XXXXX"I accept your challenge Nero," Axel grinned as he now stood up from against the tree and now walked over to Nero. He had been waiting for this since he had first met Nero, the motivation. Using his analytical skills, Axel believed that he finally figured Nero out, taking note of how he reacted towards different people, of his mannerisms, of his expressions, of the words he chose to use and how offensive he got towards Axel all because he called him a kid once. Taking a single step past him, he had his hands inside the pockets of his robe as he stood between Nero and Deil. It was more symbolic than anything, else, signaling Deil that he better not interfere with Axel's actions. "Nero, since our great and wise Mizukage has me as your sensei, then I am now 'ordering' you," he said, still with the same boastful grin etched across his face as he put further emphasis on the word order, "to report to the Training Dojo located about half a mile southwest of this exact location. Failure to report to the dojo will result in being reprimanded for insubordination...and honestly, it's gonna be less painful for you and less of a hassle for me if you just show up," he finished, raising his hand as he pointed towards the dojo. The path from the gates forked to the right, which led directly to it.

࿇ Outou herded her sons through the quieter side streets of Kirigakure, cutting across the main gates as they headed away from the beach and towards their home, Zane's dojo. Crossing the main path that ran in front of the gates, Outou heard a familiar voice and paused, listening. Sounds like Axel is arguing. And mentioning Zane? Pink eyes turned and scanned through the various people in the crowd to spot her brother in law. It wasn't like Axel to bring his brother into a fight, and Outou was curious as to whom the discussion was with. Walking towards her brother's voice, she heard another argue back just as heatedly, and then Axel
"Axel." Outou greeted softly, her sons following behind her, pink eyes turning to Nero behind dark sunglasses. She had heard the Axel's rebuttle against the boy's words, reaching her brother in law's side just as Nero turned to address the Mizukage. What a mouth. Outou thought, looking Nero over. "How fortunate." She spoke, voice calm, almost in a complete monotone. "I was just returning there. Nero, is it. Follow me, if you will." Outou was known all over the village for being a deadly force, something to be disgusted, but she never paid any attention to the whispers. Taking off her sunglasses, pink eyes stared at Nero before going over to Deil, recognising him as the new Mizukage. She bowed her head in greeting, but said nothing. As a civilian, what had she to say? Respect, Outou believed, was always given accordingly.

Hyouton Nero | Genin | Kirigakure "If it can be done...  "Ehhh....sure." He said. He knew her face. He raised an eyebrow, instantly able to tell this person wasn't somebody he wanted to say no to. Axel was one thing, but this person...this girl...she had an intimidating trait that scared him a bit, thought he didn't show it.
He followed her, as she requested, for whatever reason she had. Walking behind her. "Where are we going, uh...what was your name again?" He asked, timidly, watching his words, making sure not to offend her.

Maqui now recognized the path they took, heading towards the very gates of Kirigakure. He had not known where they were going at first, however, neither his mother nor himself enjoyed walking through vast crowds. He was feared throughout the village, just as his mother was feared. Not because he had any particular skill, nor was it because he had done anything to earn that fear, it was because of his mother. His mother lost control of her clan's abilities many years ago, it got to be sort of a nasty habit that buildings suddenly caught on fire or the village was being terrorized by some sort of phantom. It was all caused by his mother, to the point where they feared her loss of control. They believed that because Maqui took after his mother, that Maqui too would loose control of his powers. They whispered behind his back that he was the second coming of the Smiling Demon. Maqui did not let their words bother him, he took it as a sort of compliment...something to strive for, to truly earn the fear that they showed towards him.
"Uncle Axel," Maqui greeted, bowing his head slightly to show respects to his uncle, even though he was getting rather loud and arguing with someone who was clearly younger than Axel was. Of course, Axel was always the most heated. He never took kind to authority, never kept his emotions in check, and always got himself into some sort of trouble. At least that's what his father told him. Something to do with Axel's past and how he was held captive for a long time by the Mizukage before his father. However, Axel's biggest strength was his passion. His father once told him that Axel had saved his life numerous times due to his medical training. Looking at the young man that Axel was talking to, Maqui tilted his head to the side as he wondered just what it was that made him talk to his uncle so. The eleven year old simply watched silently as he turned to the Mizukage, this time giving a deep bow, showing just exactly how properly he was raised. "Lord Mizukage," he said simply as both a greeting and a goodbye before standing beside his mother.

