." Caelum let a teasing grin before letting his features iron out.

Caelum eyed Yuki as she made the statement of betrayal, on part of Tsukiko. Betrayal? I suppose it would seem she has. A shame even her mother could not see what she was doing, unless of course she knows, and simply does not wish to let it seem as though she can not be a leader and objective. It will play out in time, I suppose. His though ended as Yuki called out her actual orders, in which case Caelums eyes, if one could see them at all, would narrow. It may have been noticeable by a small furrow of the brow, but it was so subtle that it would go unnoticed unless one was looking for it.

Using his vantage of having eyes all around him, Caelum noticed Yuki vanish and appear to the side of him. Right when she vanished, however, Caelum lowered into his legs, bracing, and when she appeared and he gained her side of vision, Caelum jumped up, seeing from her angle that she was going to sweep him. While in the air, Caelum moved his torso to give more momentum to the backwards kick he was going to aim for Yuki's face with his left foot. He made sure it would be on point using her eyes as a directive to whether it was on course or not.

As Caelum fell to the ground with his left knee on the ground and his right foot on the ground, Lee showed up with his blade descending upon him. Caelum wondered if Lee thought it was able to vanish and fool Caelum. Caelum, himself, knew of his ability, but he wondered if Aurelius had told them the extent of what he could do. So when Lee vanished and reappeared, Caelum had his vision change slightly, finding him almost mentally. He pushed forward with his right after pushing it deeper in to the ground, grinding it into dust, for the most part. Caelum dashed forward, kicking dust up behind him before turning on spot a few feet away, ready to face the newly formed icicle. Caelum copied the ability, as all he needed was his hand, losing the ability to use Tsukiko's orb attack and keeping the Bakudo, and balled his fist to his right. As the icicle came closer Caelum flung his fist and fingers forward, sending the same surge of water, but larger, to counter the one Lee shot.

Caelum followed behind it and and uttered the 'Bakudō #63: Sajō Sabaku' under his breath, three times, not really knowing how string the things together. He pulled out to the left of the icicle, just before it hit, and threw his hands up, lacing the Bakudō around both before lacing the third on Yuki, as Caelum recognized her over all power as being higher. Caelum then threw his left hand out to the side and began to lift a large chunk of Ruin up using Telekinesis and threw his left hand forward, flinging the large mass towards both of them. "Are you all truly that set upon helping these humans? They have no direct effect upon you. Let it go." Caelum jumped backwards to gain some distance after throwing his counter and assumed his stance of his right arm up to guard, and left hand behind his back.

A swift end to you shall be given.

Not entirely surprised to see him dodge her attack, Yuki's eyes narrowed as she quickly switched to the defensive to guard against his foot. Using her right palm, she halted his foot a few inches from her face, then tipped it to the side allowing him to fall back to the ground. Lee was around about now, so she used the moment Caelum was distracted by him to launch another attack. Creating a vacuum effect in the middle of her left palm, drawing large quantities of air towards it that compressed as it did so. Several seconds passed as the air formed a softball-sized bubble that she closed her fingers around as Caelum attempted to use another Sajō Sabaku against her. In the next few seconds, she showed just how she skilled she was with Shunkō, or more accurately Hanki, as she did three things with it at once.

Quickly she stepped forward, using a Shunpo to close the small gap in the blink of an eye, and then brought her left wrist to meet Caelum's hand, nullifying the Bakudō and neutralizing Caelum's movements at the same time. Pointing her right hand at the slab of ruins, she fired off a large shot of Reiryoku towards it, utterly decimating the piece of stone. "Don't be stupid. It is our job to protect them as much as it is your job to balance them. If it should not affect us, then it should not affect you either. Take your own advice and you let it go." Taking advantage of his neutralized movements, Yuki then drew back, and fired the ball of compressed air at Caleum's chest; it did not have very far to go as she had only moved a foot or two away. Even if he somehow managed to move before it struck and dodge it, it would still explode. The ball would quickly decompress, creating a massive culminating explosion of air that had a blast radius of nearly 1,000 feet and the concussive force necessary to render nearly anyone caught up in it unconscious and break several bones, that is, because it was coming from Yuki herself. As soon as it left her hand, she used a rapid Shunpo to get herself just out of the blast radius, hoping that the other Captains could avoid her attack as they weren't that far away while fighting Dolor.

"Truth is simply a conception..."

Hideki was surprised, to say the least, when Caelum was able to replicate the attacks that were sent to him. He did, however, notice him not replicate Yuki's attack. Hideki wondered whether or not that was intentional or impossible. Time would tell, he supposed, before taking a look at the much smaller man beside him. It felt a bit awkward to look down at him, as most others were relatively closer in height, at least to the point of Hideki being able to just look at them and not down. Akiri was his name, but he never really met the man. Perhaps that would change now that Hideki was a captain, perhaps not. All Hideki was really focused on at the moment was Caelum and the fact that a battle has begun.

Taking a few steps forward Hideki leaned forward and looked straight at Caelum as Tetsunosuke moved in for an attack. He studied his movements. Caelum had glasses on, leaving his vision 'filmed' and limited to in front of him, so how was it he was able to see certain things coming. It may be a mental thing, as it was for many Espada, though this was doubtful in Hideki's mind. His thoughts about the subject were cut short as Tsukiko intervened Tetsunosuke's attack. Hideki's mind immediately fell to the idea that she was now going to bargain with Caelum. She would not simply act out of place if she was not ready to ask Caelum for the the deal. Hideki rushed forward, an attempt to get closer, hear what they were saying, but was pushed back with an invisible force. He flipped as he was pushed back, getting past the area where the opposite force would push you to be crushed and slid to a stop.

