"...............• • • • • • • • • • • • XXXXXXXXStill munching on the crackers, not bothering to dive after the food the other girl had made, Aiden glanced to the doorway, giving a nod of her head, as her mouth was full. The guy was good looking, she had to admit, but it was awkward that men four years older than her, were being sent off to marry people like her, who was sixteen. Swallowing, and taking her sweet time making sure her mouth was clear, the brunette hopped off the counter, setting her box of food down. "What's up? I'm Aiden." Introducing herself to Eric and Persyphonie, who seemed polite enough, and was as expected, older than her, Aiden sat back down on an actual chair.XXXXXXX"Jeez, everyone here is older than me. Don't tell me I'm the only sixteen year old here! That would be major awkward!" Frowning to herself over her thoughts, as she had yet to meet another her age, boy or girl, the thought was slightly annoying. All hell would break loose of she got into contact with her family and she was in fact the youngest. Drumming her fingers quietly against the counter, realizing her nails were still painted black from a couple days ago, and the ring o her left hand was gleaming brilliantly to those around from the light, the girl stopped short. Debating on whether or not to take it off.XXXXXX "So how are you two taking this whole 'situation?'" Striking up a conversation, hoping it would make their lives less weird, and more semi-normal, the youngest Gordon leaned back once again against the counter, slouching and showing that her accent and class meant nothing to her. The tomboy wasn't afraid to be impolite at times, especially in a setting such as this, and she didn't need to pretend to be Miss America with an English accent since her parents weren't around.
XXXXXPraying her room had been kept shut while the newcomers had came and chose their own rooms, Aiden tugged at the ends of her shirt, her bracelet jingling and chilling her skin. It, like her ring, was from her grandmother and was worn on her left hand due to her dominant preferences. Her locket on the other hand, was a silver cage with a heart inside, a gift her friend gave her when she gave the news of being engaged already. With the party all inside the kitchen, others in the pool, and everyone else that had arrived in the library, Aiden wondered if that was how it always would be. Just small groups straying away from one another.• • • • • • • • • • • • ..............."I'm already engaged, there aren't really any sнєиαиιɢαиs I can get into." ..............."Well, that's the point, sтυριɖ, otherwise it wouldn't be an adventure!" ..................

ɢεσғғяεʏ кιεяαи ℓαғσиɖ XXXXXXXXXℕo awkward conversation? Check. Awkward moment with a younger girl? Check. Embarrassed with a red face? Also check. Today was not his day at all. Helping Cassidy up, coughing away his embarrassment, Geoffrey shook his head to her previous comment. "I do want you to come, you seem pretty cool, but it may be awkward since it looks like we're all older. And old people like us don't have your energy." Making fun of their age difference, not to mention his private reference to her slip, knowing she would be bothered if he talked down to her, he flashed a grin. The boy knew from experience people treat you like a kid even if you're a day younger, because you haven't been around as long as they. Glancing at her hands, Geoffrey stood at once, glancing at the girl who dove into the water. "The fiery red head is mine huh?"
XXXXXXX"We should get you cleaned up. Everything will probably be in the bathroom." Resting his hand on her shoulder, and nodding towards the entrance, the brunette was met with yet another female, which was quite odd considering his luck. Either way, he smiled at her and back to Corrine, introducing himself. "Hey. I'm Geoffrey." Looking down to the Brooklyn girl, he raised an eyebrow, wondering if she was going to move from the chair, and clean up her scrapes.
XXXXXXBarely receiving a reply, Geoffrey returned to talking to the new girl, shrugging his shoulders. He hadn't been in the water, but from the small droplets that hit him from Corrine's splash, he could say that it was fairly warm and not too cold. What was it and all the girls and wearing bikini tops? They obviously weren't too pleased about the whole ordeal, but the tops showed a fair amount to anyone nearby, making him seem like a pervert. Three girls in bikini tops, two wet, and he all by himself with all the other guys elsewhere. Not to mention, he was a good one to three years older than all the females present.

