In Azzo's book she was deprived, not so much fail at life. He probably failed more at life for watching Barney and Sesame Street... though Sesame street and Fraggle rock (which his grandmother had gotten him one year for his birthday when they still had VHS tapes) both were awesome, so was Kermit. So he had no regrets despite failing at life.

"I keep telling myself the next big clearing... but we'll see." He answered. He was tired too, probably still from that stupid pillow. "Just keep swimming~ We'll get there eventually." He nodded.

And eventually they did get to the center... Azzo looked around and watched the Compass, making sure it wasn't just... being weird. "Now what??"
