I got SoulSilver because:
1. Lugia figure was cooler.
2. Silver has Vulpix.
3. I had Gold when I was young.

I got Silver version as a child because gold version looked like nasty donkey piss.
And I got SoulSilver because Ho-oh looks like nasty donkey piss.

I chose HG over SS, to make up for the copy of Gold I somehow lost before moving to a different house. I had gotten both Gold and Silver at the exact same time. I still wonder to this day how I was lucky to even have that happen, getting both versions.

They're both the same game. The same as most other Pokemon games with a few added features.

Okay, back to being serious. Ho-Oh lives in the Bell Tower, which is in the BEAST Ecruteak City. Where does Lugia live? In dark, boring islands. Hm, which is better? A beautiful city where an equally beautiful Pokemon lives, Or a dark, boring island with a dull-looking Pokemon (Lugia has no color!)? I hope all of you where smart enough to pick the first option!!

Harupiggy Xilo The Odd well ho-oh IS the rainbow bird pokemon. ... maybe rainbows associantion with gay natrually drives people away except FAGS.
It also had the Sacred Fire item. D<So they're flaming fags, then? And seriously, they're the same game. I got silver because I figured most people would get gold.

I had HG as a kid, and crystal in my teens. So it was going to happen sooner or later that I'd grab gold.