ƇøɍɨɳɳɛǺℓɛxα МƈШɨℓℓɨαɱʂ I'm in the business of misery let's take it from the top. She's got a body like an hourglass and it's ticking like aclock It's a matter of time before we all run out When I thought he was mineshe caught him by the mouth I waited eight long months, she finally set him free I told him I couldn't lieHe was the only one forme. Two weeks we caught on fire, she's got it out for me, but i wear the biggest smile Corrine looked up at the male when he said his name. So he's the one I'm stuck with huh? She thought to herself looking him over. Not too bad looking. He definitely looked older than her. She nodded at the girl when she said her name was Cassidy. Corrine noticed the nasty spill that Cass took and was wondering as well if she was going to go clean herself up. "I'm from Wisconsin, outdrinking your state since 1848. Oh and call me Cor, but never Cory, I'll have to kick your a**." She said to the too of them getting up out of the pool and walking over to her "fiancee". She didn't do anything except stand there and look up at him. It was clear that she was sizing him up to see if he would be difficult to deal with or a total pushover.
Corrine really did not want to do this. Every moment she was here pissed her off but she didn't let it show in her face or attitude. She was really good at hiding things, since she had been doing it practically all her life. So she just smiled up at him. "Well it was a pleasure meeting you two, but I'm going to go back to enjoying being all wet." She said winking at Geoffrey. She turned away and walked over to the diving board. She climbed up bounced once, twice, then off. She did a few flips before splashing into the water. She swam under water for a few seconds before resurfacing.
Corrine floated on her back for a while before she decided to get up and raid the kitchen to see if there was any booze there. More than likely not since they were all underage. She got out into and headed into the kitchen. There were some people there already but she ignored them and started opening and shutting cabinets. First one, no booze. Second one, no booze. Third one, still no booze. Damn. "Damn, do you guys know if there's any alcohol here?" She asked looking between each person.

" Don't Live With Regrets Because Honestly, You Don't Want To Miss A Thing. " As Eric waited for the other two girls to recognize his voice in the conversation they weren't apparently having, his eye took noticed the the design and set up of the kitchen. It was very homey to him, more like something he would pick out if he were designing his own kitchen. It needed a bit more space in his opinion though, because he was more of the type to cook together as a family and not all professional like. Still, it was to his likings. The girl who had been eating what looked like the source of the amazing smell in the kitchen responded to his greeting by saying her name was Soph. Obviously, Eric was aware that the name was short for something but the other girl, Aiden she said, asked them about the whole arranged marriage situation before he could ask what Soph was short for. At a later time, he would have to remember.
Soph went off about how the house had no electronics and how time wouldn't pass any faster without them. In Eric's honest opinion, he for one had to agree. Technology was an advancement in time and without being able to use it to its full extent, it was just ridiculous. But to try and explain anything going through his mind to the older adults would be a waste of time, because they think the exact opposite. The teens here would find something productive to do with everything there was in the house. They all had Ipods, he was assuming, and with Ipods come compact speakers. They had books, a pool...there had to be cards somewhere. Of course, this was just Eric being optimistic. The only other thing that could come to his mind right now was the answer to Aiden's question, which involved much unresolved anger towards his parents back home.
All in all though, it was safe to say that everyone was probably not in the best mind set to accept what was going on, but whether they liked it or not, they were all getting married. "Honestly," Eric started, "I don't fancy the arranged marriage idea. My folks had one and they weren't the best match. They aren't the happiest couple I've met, and they're way beyond strict, but I find this to be an excuse to get away from them so I'm just going to see what this does for them. If I don't end up getting along with the girl they like, well I can't say I'm going to marry her. No one should be forced into marriage. That's my story." Eric was actually surprised at the answer he gave. Normally, when he was around people he didn't know, he stuck to a calmer tone, but since this was the real life situation, and any girl in the house could be his fiance, he didn't find the need to shade himself from telling it like it was. "Oh, and as for making the wrong impression on anyone, I'm pretty sure those aren't going to last long. We're all going to be stuck here together for a while, so we might as well just be who we are," he said supportively.
