He had Pulled sharply on a knife embedded shallowly in the soil behind Zaine sending it strait for his back, if the knife struck well, it's quite possible and likely Zaine would be a parapalegic. Meanwhile he had kept Pushing on the coins, and then by shifting his position slightly in the air gave himself the angle to Pull them back at Zaine from angles to each side behind him. He lowered himself in the air a couple of feet, to gain the correct angle to Pull a dagger out of a tree branch above and behind Zaine at his neck. This effectively created a wall of sharp possibly deadly pieces of metal streaking towards Zaine's back from many different angles.
Interesting, you aren't done of course? Of course not merely a set up, to an epic tale I assure you.

"Take too long warmin up and you'll find that your event is already over!" Zaine returned sharply a slight grin spreading on his face.
Stabbing his Zanpakuto into the ground he span around and exclaimed, "Hado #1 Sho!" from both palms he sent out the spell, sending the projectiles flying away with ease, finishing his spin he gripped his sword once more and launched himself towards Maikeru, slashing out at him. Or rather that's what it would look like to his opponent, in fact though this was merely a feint as he pointed at the puppetmaster and muttered, "Hado#4 Byakurai!" sending a blast of white lightning towards Maikeru's lower body.

"Over? Please I do long distance, I'll start a minute later and still beat the fat kids...oops, was that insensitiIIVVEE!!" Maikeru was caught by surprise as he was yanked towards Zaine.
Maikeru was still Pulling on the objects when Zaine used the Kido, as a result he was pulled towards Zaine at the same moment and with the same force Zaine shoved them away with his demon art, hence Maikeru's surprise.
Shooting towards Zaine he gripped his sword thinking to block the attack head on this time. Then an idea occured to him. Ohhhh ho ho ho!! I think he needs a haircut! Maikeru Pushed off of a coin on the ground below and flipped over Zaine, scything his sword over his head to scalp him on the way over.
Maikeru caught a flash of white lightning as he was flipping.... S*** well I was lucky!

"Gotta watch out for those fat kids, they can be quicker than you expect." Zaine said plainly as the shinigami shot towards him, after successfully firing the hado he grinned as it was evaded by the dumb luck of Maikeru, tucking his head down he managed to evade any damage from the attack the black haired shinigami had attempted.
Landing on the balls of his feet Zaine span and watched the still airborne Maikeru, "This is starting to get boring, perhaps it's time to end this eh?"

((How about finish this page of posting, I want to be able to say I did at least four pages. And I just counted, each page holds 15 posts and we've already done 5, so a few more by each of us and I'll be cool with it, is that alrite?))
Maikeru quickly threw a coin above him and Pushed it against a branch, with the trees added wait Maikeru immediately changed direction, targeting Zaine once more.
"But Zaine! We've only just met, and...and I'm just getting to know you, but I feel we could be so close!" Maikeru couldn't help it, mocking people was just his way of life. Plus he'd been needing to practice his needy freaky kid voice lately.
Knowing it would be over relatively soon, Maikeru wanted to finish the fight the way he really enjoyed them, slashing and hacking at eachother in an intense melee. He thrusted quickly for Zaine's belly with his left hand, his right hand palmed one of blades levitating around his sword hilt and slashed for Zaine's right shoulder.

"You need to learn some manners kid, perhaps it's time I taught you some then." Zaine said with a shake of his head, parrying the strikes from Maikeru easily before jumping back. "Bare your fangs and howl, Za Shotou Ookami!" he intoned, his body becoming consumed with a brilliant light that reduced visibility to zero for several moments before dying out with the same sudden manner, which could cause people to have issues seeing still since it was still a dramatic change in lighting once more.
"Daughter of the Sky King, Lifegiver, lend me your strength!" He commanded, the white sword became an odd amalgam of water and ice that was as beautiful as it was unusual, the water of the sword constantly shifted between a frozen and liquid state and flowed freely, though no water or moisture passed the blade, meaning Zaine's hand stayed dried on the hilt, "Let's start this lesson then shall we?" Zaine asked flatly, holding out his ebony blade he smiled, "Son of the Earth Mother, Wrathful Blaze, lend me your strength!" the left blade became fully engulfed in flames, though they seemed to not bother Zaine at all, with vicious speed Zaine sent a slash of Ice and Flame towards Maikeru.

