A little more clarification on the floor. It is, in fact, a marble-like material. I say marble-like because the floor is meant to be destroyed if a large amount of force that super humans are capable of throwing around is thrown into it. I suppose I should have added more detail on this since I wasn't thinking about everyone's needs. It makes up for the "no immediate soil" that usually softens landings. Underneath is soil and natural earth, and some stone, so earth users aren't completely gimped. You'll just have to put some work into summoning it through the floor, which isn't really hard with a couple of posts.

As for KB, this is actually pretty difficult to rule. Your character's weakness shouldn't be a weakness that is suddenly removed just because it will be a weakness that kills you instantly if you go into sunlight. If anything, I'm throwing a 50/50 ruling on this. The sun is shining at an angle during a different time for your fight, meaning that shadow covers the east half of the ring, but doesn't cover the west. Plus, if anything, I expect KB to be intelligent and just walk into the fight with a cloak on. That way, he has to realistically protect himself from the sun and his opponent, because I expect people to deal with their flaws to make a believable and more interesting character. I can't just give you a roof cover like that. A vampire entering a tournament is common. A vampire entering the tournament weak to sunlight is not. Therefore, they should compensate for this. Tournaments are often day events.

I like marble, its beautiful, symbolic, and squishy compared with stone. kind of like the "brass" of the rock family.
I've heard of a lot of different explanations for vampires vs. sun. There's the magical light = holy damage, which can be blocked by something like a cloak, then there's the "needs thick walls in pitch black room" ultra violet radiation light, that even if you are in the shade of a tree, you take some damage.

So, I saved my edited GTB profile in a Private Message, which I apparently deleted sometime ago. Apparently. Considering that it is no longer there.

Anywho, I was wondering if it would be possible for you to send me what you've got on record for my profile. Supposing there is a record, that is.

It's handy to have it to look at, and I've only got the un-updated version from the original old Word file.

Ironically the same thing happened to me. I've got older profiles saved from some role playing gateway and in my journal but I'm not so sure in retrospect. Hopefully issues won't come up.

I was so careful to save it too. Damn. Oh well.
Agreed, I hope it's sorted out. For myself and you as well.

I don't like looking at an age-old Word file that I know is out of date.

I think Gaia's PM system has changed since I last paid attention or something, I used to have messages going back years.

Thanks. I'll save it on my journal this time. If it disappears from there, well, I'll have to kill someone.

Just a question out of total curiosity. What if two people face off that are capable of flying; if both characters enter the air at the same time, and stay in the air for more than ten seconds, how do you determine that?

Are both people DQ'd, or is it safe to assume that the first person who touches the ground wins/loses or...?

OMG. It's the Vahn vs. Viper conclusion all over again!

Wait, why you asked? Someone shenanigan physics again?

XD More-so because someone asked me on MSN. I mean, I know Vince is capable of flying, though strained and not for very long, but I'm sure other people are capable of it also.

So I was seriously just curious how you would grade who got DQ'd and who didn't. XD

It would be a double count and left up to judging with scoring. It's no different than a double KO.

Alright. Thanks for the clarification.

Win Strategy:

-Fly in the air with them in your arms.
-Get in DQ range.
-USE SUPER-POWER WEIWEI FORCE to hurl them above you.
-Free-fall and hit the ground first / in time.
-Put a thumbtack where they're gonna land.

I call it Dominion.