He really didn't mind this whole, speak your mind deal he had going on right now. It actually felt good to be talking to someone who knew what was going on in his world. Not so much anything outside this situation, but the rest of their lives was depending on the next three months. And who was to say that these people weren't going to be his friends afterwards. It would be just plain dumb to think that they wouldn't be. Although, the girl who walked in shortly after Eric had said his second statement didn't seem like someone he'd want to hang around with. But he couldn't make any judgments now. He didn't know her well enough to do that yet. It was just the way she came in, looking in the cupboards with a purpose and then turning to the three already in the kitchen for booze. Eric stifled a laugh, 'Unbelievable,' he thought. No one had been here longer than twenty four hours and someone was already looking to lose themselves. The boy just didn't respond to the girl with the fire red hair and left the talking up to the other ladies. He hadn't been in the kitchen long enough to search the cupboards for party favors. - EK, Norway

"...............• • • • • • • • • • • • XXXXXXXXBoth had answered, and Soph wanted her take as well. Mind you, it was obvious and common courtesy, so of course she would voice her thoughts. After all, after the whole "marriage" she probably wouldn't have the guts to for not being able to speak up and say 'no' loud and clear. The three were soon interrupted by a red head on the hunt for booze. Rolling her eyes, Aiden spoke up, as she rummaged through the cupboards and drawers and fridge before deciding on crackers. "Checked everything already. No booze. Most, if not all of us are too young anyways." Uninterested with the girl, as she came off with the vibe Aiden tried to stay away from back home, letting Eric's previous answer really sink in.XXXXXXXNow that Corrine had been answered, Aiden decided it was time to get back to Soph and Eric on her conversation starter. "I'm not into getting married at sixteen. I don't live in Elizabethan times, besides I was happy being my boyfriend's girl. But now that I'm someone's fiance, I feel like I'm 'kinda trapped. My parents were runaways from their arranged marriages, so I really don't see why I'm here. And Soph, you're not the only new one here. I just came from England too. But on the whole 'electronic thing,' I got my comics, music, and sketchbooks, and I'm not tech savvy." It was the dead honest truth. Aiden knew how to download, search, sign in, and upload things onto her computer, but not much else. Not that it mattered; she rarely logged on.XXXXXXBoth of the two seniors came up as strong personalities, and obviously not directly from wherever they were. Either way, she was content with hanging with them, despite the age difference, and their different views on technology privileges. Corrine, who was still there, somewhat let down from her answer, had her attention. She was pretty, like Soph, and probably like the other girls who were there as well. She looked cool too, but her first comment to them didn't exactly fly that well. Attempting to be nonjudgmental and let her personality play out before hand, as the two could understand each other to an extent, Aiden cleaned off the slate that was being made.• • • • • • • • • • • • ..............."I'm already engaged, there aren't really any sнєиαиιɢαиs I can get into." ..............."Well, that's the point, sтυριɖ, otherwise it wouldn't be an adventure!" ..................

" One Small Step Away From Being Normal... Yet So Far Gone From What She Wanted. " While Olivia awaited for one of the three outside to respond, she decided to walk over to one of the pool side chairs and laid her towel out in the sun. The day was quite warm out so she was so glad that the house had a pool. The fact that she left her sunscreen up in the room she had chosen and she wasn't wearing any didn't even cross her mind. Fine for now, but she would definitely pay for it later. The firey red headed girl who was the only one that had been in the water, got out shortly after, saying a few things to the boy who she had heard say his name was Geoffrey and the other girl sitting down on another lounge chair. Liv had received barely any acknowledgment from the water polo as she left the pool area and into the house. 'Ah, oh well,' she thought. She knew she would have to re-introduce herself later anyway.
Olivia started walking back over to the two on the chairs and said, "Well she doesn't seem too bad," even though she had been around her for about five minutes, if that. FIve minutes wasn't honestly enough time to figure a person out, but she could tell from the fire red hair that the girl had a strong persona around her. Most likely an up and at 'em kind of girl. A little bit of difficultly for Liv to imagine she could deal with, but give her a few days and she might be best friends with the girl. "I'm Olivia by the way. Did I hear you say your name was Geoffrey?" she asked the boy. It was only after Liv was standing in front of the couple still outside that she noticed the other girl had some scrape marks on her hands. Knowing that pool side scratches and cement vs. skin battles hurt like hell, the brunette acted quickly, or rather said something quickly. "Oh goodness, are you alright? That looks like it must burn," she said. Of course though, the only thing she could do was state the obvious. Way to go Olivia.

Cassidy frowned as she wiped some the dust and little pieces of grit from her palms. The stinging was already going away but now Cassi had a bit of a grudge against Corrine. She had only been here for ten minutes and already she was bugging the New Yorker. Looking up at the sound of the door sliding open and closed drew Cassi's attention to the dark haired girl who greeted them enthusiastically. "Hey! Water's great!" she replied, matching the girl's attitude. Turning back to Geoffrey who suddenly perked up, Cassi gave her a sidelong glance and raised a brow. "You all may be older, but I can hold my own against you. Believe me. It's not all rainbows and sparkles at my house." She gave a sarcastic little smile with a wrinkle of her nose.
