Lunatic Lace You know what would be a GREAT gold sink? Selling the Dark Star Kitten in Dernier Cri for one or two million gold for a while instead of tossing it into a rig or the CS. No matter how many times we suggest this kind of thing, they never try.

No matter how many times we suggest this kind of thing, they never try. Even if Gaia didnt put Jet in D*C, I would rather they make it straight to CS than just impossibly rare in a RIG.

gonk i knew it was gonna come too an end but why would they close it? I know it gives off too much gold for us but lanzer creates gold! why cant he just keep the program cycling instead of us becoming noobs again? i guess im back too laging forum tanks , zOMG , and gaia cash -.o I KNOW WHAT TOO DO!!
people can pm me and help me make a HUGE forum like DM only name it different and ask people with full tanks too post them or pm us the link to there tank and we can put it up just like DM's forum biggrin ?

I'm probably one of the few happy to see the site go, it sucks for all the people who made their gold through Dm but at the same time this could be a great thing in the long run.

Oh well, as long as there is a plan to bring down inflation... I'm happy. Not a good time for investing though, so I'm selling off some stuff while the prices are still high.

BOBO TEH CLOWN I'm probably one of the few happy to see the site go, it sucks for all the people who made their gold through Dm but at the same time this could be a great thing in the long run. It will be good in the long run. Granted there's lots of places and guilds that have similar set ups in place for when this were to happen, but it'll be good as a whole to balance out things.

You invest, vend, and exchange to raise your capital, not keep it the same. Also, just because Lanzer created gaia that doesn't mean that he creates gold. And I have no idea what to hoard, I was thinking about making a thread on it in a few guilds I'm in to find out what would be best. I have a few small hoards (no more than 4 of any item worth over 50k ) and I'm thinking of selling them off to get the (around) 2mil to buy a hoard with xp

Actually, assuming his account has administrative privileges, he can. Gold isn't real, folks. It's simply a number in the Gaia DB. If Lanzer has the correct privileges, he can very easily go into anyone's account, including his own, and change that number. Voila! Instant gold! Gaia Cash is nothing but a counter in the DB, too.
