That doesn't really sound that bad, Baka. Or...I dunno. Depending on how your parents treat you, I guess.

Lol, as I said earlier that was kinda my friend's response when I showed her phantom "Why didn't you tell me Lady Van Tassel was in this movie!?" Sleepy Hollow is one of my favorites o_O;; I adore Tim Burton... (I think he should create a version of PotO...)

Me and some of my friends (Tim Burton and PotO fans, thanks to me) decdied that last year! surprised Before Corpse Bride came out, we figured he could just add a mask and cape to Jack Skellington and bam! theres Erik. And after watching corpse bride, we were all "Victor and Victoria would make a good Raoul and Christine" If he did, he'd have to create all new music, of course, so we'd have TWO PotO musicals (okay, we already had 2. We'd have THREE musicals!)

Danny Elfman would have to do the music and Johnny Depp would need to be in their somewhere because those three complete the "good movie triangle" my friend and I designed. (Sleepy Hollow, Corpse Bride, Edward Scissorhands, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.... PotO needs to be on this list... NEEDS IT) Actually I was on the Tim Burton forums and when I went to the suggested movies forum one of the first ones I saw was Phantom.. <3

BakaTulip Like no senior driving license, no ability to buy most of the stuff I wanna buy now that I'm out of the house (interpret that as you will). yadda yadda so on and so forth. Ouch. Just be glad you have a drivers liscence at all in the first place. I'm sixteen, and my mom isn't going to let me get one. Period. But, y'know, you can buy stuff without your mother's approval, just make sure it's without her knowledge as well.

I bought knives when I was 16. And swords, daggers, whips... But I look older than I am and know how to handle a blade, so I've only ever had one person at a shop ask me for my age before handing me the nice pointy weapon. Quote: Danny Elfman would have to do the music and Johnny Depp would need to be in their somewhere because those three complete the "good movie triangle" my friend and I designed. My friends have the same thing. *snrk* One girl I know has dubbed them the 'Holy Triumvate' of hollywood. Tim Burton is God, Johnny Depp is Jesus, and Danny Elfman is The Holy Ghost. *nods* She has a thing for religious imagery like that. But in seriousness, for a Tim Burton POTO they'd have to do it in some awesome form of puppetry or animation, with Johnny Depp voicing Raoul and Danny Elfman for Erik. Quote: Quote: If he did, he'd have to create all new music, of course, so we'd have TWO PotO musicals (okay, we already had 2. We'd have THREE musicals!) Okay, Fox, now you're making me jealous, which makes me more inclined to stalk you and steal your weapons and test them on you.
Or maybe I'll just go out and try it myself. Hmmm....

I figure they would probably do it NMBC/Corpse Bride style... which I think is insanely cool. But the three of them make for amazing movies... Also though I think Depp could do either Erik or Raoul and he has proof on like... both sides to be it. Why he'd be a good Raoul: He does the kind, romantic thing well, like Victor in Corpse Bride and um... a little bit of Ichabod Crane perhaps? But he could play the gentlemanly hopeless romantic who would give up all he had to be with the person he loved. Why he'd be a good Erik: He plays insane characters really really well... like in Secret Window, just totally out of touch with reality, psychotic, killing what is in his way. (Jack Sparrow was pretty insane too). Also I'm sure Tim Burton would love to do something like this because he has an affinity, so I've observed, for people who are deformed or awkward.

Quote: What? (I have a random sig generator) Just noticed that one of them is one I made. *snrk* I didn't know anyone had grabbed that. Quote: Okay, Fox, now you're making me jealous, which makes me more inclined to stalk you and steal your weapons and test them on you. *strikes a pose akin to Raoul in the graveyard scene* Haha! I should like to see you try. My friend Marc and I used to spend hours play-dueling and beating the snot out of each other with the cheaper, functional swords. I must say, I'm not bad. *twirls sword* But back OT, I'd rather see Johnny Depp as Raoul, just because Raoul never gets the hunky actors. Maybe Christopher Lee for Erik, since he's in a lot of Tim Burton stuff. Ooh! Or Ralph Fiennes... I think I could handle him if it was just his voice, since he's very good at disguising it. The spindly character style Burton uses for his stop-motion figures would lend itself wonderfully to Phantom, I think... Can't you just see Erik as a long-limbed little puppet man? And they could do the most awesome deformity if they didn't have to work with a physical actor.

That would be so wonderful! *happy squeeesh sound* Oh man, I REALLY hope he does this... I wonder what he would do with the plot though because I know we have ALL seen how insane some people have gone with the plot line.
