Huh. This might be a good way, short of using Pokésav or the Pokémon Legality Checker, which are both a pain to use; to make sure that players do not use hacked Pokémon.

VS Recorder Hack Check ftw
So I think from now on we'll save the battle videos so that we can check them. That way no hacks find their way into the league.

I suppose that makes sense that the VS Recorder checks that.
GTS also checks for hacked Pokémon too, and won't allow hacked Pokémon to be traded using it.

Hacked for me is like editing the stats, editing the nature, editing the ability, and editing moves it cant learn naturally or by TM.
I got no problem with people using wild encounter modifiers, max TM/Masterballs thing, or shiny. I dont really like the lvl 100 thingy some use, but I have no problem with that either. Any of these things effect stats?

And for eggs?Example: the egg was made by 2 or 1 hacked pokemon, will the egg be considered a hacked pokemon at birth, or will it be considered clean/legit?

Say you hacked the IVs on the parent pokemon, then transferred them to the egg. That would be bad.

The egg, when hatched, will look legal to the game, so long as the Pokémon that were used to make the egg can make the egg in the first place.
Whether it's considered hacked or not is in question.

O_O It would look legit, so I guess... it would just have to happen?

Sadly, they are most accurate when there are no EVs on the pokemon in question and it is at Lvl 100

Glad to know that we atleast have something preventing hackers from prevailing.
Unlike Microsoft (Xbox 360) and Sony (PS3) who are having trouble stopping modding and altering of systems. Lag switches...all sorts of junk ruining the online gaming community. This may seem random, but...I've experienced all these things lol. sweatdrop
