About: Nightshade is a mostly quiet young lady who loves to gaze at the stars. She begged to join Mountain Road, eager to do what she could and have some companionship. About: Stormfall is clumsy. Let’s just get that out of the way. He never does anything right and can’t walk in a straight line without tripping. His clumsiness has gotten him into trouble before—he’s managed to deteriorate the road and knock down several barricades at a time, as well as causing rockslides and small avalanches. Every time he does something disastrous, he’s filled with shame and usually takes on the task of rebuilding what he destroyed himself (until, that is, someone takes pity on him and pushes him aside to do the work themselves, as it always takes longer if they leave it in his paws).
He became a Whetstone because he knew that his strength would be a great asset to the pack.

About: Xue Bào loves patterns; people do not come in patterns. Starting to see the pattern, if you’ll excuse the repetition? Bao loves weaving and the creation of beauty, but she sometimes doesn’t understand people, yelling at them and telling them to go away while she finishes her work. She tries to be forgiving and understanding, as per Stormfall’s suggestion, but that doesn’t always work out. She’ll weave anything flexible enough.

About: Earthflower’s name is both a good name and a misnomer; she loves the earth (especially anything that has to do with rocks—mountains, caves, stones, and suchlike) but she hates flowers and other plants. They’re just so…boring! She’d get bored watching grass grow, but she’d be excited forever watching a stalagmite grow. As such, her friends find her crazy but fun. Toppie in particular gets along with her, and is one of the few dragons able to convince Earth to do anything she doesn’t want to do. She’s stubborn like a peak of granite.

About: Vault loves music to an excessive degree; she loves anything that sounds rhythmic and beautiful, and is easily distracted by sweet melodies. Her friends joke that her mood is affected by birdsong around her; an eagle or a hawk makes her feel aggressive, they say, but a robin or a finch makes her sweet and gentle. She claims this isn’t true, but there is some truth to it. The only time this isn’t true is at night, when she often finds herself with Nightshade, entranced by the night sky. But while Nightshade loves the silence of it, Vault is fascinated with the idea of filling it up; filling that emptiness with a sound that fills the heart and not the ear.

About: Zzzyxwe’s family and past are unknown; it is thought that her parents died in some horrifying way that permanently traumatized and scared the sanity out of her. She was found and raised by Adhira, who grew to regret it. Zzzyxwe is crazy and violent, liable to attack without warning. She usually speaks in a sing-song voice or in a low growl that indicates she’s imagining you without most of your extremities. Occasionally, often to deceive, she will pretend to be sane—when she does, she speaks slowly and draws out the esses. It takes a lot of effort for her to do this, so she hates diplomacy and would rather get on to the killing. When she was full-grown, she met a short-furred, purple male dragon whom she had a nice little fight with. Unfortunately, it was agreed that if she lost, he would take her back to his pack. To her surprise—when she, shockingly, lost—the pack turned out to be as bloodthirsty and vicious as she herself is. Thus, Zzzyxwe became the latest edition to the Decepticons.
Memory activation:
Whenever a Seireitei dragon comes near Zeezee, her behavior starts to change; she acts more aggressive to it and thrusts her face into theirs, muttering and singing softly about a "face of bone" and "holes in the heart." She may start asking things like, "Where is he, the one with the face of bone?" and similar. If two Seireitei come near (and Zeezee and her allies/friends/companions/whatever outnumber them), she starts having flashbacks of her childhood, making her surly and confused. If three or more Seireitei come near (or Zeezee and her allies/friends/companions/whatever outnumber them), Zeezee changes completely. She stands up straight and speaks in a cold, clear, frighteningly sane manner. Her voice becomes deeper, and she becomes cruel in a calculating manner. Her memory has come back, and it's filled her with a fury that she doesn't feel otherwise.
You see, her father shared the same beliefs as the Seireitei, but was considered a "Hollow," a soul-less entity. Believing himself not bound to mortal laws, Zeezee's father became a mass-murderer and killed any dragon that came near. He abused and neglected his mate, Zeezee's mother. When she was very young, he killed his mate in front of her eyes. In retaliation, Zzzyxwe shoved him off a cliff. Traumatized by his actions and the sudden reality of being very, very alone, Zeezee went insane.
She now associates the Seireitei's beliefs with her father; sane!Zzzyxwe desperately wants the Decepticon's beliefs to be true, because only among the Decepticons does she feel she can revel in the violence that comes natural to her without feeling soulless.

About: Charity is exactly what her name sounds like—she’s charitable, kind, sweet, and loving. She believes in justice for everyone and everything and dislikes favoritism severely. She loves children, so long as they are not greedy, but she is appalled by “bonding,” since it seems greedy to her that a dragon could be so selfish as to demand all the love of another dragon. As such, she plans never to bond, though she is, of course, open to the idea of sharing her love with any other dragon who wants it. She claims that her eldest sister is much like she is, but that her brother and younger sister are her exact opposites.

