Shifting onto her own feet as well once Jerome made the motion to stand, the vixen turned and nodded her head....fire food, check! "Shelter...." Koyuki debated as she tapped her paw on her chin and looked up to try and think. She wasn't even sure there was a tent at the house....but then she thought of something she knew they did have. "Would a tarp work? I know we have one of them as the prior owner of the house used it to help with the garden and didn't take it with 'em!"
Taking the hint the femme turned and slowly began to walk to the house; making sure he would accompany her there at least. Already her stomach fluttered as she wouldn't have imagined that she'd be going for a camp out let alone see her beloved today! "Do you think we will need anything else?"

He pondered lightly for a moment as he looked off to the middle distance momentarily, but he was fortunate enough to find she was already one step ahead of him. "A tarp would work..We'd need some string to tie it to something though" he commented. "Shouldn't be too much of a hassle" he added with a nod as he to started to motion his legs to walk along side Koyuki
"I don't think there is anything else is there?" he tried to think hard about if there was anything, but in all honesty he hadn't the slightest as to where exactly they were camping. He just knew it was somewhere to see the sunset. Still, he didn't question it. "If you can think of anything else to add, good..Otherwise I think we will be set" He said with a smile

"I'm sure there has to be some around." The vixen chipped in, keeping her pace to serve purpose as she continued the mental checklist. "It might be nippy at night with the hills; i'll make sure to bring a blanket! Oh Jerome, I'm excited!" The tiny femme chuckled, as if it wasn't completely obvious without her pointing it out too.
Once the house came back into sight, she jogged ahead a few steps and turned. "I'll meet you right back here!" She motioned to where his helmet and pack had been left from before. "It won't take me long at all to get the things; but the tarp is right in that shed if you wouldn't mind grabbing it?" Her paw pointed over to the shed nestled beside the house and with a quick wave she hustled inside to quickly pack.

He smiled. "I'm glad you are my love!" he nodded once more and chuckled lightly knowing they were out to have a good time regardless of whether or not they actually did anything very intimate.
As he saw the house come closer, he noticed she picked up the pace. Obviously in a rush no doubt, but he couldn't blame her. He walked over to his helmet, picked it up, and placed it over his head. He looked to Koyuki when she spoke. "Not a problem Hon! I'll go get it now and we can be on our way when you get out." he assured her and started walking to the shed. he noticed it was a small thing, and he was bound to find the tarp quickly
He opened the shed to find everything that was packed in there came crashing down on him just like in a cartoon. "AH!" he yelled as he was soon covered in stuff. "Well...At least I found the tarp" he said as he was looking straight at it. Being a big guy, he easily propped himself up through the stuff, with tarp drapped over his head. "Stupid thing" he growled as he threw it off his head and crawled out from the heap. Quickly he stuffed everything back in, feeling sorry for the poor person who opened it next, and grabbed the tarp.

Dashing inside she bolted to her bedroom, flinging the door open to look around for that basket she had in mind. Heading to the closet he dug through neatly folded sheet and blankets till she reached down at the basket holding them up and swiftly pulled it out. Snagging one of the lighter but still cozy blankets she laid it at the bottom of the basket before heading back to the hallway.
"Basket, check, blanket, double check...now food!" Entering the kitchen and setting the basket on the counter the vixen rummaged through the fridge. Pulling out the chicken, various vegetables and potatoes she cubed them up with ease; if it was one thing she learned how to well was cook daily for various house members and her usually bottomless pit of a daughter. Slipping them onto skewers and making a large amount to keep Jerome satisfied, she shoved as much as she could comfortably into that basket which would last them the evening and morning. "There!" Beaming in pride, she shut the lid and secured the leather strap around to keep it closed for the journey. Heaving it onto her back with a bit of a wobble since it did double for easy carrying; she marched back outside to meet with Jerome but not before grabbing some looped string from the closet.
"I'm back!" She called, rounding the house to see him with the tarp. "Oh good, you found it!" She smiled warmly, adjusting the basket a bit. "I'm good to go! Basket, string and food."

Jogging to the front of the house quickly, he saw Koyuki waiting for him. "Ready?" he asked, but he got an answer quickly, so he walked over to the stump where he left his pack and picked it up, slinging it over a shoulder.
"Alright then. Lead the way honey. We'd better get there fast. It's already almost evening." he wasn't aware that it had taken them so long to get moving and ready, but to his credit mid afternoon was 4 to him.

"Yes...I sure hope we make it in time!" Looking out to the west she smiled, and reached into her long sleeves to pull out two white ribbons. "Just a moment..." Koyuki motioned and bent over, using the ties hidden under her kimono to hold the fabric up from dragging and snagging on the ground; since she knew rocks would be involved once they were closer.
"Alright, lets go!" Tilting her head she shot him a small and tried to keep a good pace for the both of them since he was so much taller as well as the flat forest trails would me much easier to cover quick ground before they reached the slopes of the hills.
"How's Elysia?" She inquired to make small talk as her dainty paws continued forth on the path, heading deeper and deeper into the woods; casting a glance up to Jerome.