"Anyway, I'm fine. Just a scrape..." She rolled her eyes. She was already being treated like a little kid just because a few people, okay all of the ones she met so far, were all older than her. But just by a few years. If this was what was going to happen with all the guys here, then there was no hope for her. They'd all feel like ***** and she'd never get anywhere. Actually, they may not be such a bad idea. If no one wanted to marry her because she was sixteen, maybe she could go home! Hell yeah! That would be so much better than being stuck here for the summer! She ignored Corrine's introduction of herself. She seemed really full of it to her but then again, Geoffrey seemed to be enjoying her company just fine. Her eyes watched as Corrine left to go inside. Thank god... The girl hadn't done or said much to her but Cassi didn't see the two of them being friends anytime soon.
A question was thrown her way and Cassi looked up at Olivia. "Yeah, I'm fine," she offered a half smile to the girl and extended one hand out to her. "I'm Cassidy by the way." She felt a little better now that her hands weren't stinging. She kind of felt out of place now being out here with Geoffrey and Olivia. They seemed like a good match but Cassidy wasn't sure if they were paired together or not. She only knew who she was supposed to get with. Getting up from Geoffrey's seat, she decided to take this opportunity to search out her fiancee. Maybe he'd be someone her age or at the least, okay with her being sixteen. "Well, I'll you guys later, huh?" She gave a little half wave and headed for the house.
Stepping inside, she spotted Corrine's unmistakable hair in the kitchen mumbling something to herself. Okay, well she was just going to avoid the kitchen for now. There were some more people standing in the kitchen talking with her, only one she recognized as Soph. "Hey, everyone, I'm Cassidy," She clasped her hands together in front of her as she realized she was still wearing only her bathing. "Yes, I am going to greet you in something that resembles underwear but is in fact a bathing suit," she added, making that particular moment that much more awkward. She probably should have just kept her mouth shut.○●○сαṡṡïḋÿ hαɾρεɾ ρïεɾсε○●○

xxxxxxxQuinn Vanoverxxxxxxx╔═════════════════════════════════════════ For Quinn there hadn't been any fond farewells or good luck wishes. There had been a letter, on his own mother's stationary, telling him rather bluntly that he was to carry on the family name, being the only son and to do would honor his dead father. Quinn had simply sighed in exasperation after reading the letter. He removed his glasses, setting them on his desk as he reclined back into his chair, then massaged the bridge of his nose. He had no idea what his mother was thinking, but he honestly had no choice if wanted to continue attending the very expensive university he had been at for a year now. None of it would have bothered him if it weren't for the fact that he had absolutely no idea how to act around women. His whole life he had been a boarding school in England, an all boy's school, no less. When it came to women he had next to no skills and was inept in the affairs of love and wooing. All he had ever known were the many romance novels that lined his shelves. He was hopeless.
So, it hadn't been difficult to pack his bags, most of them filled with books. His entire plan was simply give his future whatever was that she wished, be at her every beck and call when he wasn't studying, and tend to her every whim. Love had never been a priority of his, but apparently it was now, at least if he wanted to ever accomplish his dream of being a famous scientist. The drive had been dull as he was whisked away from the German University and then so had the flight and the second drive. By the time he had arrived at the mansion Quinn was fairly tired and none too anxious about the whole ordeal. The mansion they were going to be locked away in was impressive, but it reminded him too much of his house and therefore he already held a dislike for it.
The inside was not that impressive either, because who honestly used white carpet anymore? He knew his mother would kill the interior decorator of this place if she found out, probably have him beheaded or his hands dipped in acid. What a high and mighty woman. Another sigh escaped him, one similar to when he had first read the letter she had sent. He wondered if his sisters were having to through something like this or if it were only him. Taking up his suitcases, he lugged them to his room, which he was fairly satisfied with. It had big windows to let in a lot of light, which was ideal for reading, and built in book shelves that already came stocked with books. Perhaps this wouldn't be half bad after all. Only half, though. He adjusted his glasses as they had slid down his nose and then set to work on putting away his things.
When he was done with that he checked himself over, brushing his hair to the side as it always was, straightening out the thin, white button up he wore under the gray vest, the sleeves rolled up as he had realized how warm it was here. Even so, he was still wearing a pair of black slacks and some loafers. Yes, he dressed to impress alright. If his fiance were his age then she was probably more into the more modern fashion and not his romanticized notions of how men should dress. She probably wasn't wearing a sundress or anything elegant, but instead those horrid tube tops and short shorts. He shuddered at the thought as he stepped out of his bedroom door. Despite how much he would love to sit and read the summer away, he was doomed to wander the halls of the mansion in search of his bride-to-be. Curiosity was what compelled him, other wise why not shut himself in? For all he knew she probably didn't want to marry a stranger.
