idk...in fourth grade we had clarinet, flute of trumpet for our choices. i told my mom clarinet or flute and she got me a clarinet (sooo glad. flutes aren't my personality biggrin ) anyways, i tried bass clarinet which was fun, but i didn't like playing two instruments...so i quit bass sad then i quit instruments altogether and joined guard... sad only now i realize i love low woodwinds...esp. contrabass clarinets heart heart heart

I play trombone but I could've played percussion and I sort of regret my decision but at the same time there's just so much percussion that we can't even get all of them in the band room with their equipment so they have to take turns.

Eh. Playing clarinet was cool for a while but now it's kind of boring. I did bassoon for a year in HS and loved it, but I'm only in marching band now and we obviously don't march bassoons. xD I would switch if I could.

Not at all! I wanted to play the trumpet, but could never make a noise. Then I wanted to play sax, but I couldn't. Eventually I went to clarinet cause I wanted something that usually played the melody, and now I play bass clarinet...

I'd like to play something with actual music or tone, besides just being part of the percussion. I usually play keyboard or piano if the song needs one. sweatdrop

Not this year. I wanted to play trumpet for marching season but my B.D. put me full time on horn instead.
