Kai turned to Rei and then offered him a handshake. Then, Kai smiled at her. "I'm still a Gennin and in-training. Yes, I do believe we medical-nin need a lot of focus and Chakra control. After all, out Chakra are the ones doing the saving." He said and then continued eating his ramen. "Nice to meet you, by the way, Rei Shirogane." He said suddenly. Oh, really, being a Gennin is no fun at all. He wanted to be high-ranked already to do some cool missions and of course get to improve his medical skills at once. He sighed to himself because of the frustrations of being a Gennin.

Ace looked at Kai's expression. It was like him to subconsciously observe someone and read their expression. "There's nothing wrong with being a genin. Just train hard till' you can become strong! Anyone can have label on themselves, but that doesn't change who that person is. I can't even control my chakra that well, but it's cool, I'm still 13, we're all young." he chirped, looking like a child as his expression was that he was sitting straight, arms crossed, and his signature grin splattered on his face. Thought he was immature, Ace can be mature, but it's instinctive.

Rei shook Kai's hand worldlessly and nodded. "I was just wondering. Yes, medical-nin are important around here, anywhere, in fact. Nice to meet you as well." She said in her normal quiet voice as she tipped her hat only slightly. She looked at Ace for a moment. "True. But age has nothing to do with it as long as you show your capability."

Kai gave off a sudden laugh and then turned to Ace. "Do I look frustrated that much?" Kai asked and then turned to his ramen once again. "Being a Gennin, I'm really disturbed by this. I think that being a Gennin is really annoying. Sometimes, people look down on you even though you really needed to prove a lot for yourself." He said and then ate some ramen. True, even though you haven't started yet, a lot of people criticize you for what you reached so far and being a Gennin is no exceptions. Kai gets hurt by words easily that's why he is so disturbed by being a Gennin. He needed to be someone, someone who everybody respects and knows. But, how can he move forward when it's just the start and everyone are already frustrating you.

Ace chuckled at Kai. "Dude, you don't need to worry about what others assume about you. It's not really that important, honestly. You gotta just aim for your goals, and not give up. You don't have to care about your rank, just try your best." he said, smiling brightly. He then spun his chair to Rei. "Oh? So then, why are people so amazed when you become a chuunin at 9 or 7? Age is a number, same as a label."

Rei simply sighed. "Simple. They just don't understand. It's just a common popular way to think of things, that age actually matters." She answered, as if she'd thought about this before. She looked at Kai. "All you can do about that is keep moving and prove them wrong, is all." She must have sounded cliche, but she meant it seriously. Her hand absently messed with the special homemade weapon hanging still on her pants. Another habit. Definitely truly frustrated by his status. Understandable. She once again noted mentally.

"I know that already, nee-san!" Ace said in a mockingly whiny voice. He spun his chair back over to the chef. He searched through his bag and placed the money on the counter, ordering yet another bowl of extra spicy ramen, and eating it, with just a bit less haste.

Kai finally finished his ramen and then laid the chopsticks gracefully in the counter. He smiled at the owner and then pulled out some money from his backpack and then gave it to the man. Kai nodded respectfully at the owner. "Thank so much for the wonderful food." Kai said at him and then turned to Ace and Rei. "I want to move on, of course. However, it's hard with people around you putting you down, you know?" Then, he turned to Ace, whom began eating some ramen again. "Don't you get full, Ace-san?"

Rei raised an eyebrow at Ace. Well, being called nee-san was weird for her, but she was already a bit curious about how this boy was holding in so much food. "I was wondering the same thing."

Mana_ecl Zetsuya  Anirian Sannin Returning Another bad move on the part of the acting mizukage. Spazzy? That was like insulting her abilities, one which was a rather grave one. She kept her smirk though, considering she'd be back to return the favor of the mizukage's comment. The vanishing for a couple of years was probably a good decision, considering someone of her rank was probably likely to be a target of an angry mob.
"Let the rumors blow on through, so long as I don't have to shut 'em up," Anirian laughed, deciding that if one rumor would cycle through, why not give them a reason for another? A smirk upon her face, she winked at Zaine, a kiss blown ever so elegantly at the man. A little play never hurt, right? Surely, it would be noticed, nonetheless. She wasn't concerned about mobs. She hadn't been that well known, until the mizukage of the time had appointed her to the rank. Zaine chuckled wryly as she made her comment about the rumors, however when she blew the kiss to him he didn't act as she would have probably hoped, reaching out quick as a flash he took her hand in his and began to walk leisurely pace as if he and her were on a date, "I'm really glad you came back Ani, things were gettin boring without ya around." he said wryly, leaning over and pecking her on the cheek with a wicked grin. Looking back to Ookami he smiled, "Well that's all up to my lady friend here, what do ya say Ani?" he asked with a chuckle.

Qastor Sugino Sakada "Im gonna step outside a moment you kids try not to get in trouble while Im gone, or beat the crap out of one another." He muttered the last part to himself as he stepped out and pulled a sake bottle. He wasnt a very drinker but he felt inappropriate to drink in front of the younger masses of the population,"Well looks like nothing bad happened while I was gone." He smiled capping the sake, he had been standing by a bench and turned around to walk back for the ramen almost bumping into Anirian. For the better of both parties he managed to see her in time and stopped smiling nervously," Im sorry Ani-san, I almost didnt see you there." He stopped a blank dumb look on his face as he blinked,"Say what are you guys doing here.... well never mind. Im buying the Gennin some ramen, I could sure use some more understanding company, would you too like to join me, unless you have other places to go Zaine?" (Ignored T^T)