Quinn had trotted down the stairs, his stomach filled with a fluttering sensation he could very well do without. He was nervous. He shouldn't have been nervous. He cursed himself for acting more like a cad instead of a man. With his fist clenched before him, he turned a corner and found himself in a kitchen. Apparently this was where every one had congregated. There were at least five people there...and oh good lord, it was worse than he had thought! One of them, a younger looking gal, was wearing nothing than a bikini, soaking wet and dripping on the kitchen tile. Quinn's habits had caused him to freeze up, eyes wide as he turned them up to the ceiling, then directed them off to the side, staring down at the floor. "Um...h-hello. I...um...I'm Quinn..." he stuttered, his accent a very light British tone, which completely hid the fact that he was Dutch. Honestly all he could think of to say was to introduce himself, his mind veering off course because he had never seen so much skin of a girl before except in movies.═════════════════════════════════════════╝

So far no one had acknowledged her until a rather geeky looking guy came into the kitchen. He stared at her as if he had never seen a girl before and by the way he dressed, that might as well have been true. He looked like he stepped out a book, maybe not like a lame romance novel but... This thought wasn't going anywhere so she took a step toward the boy. "Hey, what's wrong? Your face is all red..." she asked leaning down at bit so she could look up at his face. She knew why he was turning red but if he couldn't handle her in a bikini top and boy shorts then there was no hope for him and his fiance. Oh wait, that might be her. There were still a few guys missing so anyone one of them could be hers. She bit her lip and stood back up to her height of a meager five foot five. "You're...Quinn?" she asked, raising a brow in that kind of 'hoping it's not you' look.
Please don't let him by my fiance... Cassidy thought to herself. If he said yes, this was going to be a very awkward relationship. She could imagine him being a virgin and not even having a first kiss. Oh boy. This was going to be very interesting. She crossed her arms over her chest, accidentally accentuating her boobs to the boy even more. Shifting her weight from one foot to the other, Cassi waited for the boys response, licking her bottom lip while she did so. She could hear Corrine going through the cabinets and Eric, Aiden and Soph were still talking about their opinions on the arrangement so it was just Quinn and herself talking. Well, sort of talking. More like waiting.
The party girl looked at the nerd. Well, what a cliche the two of them were. She only wondered what he would do if he knew she had a tattoo that her boy shorts were just barely covering. would he get a bloody nose or something. She laughed quietly at the thought but made sure she was barely smiling when he looked up at her again. "I'm Cassidy, by the way," she added with a half smile.○●○сαṡṡïḋÿ hαɾρεɾ ρïεɾсε○●○

Kiara Noelle MincksBrought to you today by FRANCE!C'est La Vie!Kill the lights, These children learn from cigarette burns, fast cars, fast women, and cheap drinks,
"Merde! Merde merde merde!" Was the montra coming from Kiara's mouth as she paced her room back and forth. Her mind wandered here and there thinking of all of the friends she was going to miss, and how stupid her parents were for making her go, and what she was gonna do about her job, and every little thing that came to her mind. Her parents had only mentioned that she would be leaving last night. She had been so shocked at the news that she had thought it was a joke, but when she saw the serious expressions on her parents faces she went balistic and started to throw things. Nothing breakable, just pillows and knocked over a chair or two. Eventually she had claimed sanctuary in her room, away from her parents and their life-changing news. "Beep! Beeep! Beeeeep!" Kiara dove across her bed to shut her alarm clock off. It was her signal that morning had arrived, along with the realization that she had spent the whole night pacing back and forth in her room, when she ws leaving for three months and hadn't even packed any of her clothes.
"Bien, baiser." She thought to herself as her footsteps started up in the hallway between her parents room and her own. "Bon matin, Kiara! J'espère que vous êtes tous emballés." With that her mom left Kiara's door and returned to her own room. Kiara mumbled a few not-nice words directed at her mother, but pushed herself off her bed anyways and made her way over to her dresser. She steadly went through each drawer, pulling out small piles of clothes and setting them down on her bed to be packed away into her suitcase. When she had emptied her drawers she pulled out a couple items to wear for the day, and set them off to the side of the rest of her stuff. She then got down onto her hands and knees and reached under her bed for her suitcase that she kept hidden there. She brought it out and set it up next to the bed so that she could put her stuff inside as she folded it. It was only a half hour later that she had packed away pretty much all of her clothes and a small bag filled with a couple hats and jewelery items, along with some special momentos. She placed her backpack and suitcase next to her door and grabbed her clothes that she had set aside before walking over to her small bathroom to take a shower.