Hideki only knew what they were talking about and not the specifics. He found it odd that Dolor was here with them, but just as Tsukiko became emotional while looking at her arm, Hideki finally understood. Dolor was the exchange. Dolor for Hei's soul. Tsukiko had better have a plan to right this later on, for having two out and about was just trouble, and an out right pain. Once Tsukiko vanished and Dolor's prison broken, Hideki crossed his arms and stared at Yuki. He knew she would have words about this, and was right, as she spoke out soon after. Upon having his orders, Hideki let his gaze amble to Dolor, who had already began to insult them as he was back at the Vatican. His eyes narrowed on Dolor as he was in battle with Tetsunosuke and Elisia. His body seemed to absorb the vines that were wrapped around him. Hideki could be wrong, but he had a good understanding by looking at it happen.

Hideki was going to start forward and attack when he felt a large spike in Reiryoku. His left eye moved on its own to look over to Yuki's area and saw her release an attack that, as Hideki saw it, was condensed. Hideki had experience with such attacks, as he had some of his own, and could only venture a guess on how powerful Yuki's could be. The power behind it must be extremely great if Yuki vanished to leave the area. Hideki dashed towards Tetsunosuke and came between Dolor and Tetsu, from Tetsu's left and Dolors right. He shoved his arm towards Tetsunosuke's torso, in an attempt to throw him backwards. "Get away from here!" Being that Hideki had mechanical arms, Tetsunosuke would have a hard time withstanding the push. Hideki then turned at his waist and grasped Tetsunosuke's Zanpakutou's Tsuka and lifted his left leg up. He aimed to shove his left leg into Dolor's body and pulled the blade from its resting place before vanishing with a shunpo. Hideki reappeared next to Tetsunosuke, stabbing the blade into the ground beside him, and dashed towards Elisia. As he moved towards her Hideki muttered, "Bakudō #81: Danku." Just as he moved past her, the barrier was erected and he vanished from sight.

Tetsunosuke's shoulders shuddered from the hard surface he hit in Dolor. "C-ah.. Grr." He scuffed at the obvious resistance he was met with. "Yeah, it's called, yer mom's p***y!" He spat on Dolor's face after being mocked in such a way; Tetsu was able to dodge the spike, only receiving a small scratch on his neck on the left. "Shuddup, I don't care! Gimme back my sword!!" He yelled at him with a strong tug. He heard a voice and turned to see whom it came from,"Hide-Uhgh" He hadn't noticed Yuki's attack and was so wrapped up in getting his Zanpakuto back. The mechanical arm had shoved him far enough to land on his side with a skid. Tetsu looked up to see Hideki free his sword and place it back to the owner. "U-Uchiro-taichō..." A bead of sweat and embarrassment strung off his cheek. Tetsunosuke shifted and scrambled to his feet, scooping sword and sheathing it. With a quick Shunpo he managed to appear next to Elisia and would cover her with his body in the most gentlemanly and chivalrous was possible. 'I hope no one tells Tsukiko about this... I don't want her to think I was trying to steal Elisia.' He inwardly thought while protecting his friend. The blast would send dust flying and other miscellaneous objects everywhere. "Riyu-Taicho... are you unharmed?" He asked sincerely. His eyes were looking around to make sure the enemy wouldn't use this chance to attack their healer, if they would try such a loathsome thing.

As she watched Dolor, Elisia’s eyes narrowed as she noticed the fact that he had been unaffected by her. Damn. The vines seemed to be basically futile, so she’d better not try that aspect of her Bankai again. Dolor had changed his form again, becoming less and less human with every change. It suited him well, to tell the truth. Dolor, with his insults and his attacks, was not human at all. Tetsunosuke was fighting too, but to tell the truth, she didn’t know how they were going to be able to get past his regenerative abilities. An idea struck her and she was about to move towards Dolor and attempt to see whether it would work, when she suddenly noticed the appearance of Hideki, who pushed Tetsunosuke backwards. Momentarily confused, she paused in her movements. “Why?” she asked herself quietly. If Hideki seemed to be that agitated about something, it must be pretty big. It was then that she noticed the fact that Yuki had launched a powerful attack on Caelum. Oh, crap. With Hideki’s reaction and the fact that Yuki vanished, that must be a powerful attack. She had been about to cast a Kido spell to protect herself but it seemed like that was completely unnecessary.

Firstly, Hideki had cast the same Kido spell to protect her and Tetsunosuke, surprising her, had moved to protect her with his body. Closing her eyes, she waited for a short while. Everybody seemed to be thinking that she needed protection or something like that. Ah well, it wasn’t like she could help it anyway, since they did need a healer somehow. When Tetsunosuke spoke, she opened her eyes, replying, “I’m alright. Thanks for your concern, Harasawa-Taicho.” She addressed him by his formal name, her words a little uneasy as she was not completely used to calling him that. Attempting to cast her mind on other matters, it was then that she noticed a small scratch on his neck on his left. He must have been injured when Dolor used those bone spikes. Taking the dagger from her pouch, she made a small cut on her left arm, letting the blood drip onto her finger on her right hand. She gently smeared some of her blood on his cut, waiting for it to heal before dabbing away the excess blood with some tissues and closing up her own wound. “You’d better be more careful, I think Dolor’s not going to give up anytime soon.” she quietly whispered to Tetsunosuke.