About: Anken is noble; he helps other dragons and tries to do the right thing as much as possible. He also speaks in the “thees, thous, and foreasmuches,” a style few other dragons can properly imitate. His past is mostly unknown; Bunny and Uid found the poor kid wandering around one day and decided to adopt him. When they later adopted Wyvern and Rise Up, Anken looked after them like they were his little brothers.
Anken can be a little short-tempered at times; he has been known to lose it with ignoble or idiotic dragons. However, he’s been raised to keep that under control as much as physically possible.

About: Wyvern is just sweet all over. He loves helping people and will do anything in his power to cheer them up. He is, however, as Uid fondly points out, practically a gut on legs. When he’s especially excited, he’ll simply start shaking, wagging his tail, and he’ll be incapable of speaking. This happens not uncommonly. His exact history is unknown; he was found with Rise Up and the two of them are practically twins.

A kid who thinks he’s a zombie. And he shares some traits with zombies as we know them: he’s a pyrophobe, he hates loud noises, he enjoys eating a lot (especially the braaaaaaains of prey), he walks very slowly, and he’s absolutely adorable. If he were a real zombie, he’d be a pet zombie who fetches the newspaper for you and begs adorably at the table. About: Majeek was raised alone by his mother, an arrogant female who was abandoned by her mate. Not that young Majeek picked up on any of this; all he knew was that he was a male, and thus he was inferior to females, and his purpose in life was to grow up and treat females like the goddesses they are. He doesn’t even mind that; it’s his lot in life, and he accepts that. He joined Westfall because it was the only place that things seemed to make sense—as an adult, he was constantly meeting male dragons who didn’t understand the male lot in life! Shocking! He now has two mates in the pack, Sini and Senka, whom he helps out not only as providing the, er…the, um…yes, the um they need to have children, but also cheering them up and keeping them happy. That’s his job, after all!

About: Soundwave, on the outside, is a well-balanced individual who enjoys sounds, especially the harmonious combination of sounds that is called music. On the outside, he’s a cold-hearted killer who will destroy his enemies without mercy or pity. On the inside, whoever, he’s a writhing, seething mass of hormones he never grew out of from when he was a youngling. It’s the inner part of him that loves children (NOT in a creepy way!), probably due to a secret, morbid belief that he will never have children of his own. Before the war between the Decepticons and the Maximals broke out, Soundwave was all set to seek out a Guardian to be mated to his true love, but it was not to be. His lover joined the Maximals, and Soundwave, wishing to have children and abhorring the idea of having the number of eggs he could have severely limited, became a Decepticon. It was his former mate who gave him most of his scars from the First Scattering, and his former mate who gave him the gashes across his throat that impair his ability to speak in anything other than a low growl that sounds like a python being force-fed a piece of pumice. This inner part of Soundwave is never on display except when playing with children or intoxicated off his aft (which usually results in him letting his frustrated libido off with various inanimate objects).

About: Blitzwing is the result of what we in the fanaticism business like to call a “foe yay” relationship: his parents—a red-faced male northern dragon and a black-and-red male mountain dragon—had such conflicting personalities that they often fought with each other. However, underneath, both of them had respect and even love for each other. Eventually the two admitted it, and, accompanied by a soldier, they sought out a guardian to be bonded. Their eggs, unfortunately, were laid prematurely and two of them died. The three adults were then left with a quandary; by decree, hatching spells must be laid by a Teacher, so as to allow all dragons to be on even footing and not be so dependent on their parents. With no Teacher around to lay the hatching spells, Blitzwing’s parents decided to lay the hatching spell themselves. Shortly thereafter, they both contracted a fatal illness, and slowly succumbed to it. They lived long enough to say good-bye to a newly hatched Blitzy and give him a name, then die curled up around each other. Their son was traumatized to say the least. He was lead back to the Decepticons at the first opportunity by the soldier and was raised by the rest of the pack. Both of Blitzwing’s fathers shine through in him; he often finds himself reacting as one or the other of them would react, either hot-headedly or randomly. Blitzwing’s own personality is cool and calm, hardly ever reacting or rising to bait. When he is insulted, however, better move! His hotheaded father will very quickly leap out of his mouth, followed shortly by his random father.
Blitzy started out as a depressed, moody child, but eventually morphed into the dragon he is today. If Soundwave were the jocular sort, he'd joke that Blitzwing was the most stressful sparkling he ever had to raise. Blitzy completed the cycle after the Second Scattering, when he was lost for over a year with the brander Astrotrain. The two eventually fell in love and Blitzy bore their children (after a brief visit to Old Silverback, of course). He couldn't be happier.

About: Alnilam is a good Tarragon dragon; quiet, attentive, has good observation skills, and hates mountain dragons. She’s a no-nonsense sort of girl and dislikes silly dragons or anyone who says anything wrong about her family. She’s a little eager to have children of her own one day, but she’s not sure that will ever happen, as she hardly knows anyone except the dragons in the pack, and she’s not really inclined to imagine any of them, especially her relatives, as a potential mate.
