Vickicat *A ship returning from space glided smoothly into Vann Sky. As it came to a stop, the door opened and Vicki stepped out, stepping onto the moving platform to the elevator. She pressed the button and the doors slid open and she walked inside, the doors shutting behind her. It took her up to the main floor, where she walked out onto another moving platform which she took to her office. Once inside, she sat down at the computer, and quickly typed out and email, sending it out that there was to be a meeting tomorrow.*

Mooty *He approached Vicki's office and slid his ID in the door, and it slid open. I stepped inside, seeing Vicki at the computer typing.* Oh sorry, didn't know you were in here, I just came to see if your office needed cleaning. What are you doing up so late?

Vickicat *She turned, seeing Mooty, her janitor, so to speak. He did a lot of odd jobs helping to clean things up or fix things sometimes.* I just go back actually. I was delayed by there being a battle but I managed to get around it... With this war going on I feel like we need to take more security measures. I was just sending out an email about a meeting on it tomorrow. *She stared out the large window that took up a whole wall of her office, which gave her perfect view of the beach. Outside the sky was dark and you could see the stars in space, indicating it was supposed to be night time. She watched the small waves as they rolled to shore, then receded back. She could sit there watching it forever, she thought.*

Mooty Ah, I was wondering where you were. Glad you're back. *He watched her as she watched the water on the beach down below.* You look tired... You should get some sleep.

Vickicat *His words brought her back, and she suddenly realized how true they were.* Yeah, you're right. *She shut her computer off and stood up to leave.* Goodnight Mooty, thanks for keeping things in order while I was gone. *She walked out the door, onto the platform and then down the escalator, to the parking lot under her office. She found her car and got in, starting it up and turning out onto the road, and driving to her house near the beach. She was glad it wasn't a long drive, especially now with how tired she was. When she arrived in front of her house, she got out and went inside. In her room she found Peppermint curled up asleep on her bed. She was glad Mooty had kept her well fed while she was gone. She got into bed, snuggling close to Peppermint who started purring, glad she was home.* Goodnight Peppermint. *She said, and fell asleep immediately.*
