Sentience is what makes us people. It is immoral to kill people. Therefore, it is moral to kill non-sentient animals. Killing chimps, crows, dolphins, etc? That's all immoral. Killing insects, spiders, cows, etc? Fine. They are NOT SENTIENT.

Honestly, if you're using pesticides, I doubt you really care much about disrespecting bugs.

Now that that's out of the way, I find a few things left to talk about.
Milk, for example: Why do we drink milk, do we want to be cows, all that. There's actually a guy at the herb shop somewhere around this town who says that to everyone who comes in his store. Also glues his sandals on, I find that interesting.
Anyway, we drink specifically cow milk for at least two reasons that I can immediately think of. One, cows were domesticated partially for this purpose. It provides a relatively steady source of drink (that tastes more interesting than water), and who really wants to go try and breastfeed on a regular basis? Let's be honest, here. Second is the simple fact that it is nutritious.
Short version, nutrition, taste, and availability.

Next, the raw eggs thing. Assuming the immorality of eating animal flesh, don't you think it'd be just as bad (if not worse) to eat the eggs? From what I've heard, people get pretty worked up about abortion, making it seem somehow worse than murder; wouldn't that same logic apply in other branches of the animal kingdom? That's also why I find it funny that people often suggest fish-based products and white meat as a morally safe alternative to red meat. Either way, something gets killed, and you end up eating at least part of that something.

The Bible says that in the earliest days of creation, all of God's creation (even animals) were vegetarian. When God blessed Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, He said to them: "I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be food for you. And to the beasts of the earth and all the birds of the air and all the creatures that move on the ground--everything that has the breath of life in it--I give every green plant for food. And it was so" (Genesis 1:29-30).

It appears that all creation was vegetarian until after the waters of the Great Flood receded and Noah and his family were left to replenish the earth.

Genesis 9:1-3 says: "Then God blessed Noah and his sons, saying to them, "Be fruitful and increase in number and fill the earth. The fear and dread of you will fall upon all of the beasts of the earth and all the birds of the air, upon every creature that moves along the ground, and upon all the fish of the sea; they are given into your hands. Everything that lives and moves will be food for you. Just as I gave you the green plants, now I give you everything."


there is no shame in eating greens & friuits,but its not wrong to eat meat,for God allowed us,in that,we shouldn't feel guilty,and in the new world & heaven,we will no longer eat animals lol,and every lion will eat hay like the cows,and the lambs will sleep with the lions and none shall be hurt ^^ lol,the words are different,but its close enough xD hope this helped =P

Eggs are aborted for the survival of a race? Well, humans can just eat something else to survive, can't they?

When you eat farmed food, you kill and oppress animals. Their habitat is destroyed by the farms, they get killed in combines, they're poisoned by the GMO and pesticides.

Farmed food is also unsuitable for human consumption when you compare it to free range animals. We've been eating meat and some wild plants for over two million years and farmed food for only a few thousand.

So mass agriculture damages your health, kills animals, enslaves (domestication), and destroys the ecosystem.

All you vegetarians are no better than the rest of us eating factory farmed meat and eggs. Tofu is murder too.

Indeed. That is when it is most necessary and should be allowed.

Regardless the abortion of certain eggs is for the survival of another life. In chickens, for the food of humans and foxes. In women, for the survival of the woman or her own personal reasons.

@Jelubi: We could, but people just love their damn eggs and bacon too much. Without eggs, many of the things we eat would possibly made WAAAAAAAAY differently that might not be very appetizing. We are a destruction race and we are the most powerful race. This world is ours....for the taking and the saving.

Animals have been eating animals for over a billion years and not everyone has the income or food supply to live without meat. In the US, it's easy to live veagan because all the things we need are right there, but a lot of places live in too poverse conditions to be veagan.
