Danica saw the boss in a chair turned away from her. "Boss, I have news..."
The boss turned the chair around and shocked Danica. The boss was a seven year old boy with blonde hair and brown eyes.
"Speak" He said in a kid voice.
"Ugh- um...I delievered the warning, but I don't think Lewis took it seriously." She said after studdering.
Danella went back to sleep.

"Thank you sir," Neti said and left with Tana. That was remarkably easy. I didn't even have to say anything.
"Mum, may I check out the college now? Just so I can be there before school actually starts."
Tana nodded and got in the car as Neti wandered towards the school.
"Mariah!"
Neti turned to see a handsome person biking up to her. "Hello!" Who is this?...oh right!
"Adrian, great to see you again. How was your summer?"
"Heh," the guy laughed, stopping his bike next to Neti and ruffling his messy blonde hair and glancing bemusedly at the lacy white dress Neti was wearing. "Fine, I guess. You? How was the Munich Tour?"
"I dropped," Neti said pleasantly. It was the excuse Tana had made for Neti's obvious distaste of sports. "I was getting really tired of all the practice and competition and all that. Too much work."
Adrian tried to hide his shock to little success--his face betrayed it obviously. But he mollified this with consenting words. "Erm... sure... um, in any case, are you riding Atesia during the Homecoming Game again? That was wicked fun last year..."
"I sold her," Neti replied simply, sitting on a bench.
Him, Adrian corrected mentally. Something was up. In his to months away, he'd obviously missed this dramatic change in his friend. With an apologetic laugh, he glanced at his watch and feigned surprise, "Oh shoot! I'm sorry, I have to dash. I'll see you in school then!" He climbed quickly back on his bike and raced away, but not before he thought he saw a familiar sight staring horror-stricken at him.

The name of her horse made Mariah's ears perk in interest.
"I sold her," a voice remarkably like Mariah's said. Atesia's a boy though... She looked around the street, suddenly glad for her dark clothes and the navy-colored ski cap over her hair.
With disbelief, she identified Adrian and Neti and realized that her mother was too proud to say they had acquired a double. She had been altogether eliminated.

Danella woke up and changed her clothes for the umtenth time. She looked out the window down onto the street. She say Neti and instatly bolted down stairs and outside. "Hey!" She called to her friend.
((Hope that's ok))
Bewildered Danica stumbled from the office and back to her own bunker room.

((It's great! Shall we say that Danica knew Mariah and thus their doubles know each other but they don't know yet that they are both doubles?

"Danica!" Neti called, racing across to greet Danella with a hug. "It's great to see you again. How have you been?"

"Not much," Neti replied. "School starting, homecoming--Did you get a date? Freshmen need dates to go, right? Pity. Anyways, did you want to come back-to-school shopping with me tomorrow? After that we could get our nails done!"

Eh? I never knew Danica liked shopping. Huh. Mariah continued to watch from the shadow, glad that she had never been one for tears, because tears definitely would have been appropriate around now.

"Great then!" Neti proclaimed. "I'll see you at 10:00 sharp tomorrow, at the Diner. We can have brunch before going shopping."
She laughed, a note more feminine than Mariah's laugh, and winked. "And Wednesday we can go to the beach and check out the guys."

Danica looked down the street from her window in the barics at her headquarters and saw Danella with what looked like Mariah. "What?!" She exclaimed and went out onto the street.
Danella smiled. "Yea, we can do that! I love guy watching" She said with a laugh.

"Great!" Neti said, thinking the same. That's probably the most successful incident from Mariah's list of old friends that converted. Eh...converted? "Shopping spree here we come!"

"Not possible," Mariah whispered as the doubled left the scene. She wandered into the light, now that the doubles weren't there. I'll have to change my plans tomorrow if I want to avoid them. I was planning on restocking school supplies along with the food and other household stuff. Maybe I'll grab the assignments tomorrow then. Or something.
She stared a moment longer after the doubles before turning, and that was when she saw Danica and pieced it together. With a wry expression, she joined her friend.

Danella went back up to her room. It's amazing that Danica's friend turned on her so quickly. It's hilarious acctually. Oh well, just shows how easily replaceable she is. Which is fine by my opinion. She's never going to get back now.
Danica saw Mariah and then the double. "Wait...what...How? I'm confused." She told Mariah as she approached.

Mariah must have had pretty crappy friends...or maybe she just wasn't a good enough friend. Look at that dramatic change in character Neti laughed and wandered back home, not seeing the original Danica or Mariah.

"Oh I see. Your parents too? My double's Danella. I hate her. I'm acctually about to destroy all the double processing plants, with the group I'm in." Danica replied hugging her friend. "Where you staying at?" She asked concerned.
Danella sat in her room cleaning a little, while she listened to music and sang, off key of course, but singing none the less.

"My mom only actually," Mariah said, hugging her as well. "My dad gave me money secretly and I was able to obtain a nice little shack on the edge of town. It's good enough, especially since I don't have to pay rent.

"Oh damn. Low blow. Well least you got a place to yourself. What about Atesia? How's he? I'm ok I guess. The group i'm in gave me a bunker with five other people, but it's good enough." Danica said pulling back from the hug.