࿇ Outou nodded and turned, eyes turning to her sons to see they were still with her - she had a habit of needing to see them to know they were alright - before turning back to Nero when asked for her name. "Outou Hajime." He spoke, eyes sharp and mind even sharper. She knew this boy had started to act differently when she addressed him, compared to how he had spoken to Axel, and she wondered if it was her presence or past that was influencing the boy so. "Depending on who you talk to." She added, meaning she was known by many other names as well. 'Smiling Demon' was the original nickname she received. "You will refer to me as Mrs. Hajime." Turning, she began to lead the three boys to her home. "We are going to the Dojo. Where you will be trained." Outou's words were sharp, precise, and fluent. Spoken as if she were of noble birth, by all intents she was. Outou was raised to be the head of a clan - a powerful and deadly clan. Even her posture was different from other shonibi. "Or," She paused, not turning to look at Nero at all. "You can just stay here and continue what you were doing previously."

Hyouton Nero | Genin | Kirigakure "If it can be done... "Oh..no...no training sounds good." He said, feebly. He knew it probably wasn't going to be simple training, but he could care less. He wasn't in the mood to fight Axel, and in his current state, he'd probably get roasted. Literally and figuratively, so he followed her. "It's nice to meet you." He said, walking beside her. He frowned slightly. He had no idea where they were going really, other than to the dojo, but exactly what they'd be doing, he was unsure.
He swallowed, and sighed. he was probably going to regret asking what he did next, but he asked it anyways. "I don't mean to sound rude...but...exactly who are you?" He asked. He didn't stop walking as he asked this, continuing to follow her to the Dojo.

Mileena nodded at Deil's reason for bringing them both here. That was the only obvious reason after all. After Kiyoko was finished with her plan on what could be appended into the new structure of the gate, Mileena decided to give an idea of her own. "Like I wrote before, though you didn't get a chance to read it, we could reuse the more stable pieces of lumber that we've already stacked into the pile, and retrieve more that are just as strong. With the right tools and enough capable construction workers, we could build the gate in a different structure than it was before. The lower section of the gate could be around six to twelve inches perfectly away from the ground for easy opening and closing so as to prevent sounds of any sorts to alert a would be spy of an arrival or departure to or from the village". Mileena considered her own plan for a moment while her eyes searched the sky for some divine clue. One million and one ideas presented themselves, but she decided to go with one for now. "I also think that if we station two guards to the top of the gate, two on the inside, and a lone guard on the outside, defense would increase tremendously. The guard on the outside would be for scouting purposes. He or she would most likely be very skilled in the art of stealth, and be able to easily traverse the mist and search in a wide arc for any possible intruders. The extra guard atop the gate would be for precision. People make mistakes, and it is easy for a lone guard to not notice someone approaching. I think that would do for the strategic part". Mileena did her best to ignore the little skirmish that took place between Nero and Axel.

࿇ Outou nodded once more and again continued to walk the path that would take them to her husband's dojo. There was a time when every genin knew where the dojo was, and nearly every one of them wanted to become a student there. Outou was one of the very few to actually get assigned to Zane as a student, the rest Zane just took in to train in their spare time between missions and training with their sensei. Placing her sunglasses back on, the pink-eyed woman kept herself looking straight ahead, not diverging from her path, as the residents of Kirigakure they did pass parted for her.
"I am Outou Hajime." She responded, not pausing, only a block away from the dojo now. "Wife to Zane Hajime, mother to Yuj and Maqui Hajime, and head of the Kuranma clan. A retired Chuunin, however, I am more commonly known as the 'Smiling Demon', the destroyer of the Mist Hospital, a seductress, and a slaughterer." Every word was spoken without any emotion, just calm and factual, as though it had no emotional meaning. Outou had always been gifted in hiding her emotions, but her love for her husband and children was real.

Hyouton Nero | Genin | Kirigakure "If it can be done... Nero raised an eyebrow. Did she say...demon? And destroyer of mist hospital? And even...slaughterer? I should have just stayed in bed... He thought to himself, somewhat worried. He decided to simply continue to follow her though, against his better judgement.
"So you're the wife of Zane? The same Zane that Axel is always talking about, I presume?" Nero said, curiously, though he had a feeling he was right about the
Zanes.

XXXXX"Hey Deil...I'm gonna need two more, just send them to the Sakubatsu Dojo, and I'll get to work on the hospital as well," Axel told him before he got a chance to respond and leaped upwards unto the branch of a tree. Squatting, Axel leapt to another tree using the strength of his legs to send him flying through the air. Axel leapt from tree to tree, heading towards the dojo.

