"You won't." she laughed, "I haven't done any normal non-choreographed dancing in a good long while. We should be just fine."
Joking and laughing like this with Bovi felt natural and nice, Ebby thought, leaning lightly on the boy to give him a hug. She could get used to this.

Bovi hugged Ebony back when she hugged him, a chuckle accompanied her laugh.
"I was just giving you a heads up. The last thing I want to do is to make such a lovely lady like yourself look badly, though I highly doubt that's possible."

"Oh it's possible. Just not in the sense you mean." Ebby laughed, standing to pull him towards the dancefloor. "We can practice till our drinks come." she assured him with a warm smile.

Bovi laughed a bit and nodded as he stood up with the insistence of Ebony, not like he didn't mind getting in a little dance practice before the drinks came.
As soon he was upright he accompanied her to the dance floor, keeping hold of her hand in true gentlemanly fashion, as always.

Ebony spun him about the dance floor, laughing and half singing to the songs, and having a grand old time. Her date was classy and fast enough on his hooves to keep up with her and people around noticed they were a pretty cute pair.
As their drinks and dinner arrived, the girl led him back to their seats, still giggling. "You're pretty good, Bovi."

Bovi laughed as he sat down. "If anything I'm a fast learner. Helps to have someone who knows what she's doing," he said with a wink before sipping on his tea a bit. This was turning out to be a most lovely evening, and he was truly enjoying himself.

"Learning and teaching can only go so far." Ebby pointed out with a smile, taking a sip of her own drink. She was enjoying herself and Bovi really was amazing company.
"So, what do YOU plan to do when you're all grown up, hm?"

Bovi pondered a bit at the question.
"I don't know really. Something along the lines of helping people with their confidence I would hope. There's a lot of self loathing in people these days, and it really does bother me that young people have such issues gaining self confidence..."

The dark haired girl made a slightly sour face at that statement, nodding some, "Yes, the amounts of self loathing I've seen in some people are rather terrifying. It's awful when happiness and self esteem are getting to be scarce and rare traits."

"Doesn't it just give you an awful feeling in your stomach?" he asked before stopping. That might just be him, being a pride demon and all. "Well, maybe not. It's more of a genetic reaction for me anyway..." he said, laughing awkwardly, hoping his assumption wasn't offending in anyway, though he really didn't see it being so.

Ebony laughed, "Sadly, I know what you mean just the same. Though, I've been exposed to pride demons - or at least one in particular - a good bit more than most spawn. I spent a good deal of my childhood curled up and brushing Enki while he talked to me." the girl explained, a fond smile on her features, "And I didn't really get along with the humility angel the one time I met him. So maybe I'm a bit biased too."

Bovi chuckled. "Well I suppose that helps out my case, you being more used to the pride demons. I wonder if he'd like who I am becoming. I hope I get to meet him one day..." he mused, peering off to nowhere it seems.

The purple skinned woman snorted, "I don't think he'd really find much to dislike. Unless you were devoting your life to something he found seriously ridiculous that defied his nature, he really wouldn't have too many objections. You're one of his children and therefore amazing." Ebby explained, knowing Enki well enough to have a pretty solid idea of how he'd react, "He is pride, after all, so he's got a very high opinion of himself and his own creations."
(XD we are sooo gonna have to wrap this at some point. it's going on for a while and they'll run out of things to talk about on their next date! XD)

The rest of the evening was spent with pleasant conversation, good food, and dancing in between. Nothing too strenuous for a first date by any means. The whole night seemed to zoom by, even the cab ride seemed short.
"Well, I can say that I had a lovely time," Bovi said in a gallant manner. "Are you taking the cab home?"
