The fall to the floor would hurt a little bit, but it was more of one those it'll hurt more tomorrow type of deals. Landing on the ground, Seth would slide for just a little bit, but he would start to get back up as soon as he stopped. As he started to get up, Seth saw out of the corner of his eye the little fairy coming down at him.
His first gut reaction was to swat Esouna, and swat he did. Resting on his right elbow, he swung his upper body around, bringing his left arm and fan up in the air. The fairy if hit by the edge of the fan would fine a nasty little surprise. The fans were really stainless steel fans, covered in cloth. Because of this, Seth kept the edges on them sharp. With any luck, he would be cutting the fairy. If not hopefully he would at least hit her.

If Seth noticed her as she came down, the swat simply wouldn't be fast enough. The man had to shift his weight and swing his arm, while Esouna only had to continue her drop at him. Remember, Seth's head hit her arms, so the fairy couldn't be very high up.
The man's arm hit one of her wings, though. She would fall onto his body in a much less controlled manner, with her wingspeed altered so suddenly. The distance couldn't be shorter, but you know that feeling you get when you descend the steps in the dark, and you think you're at the bottom but there's actually one more step? You lose your balance when your foot goes that extra six inches. This is a lot like that, for Esouna. Anyway, the fall would place her face-down on Seth's back, her face turned to the right. Oof.
This didn't change her plans. The fairy quickly reached up to grab...well, his hair was there, so she'd go with that. Wait, no; last time she tried that, the Gaian's hair had slipped out of her fingers. It had some kind of oil in it (hair gel).
Instead of attacking, Esouna found herself flummoxed by indecision, one hand outstretched.

With Esouna on his back now, Seth's first gut reaction was to just simply roll over, and he did. Since he was already in a good position to do so from his last move, Seth just shifted his weight a little more again and went rolling to his right. He was unsure if this would work, or what kind of damage it would do, but being that it took place just a split second after Esouna landed on him. It also seemed like she didn't know what she was doing, or was more stunned then he thought.
The reason he thought this was because, from what he could tell, she didn't grab anything on him. If this was true then there must have been something up. As Seth did the roll though, he did make sure that he didn't put all of his weight on Esouna. Last thing he needed would be to kill his opponent. He achieved this by simply bending his arms a little bit and land on his elbows.
Not really caring what happened to the fairy, Seth knew just in case, that he didn't want to be on top of her for to long. Waiting for a few seconds, he would continue rolling, hoping to be rid of her. After a few more quick rolls to get away, Seth stopped and stood up with both fans still in hand, and looking over to where Esouna, was hopefully laying there.

Seth would hear the star of, presumably, a foreign word. Basically, in Esouna's indecision, she was unprepared for suddenly having 4 to 6 times her weight pinning her down, and she got out her language's version of "Oh shi--" before suddenly being silenced.
Head turned to the side, she might have been able to breathe were her lungs not flattened. Think! The fairy tightened up her core muscles, everything in her torso. This pushed against Seth's body, giving her vital little volume for her lungs. The late Acropolis had once tried crushing her while she did this, and likened her torso to solid steel. Underneath her opponent, Esouna could breathe the stale, dense air in short, staccato breaths.
Now, Seth's body may have pushed her head onto the floor as well as her legs, but bones were strong, and Esouna only felt discomfort in those areas. The combination of all these stresses, compounded with her current pains, made her lose awareness of the tendrils entirely. In short, they vanished.
She had an opportunity, though--since her arm had been outstretched when the pinning occurred, it was still up there at The man's neck. At her third short breath, the fairy tried to grab at something. This "something" would be the back of her opponent's neck, specifically, to the right of the spine. There, she could grip at the dense muscle underneath the skin.
Esouna couldn't direct all her strength into puncturing the skin there; she had to keep her midsection tense for the sake of breathing. The grip was strong enough to be very much OWPAIN, and for her to hold on through whatever Seth did--and the rolling surely would be very painful for the fairy. After the fact, her expression would change from one of angry determination to...kind of sad, really, with her eyebrows raised like the appropriate smilies.

Seth would feel the pinch on the back of his neck and it hurt. If he could jump straight up from the lying down position, he would. However, since he couldn't he would continue to go with his last plan. Just keep rolling.
Since he was resting slightly on his elbows already from before, the second roll would come very easy. Pushing off the ground, Seth rolled to his right again, going as fast as he could. He hoped that Esouna wouldn't let go when she realized what was happening. On this roll though, Seth would apply a little more of his weight then before. However, he wouldn't have her trapped under him for to long. No, he would continue rolling. Using the momentum from the first roll, the second one would be harder. The last thing that was special about this second roll, would be that before fully rolling over, Seth pushed his left side down faster then normal. He hoped that this would slam Esouna into the ground a little bit.

That attack would work perfectly. Seth's shoulder came down on the fairy's torso, slamming her against the ground. Since her torso was still tensed up, this wouldn't hurt too much, but it still taxed the fairy's weakening resolve. Esouna grunted when the shoulder hit--she couldn't take so many hits, over and over again like this.
When Seth completed his roll, he would drag Esouna along. She'd had enough of this, so instead of letting herself get pinned again, she planted her feet on the ground before her body could be dragged under Seth again. Here, she relaxed her torso muscles, only to strengthen her grip on her opponent. Hopefully, she could punch through the skin and neck muscles with her steel-rending fingers. Luckily for Seth, this wouldn't go through the spine or vertebrae.
By her expression, the fairy seemed...dejected, like she really needed a break from all the pain.