Kiara's showers normally lasted about 15-20 minutes, but just to spite her parents, she wasted extra time relaxing under the warm turrent of water, so it took her 30 minutes. When she got out she dried off her body and hair and started to get dressed in her outfit that she had set aside. When she was completely dressed, she put on a small amount of eyeliner, mascara, and lip gloss. She stepped out of her bathroom to hear her mother yelling that she needed to get downstairs. Kiara let out a sigh and grabbed her bags before looking around at her room. It looked baren and empty without all of her stuff spaced out here and there, but before she could break into tears, she turned away and started down the hallway with her bag and suitcase. When she had finally walked into the kitchen her mom stood at the counter smiling at her daughter with a wide, open smile, almost identical to Kiara's. "Bon matin, Mere." Kiara greeted her mom with a small smile, trying to get over the fact that she was still pissed at her. Her mom held out a plate of eggs and a cup of orange juice to Kiara with a warning look that said Kiara had better eat it. Reluctantly, Kiara grabbed the fork off the plate and gobbled down the eggs, before chugging the glass of orange juice. It was just int time too, as the doorbell to their house buzzed.
"Je vais la chercher." Kiara said as she started to walk over to the front door. It rang a second time just as Kiara opened the door to an old man about her father's age standing there in a black suit. "Bonjour madame. Je vais vous prendre à l'aéroport." Kiara smiled at him and nodded before turning around to look at her mom in the kitchen. "Au revoir, mere. Dites au revoir à papa pour moi." She said to her mom before grabbing her suitcase and backpack and walking out to the mercedes-benz that was parked infront of her house. She placed her suitcase in the trunk and kept her backpack by her side as they drove to the airport. The drive seemed like a long time, but when she got on the plane, she realized that she had been terribly mistaken. It took hours for her to get from the airport in Paris, France, to her destination, and when she got there, she was greeted by another old man that looked almost identical to the one that had dropped her off. "Hello! I'm Kiara Mincks." She greeted him with a smile in almost perfect english. Her father spoke english to her, while her mother spoke french, so she could speak both equally well. The man raised his eyebrows in surprise, expecting her to only speak french, but was also smiling knowing that he wouldn't have to worry about communicating. The pair made their way out of the airport and into another black mercedes before taking the long trip to her new home.
When they pulled up Kiara let out a small gasp as she saw the size of the house. Her own house was small, and fit small family of three perfectly, but this house made her own look shabby. She opened her door after a second and turned to see the driver already pulling her suitcase and backpack out of the trunk. She smiled at him and said, "Merci!" Before grabbing her bags and starting toward the front door. Immediately when she entered, she could hear the faint sounds of voices echoing through the hallways. "Hullo!" She called out before starting to look for a room to put her stuff in. If someone had heard her and went looking for her, they would have to find her in her own room. Eventually, after only a couple minutes of searching and looking through claimed rooms, she found one that was empty. It seemed perfect to her, and even had a view of the pool. Instead of unpacking first, she decided to go and find her new housemates, so she made her way back out of her room, leaving her backpack and suitcase untouched right next to the bed.

xxxxxxxQuinn Vanoverxxxxxxx╔═════════════════════════════════════════ As soon as he had spoke, Quinn automatically wished he hadn't, because the most attention he got was from the exact girl he was trying to keep his eyes from. She walked right up to him, staring up at him and asking embarrassing questions. Of course she had to stare up at him, she was a good half foot shorter than he was, considering he was six feet tall even. Her demeanor switched from playing innocent to incredulous as she asked him to repeat his name. When she said her own name he was finally able to look to her, keeping his green eyes set on her face. "Y-yes, I'm Quinn. If you are Cassidy th-then you are...oh dear..." He could tell already that she didn't like him, even based upon appearances. Perhaps he should have changed before heading downstairs, knowing full well that what was regular attire for a prestigious university was not normal in any way to most others in this century. A worried look surfaced on his face. "It would seem I am your fiance. Pleasure to meet you." Although in Quinn's eyes she didn't seem very pleased. He pushed his glasses up on his face.