Maikeru grinned knowing he still had work till his hacking and slashing was up to par. But hey, he got him to release his Shikai after all. Maikeru stood comically tapping his foot and whistling as Zaine released his Shikai.
((umm Not entirely sure but I'm quite sure you mean like sending wave/blades of fire and ice at me? like getsuga tenshou only well fire and ice? if its ur swords tell me and I'll change, or w.e. ud like lol))
"Lesson? I like learning, learning is good I hear." Maikeru Pulled on all the sources of metal he could sense, Zaine would feel a light tug from his blades but no more, the reiatsu infusing them at the moment from being released weakened the effect. Knives, daggers, rusty nails, coins, several rocks rich in iron, an old indian arrowhead for some reason made of steel instead of flint, someone's lost beltbuckle, and scores more of miscellaneous items shot towards Maikeru, some would be coming from behind Zaine and would need to be dealt with, but that was not Maikeru's intention. When they grew close he began the dance, subtly shifting left and right creating a whirlwind of metalic objects around his body.
The speed of the items was such that a limb entering it would be torn to shreds of organic confetti in a second.
Maikeru released several coins at the right moment to rocket them against the blade of ice and shatter it. The fire would be dispersed by the whirlwind he was creating, it would get hotter, and Maikeru'd likely get singed but it sure would look cool.
Maikeru's yelling voice could barely be heard over the noise he was creating, "Cool isn't it? I can't keep it up very long It's already giving me a headache keeping track of this many things. It's pretty useful though don't you think?"

"Showy moves like that are nice and all, but you should first worry about perfecting techniques that have a great practical use first!" Zaine stated blandly, loosing extremely hot flames to melt the items coming from behind him. The coins that continued through the ice would be stopped by a large wall of the same substance, except it was so thick that the makeshift bullets were stopped halfway through their path in the ice.
"Now then, let's just finish this up." he stated seriously, pointing the watery blade towards Maikeru from behind the wall he allowed a slight smile to turn the corners of his mouth, "This is it kid." He stated, thrusting out with the sword blade towards his foe from behind the ice wall, which suddenly became a massive wall of razor sharp ice shards that flew through the air towards the magnetic shinigami, their number impossibly vast and each as sharp as a sword blade and just as strong.

"But Zaine pal, it does have a practical use. Looking cool is a use, as it it's ability to tear almost anything to shreds."
Maikeru glanced at the wall of icy blades plunging at him through the cyclone of metal around him. He Pushed the Majority of the spinning objects at the shards, shattering some, but just knocking the majority of course. At the same moment he jumped, and Pushed down on the remainder. The pressure from that many Pushes from that many angles shot Maikeru into the air at close to terminal velocity.
Several shards still got through, scoring light gashes on his legs, on on his shoulder, and a very small shard, likely a piece of one of the ice swords that shattered, was embedded in his neck. He was bleeding a great amount, but it wasn't nearly fatal.
Maikeru landed next to Zaine, stumbling a tad as his feet contacted the ground. He clapped him on the shoulder, "Thanks man, I know her name now. And I have to say, it's a pretty kick-a** Shikai. But I'm going to go get patched up, eat some Jello, and then train this beautiful lady to really dance with me."
Maikeru Smiled and Pulled all of his own mostly undamaged knives and retrievable coins back to himself, throwing them all in a bag he pulled from one of his pockets. With a small salute and a smile he slapped Vin to his back ,where she hovered calmly, and Pushed off the old arrow head, which incidentall had embedded itself in a tree right above Zaine's head.
He shot off above the treeline. Hmmmm I think I want that actually...
Maikeru Pulled on the arrowhead wrenching it out of the tree and out of Zaine's sight to himself.
Using my powers to run errands? Because you are to lazy to do them yourself?
She sighed in dissapointment. Dang! He still couldn't figure out how she did that!

((I didin't do it this time, I think it might be something I should gain as i train, but to help me against fire people who would like to melt my stuff, i figure as it's still metal, abeit molten, that I can still effect it))
