Kredoe gave a hmph at her adopted father and stood her ground. "No! Both of you are acting like you have something to prove and as amusing as that is to watch, you're making Ydda very uncomfortable!" She scolded, though her gaze was trained on Isiah. Without missing a beat, she approached the other stallion and spoke so softly that only Ryuhei could hear it, "Ydda is staying and nothing you say or do will change that."
She let a smug grin appear on her lips at the way Ryuhei suddenly tensed.

Dark, angry eyes glared at Kredoe when the mare told Ryuhei that Ydda was staying. He didn't want Kree to think it mattered to him whether or not Ydda was staying. Still, his body instinctively tensed at the prospect. It wasn't as if he had any lingering guilt over something he had done so long ago. That was ancient history.
He found his gaze wandering over to Ydda. She was not a mistake that had come back to haunt him. She looked perfectly fine. Even if the scars on her neck was a stark contrast to her skin. "Whatever. It doesn't matter whether or not she knows me."
And with that, he left.

Isiah blinked, dumbfounded. He looked questioningly at Kredoe, but the mare only batted her lashes in feigned innocence at him. He shook his mane and sighed before giving Ydda an apologetic smile, "Sorry, we're not usually this, err, disagreeable in the group but this is no way your fault. Please, stay as long as you want. We could always use cooler heads in the herd. And I'm sure the two-legged one won't mind either. It didn't have a problem with Ryuhei so I doubt it would take issue with you."

Ydda soon found herself unable to refuse the offer. Kredoe had insisted very strongly that she should stay and, well, it flattered Ydda to no end. No one had asked her to join their herd before, especially not with the sincerity and eagerness Kree had shown.
"A-alright, thank you very much. I, I promise to help out as best as I can."
