Iyasu bowed to Yokome to excuse herself as she followed Shagtsu down to the forest. She tried to keep herself silent, as not to disturb Shagtsu while he played.

Shagatsu played his favorite song. It was a sad and complex song. Halfway through playing, a tear fell down his cheek and landed on his Gu Zheng. He kept playing, and still, he kept crying. He finished the song as his face was wet with tears.
"Please forgive me, that song reminds me of my mother. For so long i have been wandering looking for someplace to stay, someplace to go and hide from the reality that she is gone.... cry Forgive me, I shall be right back. Let me wipe my face off."
He walked slowly up a stone path to his cave behind the waterfall. He sat and looked through the water. His own tears mixed with the water on the floor of the cave.

"Oh my, Shagatsu-san!" Iyasu pulled out a hankercheif from her obi and was about to offer it to him, but he was gone. She sat there with hankerchief and waited for Shagatsu's return.
'Poor man . . . he's been traveling all this time . . .' Iyasu looked up to the waterfall and let out a bit of a sigh.

Yokome walked over to the forest where he was playing and continued to listen.

Shagatsu began another song, this one more upbeat. He played his Gu Zheng also for a rhythm. It was simple for his slender fingers to find the strings he was looking for. He watched the two women as they watched him sing. He finished the song as it was getting dark.
"thank you for listening. As it is getting late, I must take a bath in the waterfall. hehehe you are free to stay if you'd like." and with that last word Shagatsu bowed quite low and laughed as he took his shirt off and walked up the path behind the waterfall.

"Thank you for the song." Iyasu smiled, but quickly turned her head away seeing that man was stripping. Her face turned rosy once more as she looked over to Yokome.
"Yokome-san?" She asked humbly. "May I ask you a quesion?"

"Yokome-san, have I done something to hurt you? If I did, I'm terribly sorry. I did not mean to hurt you, friend." She looked sincere and truly troubled by what happened at the okiya. "Is there anything I can do to help make things right again?"

'There is nothing wrong Iyasu. I just seem to be going through a difficult time right now. We hvae always been friends!' Yokome said with a little laugh.

She looked at the deep sun as she walked the path towards the shrine.

She smiled and laughed a little, seeing how she was being foolish.
"Well, then. I guess, I'm the fool in this one, ne?" She smiled.

"Would you like some apples?" Shagatsu asked. He jogged over to a tree, still topless, and threw something into the tree. 5 apples came down and he juggled them in the air until his knife came down out of the tree.he grabbed it out of mid air and it disappeared. still juggling the apples, he put them down 1 by 1 next to the women.