Cassidy seemed like the type to enjoy a good party, where as the only parties Quinn had ever been to were to celebrate someone's success in business or a wedding. His eldest sister was already married and he had liked the man very much. She seemed happy. Quinn doubted that would be the case for him and his bride-to-be. She probably wanted a muscular man who wasn't near-sighted and wore those shirt with the sleeves ripped off. Then again, who really knew? He doubted she liked gangly bookworms. Of course, she was fairly attractive and Quinn had no complaints as of yet, only towards himself. Sighing inaudibly, Quinn turned his eyes away again, already feeling rejected, and caught sight of a blond girl walking by the living room, heading for the stairs, luggage in hand. Her voice called out in greeting, but it was faintly heard over the voices of the others. His attention immediately snapped back to Cassidy and he held out his hand to her, holding it as steady as he could. Yes, he was nervous, but really only because this was his fiance and he had never dated, kissed, held hands with, or fraternized with many girls. Some of those things he had never even experienced at all. ═════════════════════════════════════════╝

Kiara Noelle MincksBrought to you today by FRANCE!C'est La Vie!Kill the lights, These children learn from cigarette burns, fast cars, fast women, and cheap drinks,
Kiara wandered throughout the house, going down the various hallways that trailed off of the main on that her bedroom was on. 'This place is huge!' She thought to herself as she finally came back to the stairs that she had climbed up earlier when she was looking for a room. She could just barely make out the sounds of the other people in the house and debated on whether she wanted to meet them yet or not. She was still angry at having to come here, and wasn't to keen on meeting her new fiance either. After toying with the idea of just going back to her room and being a hermit, or greeting her new housemates, she decided on the middle ground. She would spy on them! They wouldn't see her, which meant no introductions, and it also meant that she could get a grip on them without them getting a grip on her first. After deciding on her course of action she crouched down slightly, in spy mode, and silently made her way down the stairs in the direction that she heard the voices coming from.
Kiara crept quietly, each footstep placed carefully so that she was as silent as could be, with her hand on her necklaces to keep them from clinking together and giving away her position. She smiled to herself as she thought of how ninja she felt at the moment, but soon dashed it away as she made it to the final blockade between her and her housemates. A wall. She sidled up against it and leaned ever so slightly over the edge to see the huge kitchen on the other side. After seeing so many rooms, she was still amazed at the sight of the size of this room. It was huge for a kitchen, and fit multiple people in the room comfortable, and with room to spare. 'Who needs a kitchen that size?' She asked herself as she gazed around the room, completely forgetting about being sneaky. Before she realized what she was doing, she had stepped away from the wall and was gaping. 'Merde!' She thought as she realized she wasn't hiding anymore.
Her eyes finally settled on the two kids closest to her. A boy with brown hair who seemed about 6 foot, and a girl that was about half a foot short. Kiara gave the two a sheepish wave, but stayed where she was, not sure if she should introduce herself since the two seemed to be in an awkward conversation. Instead she turning her attention to the other kids in the room and let her eyes travel over each one of them, making mental photos. She didn't step towards anybody, not sure what to do now that she realized how stupid her idea of spying on them had been. Especially when she had failed so fast at it.

" Don't Live With Regrets Because Honestly, You Don't Want To Miss A Thing. " Eric liked the way Aiden reacted to the girl who had just walked in the kitchen. She was truth to the bone and actually being herself. The boy hadn't been able to meet everyone else in the house yet, but honesty was his thing, especially when it came to being who you were as a person. Aiden didn't seem to like the idea of partying though either, which could be a plus or a minus depending on how one looked at it. Eric himself wasn't much of a drinker, but he did like to attend the occasional, every Friday/Saturday night party. He would have to remember to ask her later about that, or find some way to bring it up, as she continued on with the conversation the three had been having before the party girl walked in.
The boy, of course, was again shocked. 'Sixteen? This girl is six-teen...' he thought. For a moment, Eric was extremely disturbed at the thought of a teenager, not even close to finishing their secondary education, being considered for an arranged marriage. What her parents were thinking was beyond his comprehension. Eric could see maybe eighteen and nineteen, as they were closer to his age, but sixteen? Insane. But, Aiden was also from England, so their education requirements could have been different than his own country's. Nonetheless, he continued to listen to her speech of not being too tech savvy. That, honestly, wouldn't have been much of a problem, if she had been born in the previous generation, but nowadays, almost everything was turning to electronics. She may not be having much difficulty now, but maybe some day down the road, she might need a little help here or there.
