Granted, but you only have 2 hours to spend it all and all the store within the time limit are closed. So you die anyway.
I wish everything could go the way that I want them to go. No objections.

Granted, but you get stuck in the mosh pit for over an hour. A drunk jerk attempting to jumpstyle for the first time slams into you. You fall on your stomach and break your nose. Another mosher steps on your spinal cord, and you become paralyzed for the rest of your life. The paramedics didn't arrive until after the concert had been over for a quarter of an hour.
I wish I didn't procrastinate so much.

Granted. You have such an attitude reversal that you become a workaholic, and your friends and family disown you because they're annoyed with you.
I wish for a daemon (like from Golden Compass).

Granted, but instead of the KKK, a group called the YYY appears, an Asian supremacist group. Everyone who makes European food is killed, and soon there are only Chinese restaurants in the U.S. The Americans quickly become overweight and die of heart attacks.
I wish Starbucks went bankrupt and America overcame its caffeine addiction.

Granted. Without the caffeine, most of America is forced to sleep more. A bunch of college and high school students are forced to drop out, for lack of caffeine, and America's businesses slow down. America loses money and is forced to go bankrupt.
I wish for the best thing I could possibly obtain from a free wish, including that it won't disappoint me.

Granted, but a power outage strikes the entire country, and everyone missed the winning goal.
I wish burning coal didn't cause pollution.

Granted, but because of law of conservation of matter, the burnt coal must turn into something. And if it is not a pollutant, then that just encourages the coal companies and their consumers and discourages activists against them. We guiltlessly consume more and more of it until it's gone and, more dependent on it than ever, we have to wait several billion years for more to form.
Because of the Antidepressants than I am on and will always be on because of chronic mental problems, I can never drink Alcohol. I wish that I could.

Granted, you can drink alcohol. To celebrate, you go to a bar and get wasted the first night. After about a month of this, you become a raging alcoholic and 'can't survive' without the stuff. Antidepressants won't help your self-esteem issues when your friends leave you because you stink of beer. No one on your contacts list will pick up when you call them, poised and ready to jump off the Brooklyn Bridge, wondering how your life got so messed up.
I wish for a well-behaved, healthy, and adorable new kitten.
@EternallyBlue I asked that America overcame its addiction, not quit cold turkey. And not being so dependent on coffee would help our economy instead of hurting it. We wouldn't have to import so much from third-world countries where the workers are paid less than living wage.

Granted, but now you have to walk your dog five times a day so he won't tear up the entire house. You pass out from heat exhaustion and suffer massive brain damage.
I wish my senior friends didn't have to go to college.

Granted they live with you instead taking online courses and eat all your food take all your sleeping space and lag your computer. Your never seen on gaia ever again all your friend think your dead and from lack of food and sleep you die.
