Quint smirked at Tek's reaction. The kid really seemed to be amused by the weirdest thing but he didn't see anything wrong with that. In fact he thought it was perfectly natural, yep! Quint relaxed gradually in the chair as he watched the movie with his sibling upon his person and soon found the small child sleeping upon him and he was starting to feel drowsy just watching him. Getting up and putting the kid in the crib seemed too much work and he was comfortable so why wreck a good thing?
The teen stared at the screen as his eyes drooped shut in longer and longer intervals and even his arms draped off the sides of the chair they sat in together while his body relaxed easily. Soon he was dead asleep along with Tek.
Meanwhile on the television a vampire exploded from a special bullet to the head. Sweet, sweet harmony.

The peaceful sleep the boys shared to the tune of brutal vampire slayings continued on, but a few blocks down something rather amazing happened. Well, in her mind it had been amazing.
Switch had taken the long way around the block to cool her head, wiping away the remnants of the tears from Quint's little talk with her. The blue haired woman had been on her way back, when she realized someone was ahead of her. On occasion a streetlight would illuminate the figure, and to her, there was no mistaking that mess of hair, or the way he walked.
She had called out to him, rushed over to him, and pulled him into a crushing hug until he started to hiss and urge her to stop; apparently he'd been hurt! Sure, this had happened before but...it still hit her hard every time. Though it didn't happen every time anymore, it still happened on occasion, and even this time she couldn't help it; She had started to cry, clinging onto him in a gentler fashion.
Switch knew all Kale could do was to smile apologetically and try to comfort her, and as well as that worked it never could answer her questions about the whole thing. Of course, she knew he would be tired and he certainly looked the part, and so she let him lean on her if he needed to, heading back home.
Quietly opening the door, Switch peered inside...and a brief glance around told her that Quint had fallen asleep in the living room, but she couldn't see Tek from here. Well, she just assumed that Quint was asleep from the way his head was tilted. Still, quiet was needed, she didn't want to wake her son.
Switch turned to stare at Kale, pressing a finger to her lips before pointing to Quint's sleeping form with that same finger.

While the physical pain certainly hurt...Nothing hurt more than when Switch cried. He held her and even leaned onto her a bit for he was tired. He had been on his way home in a bit of a daze until Switch called out to him and caught his attention which seemed to jolt life into him all together even if for a brief moment.
Soon they walked home together and they entered the home. It was indeed very quiet and as he glanced over to where Switch pointed he smirked a bit. His son had grown. Geeze he was a tall lanky sucker and he apparently grown...breasts? He saw a lump just briefly when Quint breathed out. Kale took Switch's hand and gently tugged her along to gaze at what it was and found that was Tek sleeping upon Quint's person.
Kale smiled a bit and glanced at Switch, "They have an awesome idea," he murmured lowly to her. He waited until she got a good view of the boys too before going anywhere toward their bedroom. Sleep sounded so good right now.

Switch grasped his hand and moved along with his gentle tug, peering over to see what it was he wanted her to see; Tek, sleeping peacefully on Quint. Her gaze softening, it took everything in her to stop herself from uttering an affectionate 'AWWWWWWW!' Luckily, she made no noise, and instead nodded to her mate, who looked just about as tired as she felt. They certainly did have an awesome idea.
Shifting closer to Kale, she led him to their bedroom, helping him change into new, clean clothes before changing herself. Then, crawling into bed beside him, she fell into a deep, content sleep. The first one in about a week.

Kale smiled at his mate and nodded a bit at her expression basically agreeing without anything needing to be said between them. It was a handy little connection one gets when they stay with someone for long enough and bother to remain open to their beloved. He squeezed her hand a bit and followed her into the bedroom.
He appreciated the help and crawled into bed and took off his glasses to set them on the nightstand nearby. As soon as Switch crawled into bed he took her into his arms and closed his eyes as he held onto her. The embrace was for him as much as it was for her and soon he too fell asleep, very happy to be gone from his usual unwitting time away from home.
Meanwhile Quint continued to sleep unaware that he'd been spied upon as a soft squishy brother-figure with a babe on his chest.