He waited a moment as she requested and took the time to look her over and appreciate her beauty as he rarely got to do. Then when she motioned to move, he followed trying to set a nice comfortable pace for him and her as well.
"Wonderful as ever" he said in slight sarcastic tone. "She's always begging to get free from the pod these days, but I know shes only saying that to make me think I need her." he paused and shook his head, chuckling ever so lightly. "Such a lazy AI"

"You don't let her go into your armor at all anymore? It must be pretty boring staying in one place for so long..." Koyuki said with a concerned look, since she knew that personally being stuck at the house was driving her nuts. However she didn't feel so safe heading out alone and never ventured far.
Coming across a stream, she veered to the side of it and leaped rock to rock to make it across safely; turning back to the path with a happy sway of her tail. Ah, adventure...how she missed it! "Maybe deep down in her programming she missed you and being out?" The vixen offered, taking a glance around at the lush forest around them with an admiring, blissful sigh.

He shook his head. "Nah...If I know Elysia well, she's perfectly happy with being left alone to do what she wants. The pod holds a lot of data, so she could be amused for years if that came down to it." he explained as he saw her cross a small stream. All he had to do was lightly hop over. No where near as drastic as her movements
"How's everyone else in your home? Not to lonely in there is it" he inquired while ducking under a few low branches

"Years? Thats a lot of data....it doesn't seem like it would hold that much!" The vixen chimed in once more, of course not really knowing a vast ammount about technology. Nor would she really appreciate an AI being present for these...more special moments.
At the mention of the house, her face seemed to fall as she kept her gaze up front on the trail. "Everyone is well....its pretty dead in the house. Trovalius lives in the forest for the summer; Drake is up north since its too hot; Nariko is training as usual. Everyone else is usually gone day and night other than the occasional trip back, haven't seen some of them for weeks now. I'm usually by myself trying to keep busy around the homestead." It was a lonely life she lived for the time being, especially when he was gone for weeks at a time. "Its always pleasant when I get a visit from Bryyo or my mother...but its far between."

"Yes..lots of data and plenty of entertainment. It has a virtual map of any planet visited by UNSC forces, so she can 'run around' on any planet she wants and see what's going on at any given time. Gotta love satellites" he mused
He couldn't help but frown a little when he heard her tone for things. He didn't like knowing that she was alone all the time, and it was a bit hard for him to hear, partially because he was a bit to blame..with being gone all the time. "Well...I might be able to butter CG up for some magical armor, then you can come with me and help me investigate things...It would be fun and you'd be safe" he smiled and nodded his head, looking over at his love to see of what she thought

"That does sound like it would be such fun....although im not sure i'd still like to be an AI." She admitted, and seemed a little shocked when she heard his offer. She, go on adventures with him in some magical armor! Oh, it had to be too good to be true....could it? "Are you serious?" She blurted, covering her mouth quickly with an embarassed blush staining her cheeks.
"I-i mean....You'd really have me along? I wouldn't want to get in your way or anything....even if armored i'm no where near well, your caliber." It was true as she was not a soldier, warrior....anything. She couldn't run laps to save her life, and was sure she might break her paw trying to punch someone. "Yet....if you do....I'd love nothing more, love." Flashing a brilliant smile his way, she adjusted her pace for the start of the low slopes leading to the cliffs in the distance.

He nodded "Of course I'd rather have you along! I always do, but I know you don't have a lot of protection." He spoke truthfully. "Most of the things I do for long periods of time are really not that dangerous, but having armor can help protect from a lot of things..It takes some getting used to..but that's..not m biggest concern." his tone went from a happy and almost exicted, to a rather..grim one.
"See. Magical armor is hard to come by...and CG is good with it..but...He;s not exactly" he paused to grit his teeth and inhale a bit, making that awkward sucking like sound that never makes anything sound good. "He's uh......Well he's evil...I can't put that anymore bluntly." he chuckled nervously knowing there was always a price to pay for good things, but if she really wanted to, then...he couldn't argue...it would just be a matter of finding something that the dark knight would want that was troublesome

"I think I would need it....I wouldn't want to be completely helpless like I am now." The vixen admitted as she continued on, but seemed a bit concerned when his voice had switched an entire 180 to sound so...bleak.
"A price....right?" Koyuki concluded, shifting her eyes down to the path as she absorbed all he had to say. It was a choice she would need to make...was it more important to be with Jerome; or risk a proverbial deal with the devil? Surely he couldn't want something she couldn't give or get...evil was always after power and money....right? "I guess we will cross that bridge when it comes, or you can get a hold of him and we can see what he could want in return." Reaching over she slipped her paw into his, holding tight. "Whatever it could be, I wouldn't risk anything that could keep us apart." It was the truth, he was her world; wether he realized or not.
