I think I've got it! The first attack is simply auditory hallucinations, then the super version adds visual. So to keep with the "theme", I modified the third attack to include tactile hallucinations, intended to have the target harm themselves because they think bugs are crawling all over them. :O Now I think the attacks match.

Thank you so much for the crit, Guine! I really appreciate it. heart heart heart I chose "madness" as a sphere because I wanted to incorporate my own love of H.P. Lovecraft into a character. His stories were usually about the characters slowly going insane, and I loved his wildly vivid descriptions and symbols of sanity and how fragile it is. I looked up the word "insanity" and found that "madness" is an older medical term for psychosis, the most common symptom of which is distorted visual, tactile or auditory hallucinations, so I was trying to tie that all together under the sphere of madness.

I definitely agree that there should be some more madness to her life. I do have her loving all things H.P. Lovecraft and writing horror, and her parent's recent divorce is adding insanity to her emotional self, but I'll definitely be thinking about what else might be appropriate for her.

I love the suggestion of her searching for beta readers or writing her own horror stories to show to a small group of friends in the writing club or the Arkham Horror Society. That's a fantastic idea! And I didn't even think to figure out how she'd afford her hobby. I'll elaborate on what she does with the fiber arts - I've taken fibers, so I'm somewhat familiar with some of the facets. Christa does hand-dying and hand embroidery and bead work. Maybe a little crochet here and there, but not much. I'll see how I can work in all this info.

How does Christa respond to bed or negative responses to her works?

What if one of them went missing, or someone accidentally used one of her more precious ones?

What about at school, in combination with Prickly and Judgmental it seems Christa would have made a few enemies. How does she handle it when they attack her or spread gossip about her and the people she loves? What does she do about it?

First, I want to apologize if this comes out looking wonky. Using the netbook and the keyboard is very tiny and smooshed.

Next! I love the Lovecraft references *brofists* And I like the attack progression you have going on. Everything reads as very solid and thought out to me and I love what I see so far.

Now on to my only crit, which is really very tiny. You have focused as one of her virtues. What I want to know is if her being so focused can ever be turned against her. Does she ever get so focused on something that she misses the bigger picture? Is there ever a time when she is TOO focused?

In all honestly, that is really the only thing that makes me go, "Hey! Hey listen!" everything else looks truly lovely to me and if you get her, I want RP with you.

Hey there Lu! biggrin I'm here for a crit, and for starters, I think the idea of a Senshi of Madness sounds awesome. So let's get to it!

Writing I really like this. I don't think there is much else for me to say that except to ask does she like writing on a computer too, or notebooks only? Also, if she takes criticisms harshly, do her friends give her kind critiques?

Fiber Arts Its so nice to be reading a crit and think "Oh! I wonder if--" and then the reading answers the question I was about to ask. I was going to about what her subjects were and was delighted to find you kept with her horror theme! Though I don't necessarily want to see this in the quest, more like something to think of for an rp, if for a friend would she do something like flowers or kittens with no touch of horror/ creepy?
(Which, I love btw. I definitely want a little fiber art piece with bats and witches!!)

Dedicated "She dotes her time and energy into these few people". Do you mean "devotes"? If not, do you mean she doest her time onto these people? I'm a bit confused by the wording, sorry. >.<;

Under Pulse of the Maddened, why does she pretend to scoop out the sound? Doesn't she just take it it (since she controls madness) and toss it toward her enemy?

And that's all I've got for a crit. Everything else is something I would want to find out from an rp. She seems totally fleshed out and I can tell not only that you care about her, but that you understand her completely! I really hope you get her cause she's awesome! Woot!

Reading Horror Novels - Something you might add here, what authors does she like? What style horror does she prefer? Does she like blood and gore? Does she prefer the Hannibal Lector style getting into the head? Does she like a mystery where you don't know who the psychopath is till its too late? What about true crime horror, does she read that at all even if its for research?
It's a lovely tie to her writing and her sphere but Its always awesome to know names when you can.

Focused - does she prioritize well? Its great to see that she can shut out distractions but what happens if she's in the middle of one task and needs to put another ahead of it...how does she handle that? <3

Hobbies: They all seem quite non-social. Even if she sends her works for her friends to see. If she can't take the criticism, does she feel more uncomfortable around those friends who give her tough criticism? Does she make it known that she doesn't like bad criticism?

Does she create fiber art for her friends? That might make her a bit more social and expose her to more people. Right now, she seems like one of those people who tries to expose themselves to the world, but it's become a struggle because of her inability to take criticism. If that's the way you wanted her to be that's totally cool :3 It may be harder to think of RP situations though.