A few moments after Aiden had finished talking though, another girl came in from outside. She was a little wet and wearing swim attire so Eric assumed that the two had come in from the pool area. The red head's bathing suit had really just dawned on him. The other girl said her name was Cassidy, and truthfully, her name seemed to fit her. She didn't wait for anyone to make any judgments, but instead created some ease and conversation first. A smooth transition was always good. However, the next boy that walked in couldn't have the same said about him. He looked very nervous, if not mortified at what his eyes saw in front of him. Poor guy, he probably knew his thoughts showed on his face too. Quinn he said his name was. Well that was good, starting off with names. So in a circle Eric could count Soph, Aiden, Cassidy, Quinn, and the girl with the fire red hair. She'd state her name sooner or later. Now all the attention seemed to be on the two that had just walked in though. They were paired, and it didn't look to be a good match. Eric silently snickered, that was going to be fun to watch, but even though he liked the play before him, the boy thought he could do Quinn a solid and turn the attention away from him.
He then looked back at Aiden and said, "So you have a boyfriend back home?" just to jump right into it. He still didn't really understand that a sixteen year old needed to be given away, especially if she had a boyfriend. "That's got to be rough. How did he take the news of the engagement?" Eric knew for sure though, that it was either, not well or she hadn't even told him. The second being the most logical to him, but if she was a trustworthy girl, she probably would have told him any way. Although, he definitely wouldn't have blamed her for not telling the boyfriend. While awaiting for the conversation to move forward, Eric noticed yet another girl loafing about in the kitchen. Well, she wasn't totally in the kitchen yet. It was almost like she was debating on coming in or not. But their eyes were locked now, or he had at least seen her, so she had to enter. He wasn't going to say anything though, it was Aiden's turn to talk again. The other girl would make the decision on her own. Very suddenly though, Eric realized that most of the girls who had arrived were very attractive. - EK, Norway

"...............• • • • • • • • • • • • XXXXXXXXTalk about quick to conversation. Sheesh! The look he was giving her though for not knowing much about technology was kind of embarrassing. It wasn't like she needed to know how towork a phone aside from the basic "dial number and press green button." Texting was hard to do and quite annoying. If someone wanted to talk to her and couldn't meet in person, a phone call would suffice. To her belief anyways. Now, pushing aside the age shocker and lack of knowledge for the technological world, Eric didn't seem to mind her much. Which, was good since she had no idea who her fiance was as the brunette didn't bother to pay attention to the name and instead complained for almost the whole time. If it was him, it would be awkward. "Way to go mom. Give me the oldest guy here!" Rolling her eyes in sarcasm, Aiden glanced around, wishing it was still just three, and not the whole party. Not to mention, half of said party were wearing bikinis, and probably giving Quinn, the second guy to enter the kitchen, brain damage or a serious nose bleed.XXXXXXX"Correction. Had. I told him I was apparently engaged to some stranger across the world and we just split. Hasn't talked to me since. He thought he would be the one at the end of my college years to kneel down on one knee, presenting my Grandma's ring to me. But, it's now someone else's job." Lifting her left hand to show said ring which no one surprisingly brought up yet, Aiden rolled her eyes. She didn't have any plans for getting married until after she had a stable job with a university degree to say she spent x amount of years of torture just to say she was smart enough to own a degree. Either way, all was changed, and she was getting married at six or seventeen to some random guy who was probably as horny as the jocks on the football (not American) team that wanted a girl before fully getting the girl, baggage and all.XXXXXXNot really paying attention to the newest newcomer that was kind of seemed like she was stalking the group with her antics, Aiden glanced around every face, hoping to remember the names of each face. It would seem a little rude to live with someone for three months and not know their names off by heart. A few more people could be heard from the pool area, making it more appealing than having such a crowd. Not that space was an issue, the kitchen could hold all six and then some parties full of people it seemed. Blunt and truthful to Eric, Aiden decided to throw the spotlight off of her to make herself more comfortable. "What about you Soph? Any unlucky man who was left behind?" There! Now the attention was slightly off of Quinn and off of her for a small moment, while Soph formed her answer and Eric his thoughts on her comments.• • • • • • • • • • • • ..............."I'm already engaged, there aren't really any sнєиαиιɢαиs I can get into." ..............."Well, that's the point, sтυριɖ, otherwise it wouldn't be an adventure!" ..................
