Huang could tell his master was getting agitated, and couldn't blame him. Jianyu had been clinging to him for the past ten minutes as Huang had battled, defended and avoided getting killed by ghostly apparitions. while he wasn't a believer in souls and the ghost of the dead, he was not a conduit that communicated with them and thought the situation abnormal.

"I can't just get..."
Huang waved his hands as he followed his master into the the thicket of woods, "...Rid of them. I don't know they reason behind what is going on and its hard to tell what this battle is even about." Huang could feel his anger mounting. All this because a stupid forest sprite had decided to scare them? Or worst keep them trapped? No way in hell was Huang staying in the forest.

He could see Jianyu though was becoming ill with the fear of the ghost and that terrified him, they we're on a battlefield regardless of it being supernatural and he needed to get Jianyu away as soon as possible. As if hearing his mental pleas, a break through the forest was coming through the canopy, oddly enough looking like sunlight. As it touched the ghost, their bodies disappeared until the sunlight had hit everyone that had remained. The field was empty now, once the sound and clash of battle was a silent if not a bit of peaceful of a field. The sunlight disappeared again being replaced by the small shimmer of moonlight.

"I think..." Huang collapsed on the field, His body felt so tired, and heavy, a sickeningly sweet smell filled him, making his mind tired and his body exhausting, causing him to sleep, His last thought was if Jianyu had the same phenomenon happening as well.

Stumbling blindly through the woods was not particularly entertaining. However, at least the ghosts had gone, in that strange and slightly disturbing flash of light that had come and gone in a matter of seconds. Now they were back to the darkness, the only source of light the bright, full moon over their heads. Jianyu's hair fell across his face in unruly, messy streaks, and he was soaked with sweat and dirt. He felt overly tired and shaky, as if he had gone for several days without eating. The unsteadiness of his legs was not due to malnourishment however, but rather the result of his anxiety and fear of the situation at hand.

Jianyu barely had time to turn and throw out his arms before Huang collapsed, his eyes falling shut. The unexpected weight made Jianyu's feet skid in the soft earth, and his legs gave way, sending them both crashing to the ground. Jianyu's fingers ran lightly over Huang's face, automatically checking for injuries, but there were none, at least none visible.

"Huang, wake up. Huang - "

He did not get to finish his sentence. A sickly sweet scent filled his senses and Jianyu wavered, his eyes fluttering. He let go of Huang, laying him down on the ground, and tried to reach for his bow, but it was like moving underwater. His movements were slow, drugged, and Jianyu did not have the strength to move. He collapsed beside Huang, on his side facing him, and had time to reach for the younger man's hand before his eyes were forced shut and he was pulled into sleep.

Dawn filtered through the serene forest, laying its sunbeams of wrmth on the faces of the two sleeping men, laying in the forest. A figure of a woman, the tree sprite who had only been playing with them, fingered the one of Jianyu's cheek before going to the one of Huang's cheek before snickering at them.

They had been amusing to play with, but she had to admit, that their relationship was still unsure of even to herself, they had failed and passed tribulations together, though the one she worried about more was Huang, while strong and loyal to Jianyu, he had his moments where she thought for sure he would lose his friendship over his mistakes. She had been stalking them the whole time through the woods as she watched them interact, and even as she threw the ghost at them, she watched as they banded together, Pupil defending master, Master defending Pupil.

"You both will have such times ahead of you."
She whispered before disappearing into the sunlight. Hopefully, through her own amusement, the two men learned something about each other. and she hoped, for the sake of Huang, that he realized to appreciate how much Jianyu had done.

~~~
Huang woke as he felt his face warmed considerably, light filled his vision as he pushed himself off the ground looking around dazed and confused. The events of the night before had played in his mind as the memories flood back and he sighed, through the ghost, getting lost and the whole evening in a whole, he was surprisingly relaxed.
He looked to Jianyu in worry before bending down and prying his master to awaken. It was time to leave this place, and this time, Huang wouldn't leave Jianyu again.
"Jianyu, It's time for us to go." Huang whispered to his friend, awakening him slowly.