{I'm sorry for how long it has taken me to post guys. Cobra and I spearheaded the genjutsu system project, and I'm searching for jobs, so I ran out of time each day to post here. But the system's pretty much complete and will be posted tomorrow, so I'm back on track.}

Thought he knew the Gates were supposed to be on the forefront of his attention, his thoughts had trailed off so that he was only half listening to the things going on around him. The mist had reminded him of the smoke on the eve that the bijuu had attacked Konoha, the smell and sound of splintering wood had reminded him of the bijuu crushing the forest, and before he knew it he was having a full blown flashback of the night he and Misuki had had to fight for their lives. His eyes unfocused, hands went slack, and his breathing became more rapid. Images of the dead and the fear enveloping those of the great fight flooded his mind. The words of those around him echoed and mixed with the sounds of the past. All of a sudden the flashbacks stopped as Axel called out his name and told him what he needed and would be doing. Deil shook his head briefly like he was trying to get something out of his hair, and then stood. "Alright, I'll see you guys around then. Make sure you don't push each other too hard though." He then looked at the two Mayu who had been talking to him, and had to come up with some sort of response with the parts of the conversation he had caught. Alright, so we'll definitely reorganize the guards to provide better surveillance, and it's true that hinges are essentially the main weak point of gates if overlooked by engineers, so we'll work on improving those. But what about the structure of the gates themselves. Do you have any ideas that would help support the wood more or allow the guards to observe with minimal exposure to themselves?" He looked passed the gate boundary and saw that there was a new ninja there as well as the carpenters and supplies he had asked for. He motioned for the carpenters to come on over. "Whoever among you has the most work in walls and foundations can plan with these two on how the gates should be constructed. I'll work with the rest of you to move compile our good materials at a work station so we can start building." And with that he picked up several of the timber used in the original gate and hauled them passed the place where it used to stand before dropping it off near the group of carts and beasts of burden that contained the rest of the supplies. On his way, he said to the newly arrived ninja, "Hey, thanks for coming! I have enough workers here for now, so would you mind going to my office and helping the group there? If they left by the time you get there, one of my clones I left behind will direct you where to go." The other carpenters soon followed suit while the one he had requested for specifically came over to the Mayu with his pack mule. He looked at them a little skeptically because they didn't have anywhere near the build carpenters have, and he didn't exactly like the who situation of having a Suna nin govern them anyway. "Alright girls, what do you have in mind?" he asked as he pulled out a collapsible wooden table and some extra wide scrolls meant for drafting blueprints.

Naomi waited for a while for a response and unfortunately the others were too busy to even notice her. Yet, there was someone who noticed her. The Mizukage himself addressed to Naomi, telling her something that should be expected already, considering the number of people working by the gates. "Oh...alright! I'll be going to your office then. Thanks!" the young kunoichi replied and turned around. 'To his office!' she thought and made her way towards the Mizukage's office, where she would be able to find something to do. Helping the group or being directed to somewhere else, she was not sure but she would do it.

Mileena ignored the man's skeptic look and took the scroll and took out her own pencil and began drawing up all the things she had in mind for improving the gate. It included all the things she described to Deil, with the addition of Kiyoko's plan and a few more details. Once she finished drawing to the best other abilities, she handed the scroll to the man and watched the look on his face for the positive reaction she was expecting. The man's smiled said it all, and he immediately relayed the plan to the other workers.

Kiyoko looked over the plans as mileena drew. She didn't have to pitch any more ideas in it was fine as it was. She had a feeling this gate was going to last a good long time and she was happy to have been able to help. She sat with her kinsemen as the construction began to take place. They didn't allow her to help and it aggravated her but there wasn't much she could do. She smiled as the work started to finish up. She was proud of what they were doing

Mileena watched the men work on the gate, lifting the wood and and stacking them neatly in a pile to be used later. They shaved the tattered pieces of wood, giving them smooth, perfect edges, and did the same with the entire surface. While Deil helped with the gate, Mileena couldn't believe how easily they all got along, despite the talks she's been hearing around the village about how much everyone distrusted the new Mizukage. It was something she had known would happen eventually, but actually seeing it now made her smile. The villagers were slowly but surely beginning to put their trust in Deil. This became even more evident when a crowd of onlookers watched them do their repairs with smiles and soft murmurs.~Reconstruction of Village Gates: 10/15~ "Your simple minds will never comprehend the depths of my despair.
