Paestri's eyes widened as she watched the pot fall through the floor, saved from disappearing because of its handles. What would happen to it once the dust wore off, Paestri couldn't help but wonder. At Eeenie's instructions, Pae followed suit, scooting into the cupboard but pushing out more pots to make room for the both of them.
She piled some pots in front of them, as if to act as some sort of metallic blanket. Covering her mouth to stifle the giggles, Paestri looked at Aquene in mischievous delight.
Linneas was a few paces behind Neith, he was nervous and worried about what they would find. What if something had fallen on the babies? Would they need medical attention? So many questions and worst-case-scenarios played in the teen's mind.
'You need to calm down, she'll be fine. She takes better care of herself than you do.'

Eeenie giggled. She hadn't thought of making pots into a wall! She lowered down further behind the pots but it had been a good idea. They were in the darkness of the cupboard now, with the only light coming through the door.
"Huh?" Neith had been around Aquene long enough to know what an object in the ground meant. And she knew that if there was a pot in the floor, several more pots on the ground, and an open cupboard...
She loudly stated while staring at anything but the open cupboard, "Oh dear, Aquene seems to have turned into a pot. And take Paestri with her!"

Paestri tried her best to suppress her giggles, but it was proving rather difficult. Eeenie's mama was so silly, just like her own.
Linneas eyed the pot on the floor curiously before grinning to Neith. "Well that's not good, how can Pae halp make cookies if she has no hands?"

The dust was wearing off by now, anyone would see the pot giving distinct little twitches. As it wore off the pot edged out slowly inch by inch, till it bounced out of the tiles and fell with a clatter.
"Maybe we will have to cook cookies and then eat them all ourselves." Neith made a dramatic sigh, leaning down to pick up the pot. "We will set Eeenie and Pae pot on the floor and see if they turn back."

Cookies?! Did someone say cookies?! Paestri liked, no loved cookies, unless her mama baked them. Her mama wasn't very good with food. She glances to Aquene before peering through the wall of pots to see if the adults had gone. They could easily crawl back out without them knowing, they'd just think they had turned back to normal. It was perfect!
"We wait dem leave, den go out." she whispered to the fair haired girl.
"Yes, why don't we go back outside to gather the ingredients and come back later?" Linneas winked to Neith as he proceeded to walk out the kitchen.

Neith's keen ears picked up the whisper, but she didn't do anything more than nod at Linneas before following him out. She only went as far as the other side of the door, leaning against the wall as she waited.
Aquene nodded, peering out at the light kitchen from the dark of the cupboard. As soon as the adults were gone, she was climbing over the pots wall to get back out again.

Paestri followed after her friend and to 'finish' their little trick she once again caused the pots to clatter noisily to the floor. "Leeeneeeeee!!!" she squealed for her brother to come back and give them cookies.
Linneas was standing beside Neith, and like her, was waiting for some sign that the two were no longer hiding. The sound of crashing pots was obviously it.
"After you." He smiled to Neith.

Aquene pushed the pots behind them, beaming all over her face. She had tricked them with her friend! They were silly big people.
Neith grinned at Linneas, and entered into the kitchen again. She pretend to act all surprised as she looked down at them, exclaiming, "Why, they've turned back! And they brought lots of pots with them! Welcome back, you two."

Linneas followed in after Neith and scooped up Paestri into his arms. "Why don't we put all their pots in the cupboard? I'm sure they'll like living in their new home." he suggested.
Paestri snuggled against her older brother happily, she didn't know how much fun it would be tricking them into thinking she and Aquene had turned into pots.

"What a great idea, right, Eeenie?" Neith grinned, and let Eeenie 'help' her as she started to stack the pots back up again as neatly as she could. The fact that the cupboard had just been their nest didn't help, the pots had been muddled all over the place.
Eeenie helped too, she helped by touching htem as Neith did. They all got there safely, and no one would ever know that they weren't really pots!
Cookies now?

Linneas had managed to stack the pots in an organized manner for Neith. It was his talent, to get things arranged properly and orderly.
"There, all done. Now for the cookies." he grinned.
Paestri clapped in delight and anticipation. Please let these cookies be the sort they bought outside and not those mama had made.

"Cookies, hm." Neith placed Aquene down on a kitchen chair that had armrests, making sure the toddler was comfortable and balanced before heading over to the cupboard.
Boxes were everywhere. Neith wasn't even sure if she was allowed to take one of them out, but if she wasn't, she could always replace it with one she bought herself. So she took out a box of mixed cookies and held it out for the toddlers to pick a couple of cookies.
Aquene clapped her hands and made for two shortbread cookies.

Linneas placed Paestri in a chair similar to that of Aquene's before he searched for a stool. He waited for his sister and Neith to get some before he got any for himself.
Paestri eyed the cookies critically and reached out for a chocolate-covered strawberry flavored one. She had to admit she was drawn by how the colors resembled her.
