 What was this? An underfoot Aeon? Beaker crossed her little turtle arms and stepped in front of the little Pichu's path. Beaker looked sternly at the little Pichu.

The doctor paused as she was suddenly confronted with a request to help. She frowned a moment, but an idea quickly came to mind. "Actually yes, you can round up all these stray Pokemon and get them out of the way. Its crowded enough as it is to not have my staff tripping over Pokemon or having them get in the way. Keep people out of the rooms as well, visitors will be allowed in later."
The critically injured grunts were being attended to as quickly as possible. The doctor went in to the room where the grunt with burns was being worked on. Pulling on gloves and a mask, she went to work. Bullets were removed, blood transfusions given, wounds stitched up, and burns attended to. However, she would be back to check on Kofuku eventually.
Meanwhile Seth was placed on a bed in a nearby room. He was quickly hooked up to a monitor that measured his vitals, as well as IVs and lines for his transfusion. As intravenous fluids flowed into his body, he seemed to become a little more aware. This being about the time TRP came in. He grunted at her in response. Oxygen masks were not easy to talk through.
"I've been better," Nikki confessed to Hayes, grimacing as she shifted in attempt to make herself more comfortable.

Patches picked up the bandana to cling to anxiously, about to nod tearfully to Leo in thanks, but became confused as the hatted Pickachu was suddenly plucked up by the white-haired-scientist-lady.
He stared in bewilderment at the spot where Leo had disappeared over the bench before looking over to the albino Squirtle that materialized next to them, remembering her as one of the pokemon in the water. He simply shook his head wearily at her inquiry. "V-v-vee..."
He shuddered a bit, but had his attention adverted as a small Pichu came dashing down the corridor.

There was a muffled "Hmph" at that. Seth's brows furrowing slightly as he looked over TRP. She wasn't looking all that great either, despite the fact she wasn't injured.
He made a slight motion of his hand towards her, trying to indicate something or another. One of the nurses noticed and told him to stay still.

"Careful. You flail around too much and they'll have to knock you out. I hear they're looking for any excuse to start jabbing folks full of sedatives."

Kofuku was keeping an incredibly close eye to both the screen of the machine monitor and to Seth himself. Glancing up at TRP, she offered the other Elite a small smile and a salute before turning her attention back to Seth. Her main concern and fear was that something was going to go wrong with the blood transfusion or that his body was going to go into a full shock, or worse yet he'd go into a comatose state. She didn't have much training done in this sort of situation, but from what she'd read in the books, it was bad if a patient went unconscious in these situations.
A small, rather relieved smile came over her face as she realized that TRP was probably the best thing in that room to keep him conscious and well responsive. Looking around the room, she brought a small chair over from the corner, offering it to TRP. "Here, you look like you could use a seat, ma'am." Her hands were trembling slightly as she set the chair down.

Emilie nodded briskly, taking Leo's pokeball out of her pocket and tapping it as she walked over to Nyx. "Sorry buddy, time to get out of the way." She smiled apologetically at the white haired grunt cuddling the pikachu. "Think this pretty pidgeotto's enough to keep you company?" she asked, gesturing towards Yamir. "If he stays on your shoulder I think you can keep him out."
Taking a spot on the bench under which the combination eevee and Haye's pikachu were, she looked underneath and addressed them. "Either of you want to help me catch the pichu bouncing off the walls?"

"I... can't put him in his ball... Jen's..." Nyx trailed off and stared at the door again. It would seem, with the Police as serious as they are about taking down Team Rocket, they would do well to invest in a psychologist. That or they might have a bunch of PTSD Rockets running around the base.

Yamir chirruped his confirmation at Nyx's words and glanced again at the double doors his trainer had been taken behind. He was trying to keep Nyx from going into shock and winding up in a bed herself but there was little the bird pokemon could do until the doctors brought his trainer out into one of the free rooms.
Aeon stopped and glared at the "almighty" squirtle infront of him and growled a warning, letting sparks fly from his cheeks. He snapped at the water pokemon.

Aeon, again, growled at the water pokemon. He was about to attack when one of the nurses came walking over to where Nyx and Yamir were sitting.
Beaker forgotten, Aeon zipped over to the white-haired scientist and jumped on the bench to hear what was going on.
The nurse smiled gently at the pale scientist, taking a quick glance down at the clipboard in her arm before turning to Nyx again. "Are you Nicole Wattson?"

Oh god, this was it. "Y-yes..." Don't throw up. Don't throw up... We regret to inform you was what Nyx was expecting this nurse to say next. Beaker waddled over and climbed up onto the bench to sit next to her Trainer. Hey! They almost matched colors!

The nurse opened her mouth only to shut it and look away for a moment as a doctor running around shouted an order at her before running into another room.
"Im sorry about that. Very busy." She paused, trying to get her bearings before motioning Nyx to follow. "What I was about to say is your partner, Jennifer Walker, has been moved from surgery and into this room here." She stopped and motioned towards the door infront of them.
"You are welcome to stay here if you like. However, we dont know when she's going to wake up."
With that, the nurse rushed off. Busy day indeed.

Nyx stood and picked up Aeon before following the nurse. At least now the Jen was out of surgery and not immediately dead, Nyx could stop being nauseous and get some of her color back. This was too surreal, like at any time Nyx would wake up and everyone would be fine, no gun shots, no explosions. She would just wake up and She and Jen would be laying in their beds in their new room. Then Nyx could tell Jen about this freaky dream she had.
This wasn't a dream. She walked through the door to Jen's recovery room.
